The last time I used this company, Mark went out of his way to fix my septic system and did a great job. This company is excellent, has a proven record as a standout, and operates with efficiency and integrity. I have been consistently more than pleased with their work and their entire ethic.

Mark Smith took the business over from his father Robert. Robert learned the trade from his uncle Arnold. Arnold and Robert did work for my in laws at their house and we have found Mark and Robert to be reliable and trustworthy. Mark has done work for my children since they owned their houses..

I called them Thursday morning - he arrived that afternoon, he removed the old twist handle leaking valve and replaced it with a new lever. It all took about 15 minutes Great job.

Mark tuned up our boiler just before winter and he and his father have been our plumbers for over 35 years.

Mark Smith always returns my calls in a timely manner. I've had him here twice now in the last 3 months for separate plumbing issues and these issues are always addressed and repaired quickly and efficiently. I would absolutely have no hesitation in calling him again and may do so soon for a bathroom sink replacement. I haven't received a bill for this yet but have had Robert Smith Plumbing here over the past three years 3 or 4 times in total now and have always received a fair price-I don't expect this would be any different.

Robert J Smith Plumbing and Heating did such a good job, I haven't needed them.They are highly experienced, came right away, owns an extra long snake which my house needs and many plumbers don't have it. They are fast, efficient, personable and they have two generations of experience. I don't have the comparison for the price but they are not the cheapest. I would absolutely use them again. I have been using them for 16 years and they are just fabulous. I have used others as well but they are just wonderful.

Very well if not done yearly cellar will flood

They came because a friend recommended it: the friend called them and they came - I guess they weren't taking on new customers but I'm not sure about that. They came and they checked our furnace. They were very professional and they seemed to have a lot of knowledge about what they were doing and I trusted them. Our furnace needed repairs - it needed some valves and things like that - and my husband was satisfied with the work and the price. He likes the company. Then we had them back: our shower was leaking and they came back. They were very responsive: I called them and they were there that day or the next day, and they took care of that immediately.

I called the plumber and he showed up the next morning. He explained what had to be done and proceded to do the work. He was neat and very polite and accomplished the job in about 1 hour. He cleaned up all the left-over materials. I have had this plumber perform work before and they always respond timely, perform the job in the shortest amount of time and are very, very neat. Their prices are very reasonable.

Job went very well. Trap had a hole in it and was leaking into the ceiling of the room below. The trap was located in a very difficult place to work on. I was impressed that R. Smith Plumbing was able to access the trap and replace it. The work was done to my satisfaction and within a very short time period. I recommend Robert Smith Plumbing. This is the second plumbing repair that they have performed for me. The first repair job was also done properly at a very reasonable price and to my satisfaction. I recommend Robert Smith Plumbing to Angie's List clients as well as to my family and friends.

I found them of Angie's List. They were very good and their pricing was reasonable. They called right away and came out the same day.

A friend lives near Robert's shop, and I had remembered him recommending Robert for any hot water heating problems. I called Robertand he and his helper responded almost immediately. He fabricated a necessary bypass for the radiator, refilled and bled the heating system, and assured that the system was operating properly again before he left. I'm so glad I called and will call Robert again for any of my heating or plumbing issues. I couldn't be more pleased with Robert J. Smith Plumbing and Heating's professionalism and service.

It was a satisfactory experience overall. They were fine in all respects.

My kitchen faucet was leaking and needed to be replaced. I checked Angie's list and found Smith Plumbing and Heating. I called them and Mark Smith came and replaced the faucet. He did an excellent job -- he was very neat and I would certainly call him again.

It was a difficult job, but he handled it very well. I intend on calling him for future repairs. I don’t remember the exact price but it was reasonable.

It went extremely well. They were just wonderful. I looked them up on Angie's List and called them because of their rating, which they deserve.

Excellent service. Did a thorough job of cleaning out clogged dishwasher drain, and replaced part in shower to stop drip. Saved us money by advising us that the part was still under warranty. Very personable and professional; reliable service at a good price.

Very prompt in responding and quality work. A few glitches with the charged labor amount were eventually resolved.

He checked out other things to make sure everything was ok. He spent quite a lot of time here. I was very pleased with him. I would recommend him and use him again in the future.

10 days living in my new house, one of my sump pumps went out. This was during a period where we had 6 inches of rain in a matter of days. I called Robert Smith Plumbing (Bob Smith) based on reviews in Angie's list, and proximity to my house. He did not call back until the day after (which was fine as I had said on my voice mail it was not an emergency as I had a working sump pump, and I knew many other people were dealing with flooding.) He was very apologetic about it. He was able to come out the next day to check out the pump - saw it was a goner, and sent his assistant back for a new one. Installed it, and the whole thing took less than an hour (even counting time to get the new pump). Cost was $75 for labor - $175 for the new pump. He did not want payment right away, but sent me a bill the following month. I thought the price was more than fair, and he was very professional and courteous.

I called for three days and no one bothered to get back to me.

I have used this company for the past ten years. They have replaced the whole sewage system for me. They have drained my basement of sewage more times than I care to remember. I feel that their prices are reasonable and they do great work. I feel that they try to keep the prices down for their clients.
