The installer just did a phenomenal job, everyone commented on it. Larry did the work, best craftsmen you could ask for. Neat, clean, knows what he is doing and does it right.

I told the salesman at first I did not think he knew what he was talking about but he nailed this one. The floor is just gorgeous and the workmanship is super. We asked for Larry again.

House is 42 year old with 3rd vinyl (sheet) kitchen floor. Kitchen is small nominal 12X15 floor with small pantry opened with bi-fold doors with stackable apartment size washer/dryer. Estimate contract was $2,468 for removal of two layers of flooring, patch and prepare present subfloor. On arrival, contractor suggested removing only 1 layer and leaving original existing layer. Pointed out existing floor had squeaks and contract called for prep work to include all previous layers (2) with "Patch and repair of present subfloor". On removal of all previous flooring, contractor found uneven cement residue that (in his judgement} would be difficult to remove and prepare for new vinyl installation. While there was a phone discussion between installer (Scott) and Owner (Michael), it was decided to install new 3/8 inch plywood veneer over existing underlayment at no further cost to me. This, I thought was very generous as it was not specified to be done in the contract. In addition to the kitchen floor, hardwood floors were installed in a large area of living and dining room. The work exceeded our expectations and will return to Ted's when additional flooring needs are required. Everything was great---assistance at the store, ordering, measuring and installation. The carpet was delayed by the manufacturer in Georgia, but that's not the business' fault. Installation was excellent, and the guys were professional and efficient. The carpet looks and feels fantastic. These were excellent people to do business with.

Perfect. Great job. Meticulous, efficient, went the extra mile as the saying goes. Sweet gentleman that installed same. Very tidy and knew his job to the letter. Helpful in all respects. Even helped me put all the furniture back. Very clean with regard to other parts of the house. Could not have asked for more. Extremely knowledgeable regarding all aspects of carpet installation, even fixed the terribly bent radiator covers so the carpet would be perfect and seamless. Worked quietly with no nonsense, very dedicated to the task at hand. Did just as I requested, I did not want that metal strip that lies between two different floor types, in my case, hard wood versus carpet. No buckling or bumps that show up after other installers have long gone! Beautiful, just a wonderful experience. I was apprehensive about the entire process only because I'd been disappointed before. Not so this time!!!! Carpet is tight, straight, smooth, no rippling, or lumps. Would recommend any time.

I took home samples and picked the natural stranded bamboo. When it was delivered to my house prior to installation, the actual flooring was slightly lighter and more yellow than the floor sample - enough that I decided I didn't want it. They ordered another run of the same color, which was just the same as the earlier delivery, so I picked out another color ( which I love in the room). They were able to order the new color and get it installed in a matter of a few days. They were very nice to deal with, very responsive and willing to do whatever it took to get me a floor that I liked. The installation itself went smoothly and the floor looks great!

It went very smoothly. We first went to Home depot and that was just a joke. They couldn't get anything right and the estimate was about 2K more than Teds. From start to finish very easy.

Installation was done very professionally and with high degree of craftsmanship. Had a couple of disconnects on completing the work and getting all the appliances back when the installer had some personal issues arise, but he did come back to complete the job which took an extra day or so. Then needed to return a third time to complete the sealing process. All work, including setting the pattern evenly on the floor area was done very well and it's held up over time. We really like the new vinyl flooring which totally changes the entire dimension of the kitchen and looks very much like tile.

The team came and laid out the flooring outside.It was really cool to see how they custom cut it to fit. They had to fix the exisiting sub floor. Then the linoleum was place down with a type of glue. The crew was very professional and respectful of my property. They also had answered any questions I had without feeling like I was interfering with their work. Everything just seemed to go well and when they were completed, I knew that the next time I need flooring, I would definately go back to them.

I had taken a remnant of old carpeting to them to see if they could find it. He looked at it, gave me honest advice, and disposed it. He was very honorable about it.

I am new to the area and found Ted's through Angie's List. Even though there were other rug stores closer, I used Ted's. The experience was truly pleasant. I could not find a rug in stock that I liked, so I was advised that any carpet in the store could be cut round for me, to any diameter. I took a couple of samples home and made a quick decision. I called in the style number to my salesman and he placed the order for me. (I returned the samples a few days later.) The carpet was ready in about a week and I picked it up at the store myself (plus the pad). It's beautiful and I am very pleased with the quality and service received at Ted's Flooring. Should the need arise for additional carpeting, I will definitely go back.

It is a family owned business. Store is clean and service is excellent. the owner takes time to help me pick the right carpet and window treatment for my house. overall it is a very shopping experience. I would shop again when I need more work done

I was very pleased with the staff at the store. I can't remember her name, but the woman in the showroom was extremely helpful. She was very patient with me and took time with me. She answered all my questions. I never did get a price, since changed my mind about the carpeting.

Honesty, Punctuality, Friendly!! I had water damage that needed repair. While I ultimately did the repairs myself to save money, Ted's provided me with an extremely reasonable estimate, they were at my home when they promised and most of all, they told me I didn't need a lot of the things other contractors told me I did. It seems that the others were trying to pad the bill while Ted's gave me a fair and HONEST estimate.

It went well. We had to reschedule the installation twice due to unscheduled delays with the contractor, and Ted's was very flexible. We priced several floor vendors and although Ted's was not the least expensive, we felt the most confidence with them. They were very helpful from the moment we walked into their store until we had a finished floor.

Another company that did an amazingly poor job first installing our kitchen floor. They were quick and sloppy, and the results showed. The tile was uneven and buckled up at points not laying smooth. The previous installer also made a mess on the driveway and on the lawn, which required extra clean up and new grass to be planted. Ted’s Flooring said they could do better and did. They had to rip up the bad job. They then place down the correct underlay for the floor, which helped it, lay smoother and protected the floor from cracking. The installer Pat and his wife both were careful and very professional. They took the necessary time to install the floor correctly. When people come in now they say wow great floor. I would recommend their services to anyone who wants a job done right. A few weeks later I needed s carpet installed and they did an excellent job with that installation as well. My only regret as a user of Angie's list is not making this report sooner. All the staff was on time, professional and easy to work with.

We were very impressed with the store staff & owner, they were very helpful in making choices and providing information. The owner did the measuring prior to actual purchase. We felt the prices were very fair. We had different installers for the kitchen vinyl and the bedroom carpet. The installer for the kitchen was great as well, very professional as well as very pleasant. He thought he would be doing the carpet so we talked to him about what should be moved out of the room (it was planned for another day). He was very accommodating. Then came the carpet installer (a different guy) & another, very different experience. This person complained that all the furniture was not moved out of the room already (there is a lot, my husband & I are both in our 60's). We had been assured by the first guy that he could do it all alone with dolleys so had not really given it much thought except to remove lamps, knickknacks, etc. The actual installer was very "whiney" & my husband helped him move all the furniture out, then put it all back. I blame both my husband and the installer for this, as if it had been me, I would not have helped. (My husband ended up seeing a chirpractor as a result.) The sound of the carpet installation involved a lot of crashing noises followed by grunts from the installer & more whining. When he left, we noticed that the transition strip (a wood strip which ends the carpeted area moving into hard wood) had been damaged (likely by one of those crashes). I called the store the next day & spoke with the clerk we had met originally. She assured us they would make it right, would have the store manager call me. I waited 4 days & called again, this time reaching the manager. He assured he would be back in touch. That was only yesterday, so I am keeping an open mind. It's really too bad that the carpet experience has really influenced the rating, which would have been excellent all around until the moment that part started. (One bad apple...) We chose the store based on Angie's list and let everyone know that when we were originally making the plans with them.

We used them twice because our daughter flooded the area that they had just done. They were really excellent and we were really pleased which is why we used them the second time. He was really busy during the holiday season but I was desperate to get the flooded floor fixed for the holidays so they squeezed us in and did a great job. As far as I know their price was on par with everyone else.

From the time I first walked in to Ted's to the installation of my carpet, I knew I was in good hands. Michael took his time and explained to me the differences between different types of carpets and how each does or doesn't fit my needs. Rather than just trying to sell me something expensive he worked with me to find the carpet that was right for my price and needs. I was able to take multiple samples home several times and they were large samples - not the small squares on boards that you get at Home Depot. He explained all the details of their fantastic warranty and was completely upfront about any limitations. I never felt badgered or pressured there. I was able to look around the store on my own but always have any questions answered immediately. Once I made my choice, they were ready to install in about a week and a half. Scott did the installation and he did an amazing job. I looked at several other places before settling on Ted's and I'm glad I did. I feel like I got a great carpet which was well installed for a very reasonable price. Time will tell how the carpet will hold up but I couldn't be happier with what I got.

I dealt with Darlene in the office. She was wonderful. She put me in the right direction, listened to my interests, gave me options and explained the warranties on different products. The installation guy came out and when he was doing my second floor bathroom, he found that I was missing a flange-thing and told me it needed to be replaced, or it could leak. He didn't have to do that, and I thought it was very professional of him to let me know. They were excellent, polite, on time and he cleaned up after himself.
