The Floor Trader (Stone Mountain Flooring Outlet)

The Floor Trader had excellent selection and the staff was very knowledgeable. They're very willing to take the time to talk to us, to find out exactly what we needed, what would be the best for us with pets and children and they helped us make the best most important decision so we are very pleased.

The Floor Trader (Stone Mountain Flooring Outlet) were great. I didn't end up using them but they were friendly and really bent over backwards. They did a lot of footwork looking for things that I liked. He even found something that I thought I might go with, but I ended up finding a place that was more wholesale. There is one guy in there that was just incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt there wasn't anything he wouldn't try to do for us. It was just when we compared the price with another company, they were cheaper, and I found something that was more what I wanted with them. He did really try to find me something in my price range. I thought they were great and I would recommend them.

It went fine although the order came later than expected. We did the installation.

Purchased a shaw hardwood floor for our kitchen which we were assured was going to be just fine, to quote " we have put this stuff in commercial areas". After just a couple of weeks the laminate started to bubble and the floor looked terrible. Stone mountain came up with every excuse in the book as to why this was happening. Incorrect installation(install was by a professional they know), moisture level in the basement(We have a pergo in our adjacent living room for 14 years now with no ill effects of "moisture"), and finally the real reason was that we used the wrong floor cleaner on it. we only got results after we contacted shaw directly. I would not buy another item from these people.

I am very pleased with the flooring that was put in my home by Dominic Pugh. His price was very reasonable as he had a significantly lower estimate than any other company I called. His estimate was almost 1,000 dollars less than most estimates. Dominic also accurately measured and estimated the amount of material needed, which saved on costs as well. He was very prompt with getting back to me when I called him and he arrived on time with no delays. He was very pleasant to work with while remaining professional. He is very efficient with his work as it actually took less time to complete than he first estimated. I would use Stone Mountain Flooring Outlet again in the future.

My wife and I had been looking for cost-effective flooring - all we could get from our builder was $6/sq ft + for hardwoods. Stone Mountain came in under $4 for great floors and we found beautiful tile for our foyer / power room. We liked their stock carpet, so most of our flooring in the house is from Stone Mountain. Besides supplying good products, their patience and help in making our selections and explaining the differences in materials was very helpful. We used Don, one of their recommended carpet installers and have no complaints. Professional and good prices.

The transition pieces for the laminate flooring were a little hard to come by, however, but after several phone calls and some firm pressure on the sales staff, we finally got the pieces we needed. Overall, the selection and price is what makes it worth using Stone Mountain. The staff is always helpful and willing to assist in any needs that come up.
