Pro-Tech Lawn Sprinklers

I couldn't be more pleased with Pro-Tech. The owner, Todd, came out and personally walked my property, then walked me through the installation plan and answered any questions that I had. His crew showed up right on-time, and all members were pleasant, efficient, and helpful. They installed a 7-zone, 25 head system in about 3 1/2 hours. They clean up as they go, and I was amazed by how "normal" the yard looked after the work, as in you can barely tell they installed the system aside from a few seams and the flags denoting the locations. They also gave me a full tutorial on how to operate the system. I couldn't have asked for a better installation, and they also happened to be the lowest bid. There rating here is well-deserved.

Repaired valves, replaced a head, tested and adjusted the system. Work was well done.

Great. These folks really know what they are doing. System installed including burying lines, connected to house water, and setting heads in the ground. System was installed in November and will be turned on in the spring with all adjustments made at that time. Great people to do business with.

On time, work completed as promised. Met my tight time schedule of availability. Only one glitch, accidentally cut cable service. Many inground utilities to work around. No other problems. We hired Pro-Tech in September to install an add on to our current irrigation system. The sales representative, and the administrative assistant were helpful, and professional when establishing an agreed upon contract, collecting half of the payment for services, and scheduling the installation date (October 17). On the date of installation, the job took less than an hour, was incomplete, with an explanation that they would return promptly for the remainder of the installation. After a week from the initial installation, Pro-Tech returned to our property (October 25) for the completion of the install, and were still unable to complete the job. After several phone calls and attempts to schedule their return for the installation of our add on system, the Pro-Tech owner arrived (November 8), and again, was unable to complete the job. The Pro-Tech owner was hostile, while explaining that he had more important jobs to complete, and would not have time to complete our installation until the end of November (with the additional expenses). Hostility is an unacceptable way to behave with customers, and for the safety of my family, Pro-Tech was asked not to return to our property. The add on to our sprinkler system is still incomplete, yet we are still receiving a bill with a remaining balance from Pro-Tech, for services not completed.

The cost includes closing the system at the end of the year. They were professional and very knowledgeable.

It was great from the first visit to discuss where to install the system to the day it was installed. They were very professional, answered all my questions and got it done within a few hours.

Excellent service in the installation of our sprinkler system. When you call them they always answer the phone and someone can help you. Schedule an appointment for an estimate and they showed up on time and provided a reasonable quote. All intend work was fully explained. I put a deposit down (with CC which was nice) and scheduled the install. On the day of the install, they showed p on time and completed the install in a timely manner. We did have one problem. During the install, a distribution box on my septic system was hit and destroyed. Before the work was done, we went over where the septic tank and leech field was but I couldn't pinpoint all components of the septic system. The installer pointed out the damage (he could have hid it) and I told them I would speak to the owner. Per the contract, they were not liable because I didn't specifically identify the location of the box, however, were work out a agreement where they will open and close my system for several years to compensate me for a portion of the repair cost of the distribution box. Through the whole process their entire staff was a pleasure to work with. The system works great and our lawn is coming in nicely.

Pro Tech repaired and adjusted several sprinkler settings, replaced a sprinkler head and re-positioned several heads. They also re-set my master settings. The adjustments they made appear to be working well. At first I was billed more than I expected, but they adjusted my billing after I discussed the issue with them. Their work was good and their technician was amiable.

Don was punctual, courteous, and knowledgable. However his quote was more than 50% higher than the other quote I got. So I ended up using another company.

We have been happy with them. Their customer service people are always friendly and the workers are always efficient.

Raymond DeMarco showed up on time on 5/10/13 and I explained my existing sprinkler system that was for the front and side yard, but that I wanted to expand it into the back yard and other side of house. Also explained I needed to have zones for drip irrigation for my garden. Raymond was extremely professional and answered ALL my questions. The pricing for the quote was very good (I thought) given the amount of work to be done. I am scheduled to have the system installed on July 3rd and will update the review then. UPDATE: Everyone showed up on time on July 3rd (cloudy, possibly rainy day). They were all very pleasant and accommodating working around the various landscape cables, etc. Everything was installed fine and I even got manuals and the tools to adjust any heads if necessary. They finished around 3:00 p.m. (it got real hot and humid later in the day). Due to tree roots and sandy soil, one small section of lawn was a little disturbed, but otherwise you can't tell where anything is at now (back yard lawn was in poor shape anyway). All staff (sales and installation) are very pleasant and friendly and PROMPT. They show up when they say they will. Will definitely recommend.

The entire installation was performed in a single day. They held to their original schedule, making it easier to integrate previously scheduled landscaping work with the sprinkler system installation. Several workers were assigned to the project and the team coordination was impressive. The original design seemed to properly cover the entire lawn area. Unfortunately, the town asked Pro Tech to reposition all of the sprinkler heads located near the street. Since the company performs a lot of work in our town, it was difficult to understand why this town rule was not understood and factored into the original design. The revised design likely did not optimally distribute water over the lawn as did the original design. We are very satisfied with this new system, which will make lawn maintenance much simpler.
