The salesman Jim Wing was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the specs on the sunroom. He was able to answer all of my technical questions and was very accommodating when it came to visiting our home and bringing samples. It was his professionalism and knowledge that helped us decide to hire this company. The workmen, from Dave the foreman to Joe and Vince who did the majority of the build, were skilled and friendly and answered any questions we had as the work progressed. Joe and Vince did exceptional, quality work and, in the bitterly cold and snowy conditions. Our 4 season room is great.

Certainly not the best time of year to install windows and this winter has been a bear! There were a few delays because of the below 0 temperatures but when the installers did come, they worked very efficiently to enclose the windows quickly. Great job. We are pleased how the windows look and the workmanship. We will not hesitate to have Patio Enclosures come back to install a few more replacement windows next year. The only reason we rated the quality a B was because we have only had them a day and can't rate performance or overall wear at this time, but they look great!

It was fine. I liked their design and the price was right. I didn't have any complaints. It was good. I would definitely use them again.

A pleasant experience from the beginning. Tony our salesman visited our home, was courteous, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Scott visited our home to verify measurements and further explain the installation process. Bruce and Joe completed the install. We feel we were treated fairly and with the help of our Angies List deal, were charged a fair and competitive price. We are out in the Berkshires - Western Massachusetts. Our location was not an issue for Great Day. They serviced us as if we were next door and we appreciated that consideration. The office staff, Gina, was always available to help answer a question or pass a concern on to the appropriate department. Calls were returned promptly. We had a few issues with the subcontractors but they were not willing to leave until we were satisfied so it was not a problem. They wanted to make sure everything was perfect. They completed the work within a couple of weeks. Aaron the manager and Tony the salesman were focused on customer satisfaction. We have not had a single problem with our four season sunroom.

Nice company, but they didn't sell what I needed (wood doors).

Room was built a year and a half ago, and we have had no problems. We use it a lot. We would definitely hire them for a future job.

Dos - The overall experience was excellent. Our salesman was very punctual, informative, flexible and his presentation was low pressure. The construction team (a primary team of two, but sometimes up to four) were courteous, prompt, professional and paid a lot of attention to detail. They tolerated all of my questions and constant observation and were extremely responsive to requests for minor tinkering to their construction (e.g., could you caulk this corner of the wall?). They worked tirelessly all day and only took a break for lunch. They have a lot of experience building sunrooms, and not being particularly handy myself, I marveled at the ease, speed and efficiency with which they completed their tasks. They removed the existing windows and wall on the back of the house (and replaced it with a french door) very quietly and with little effort and mess. They did an excellent job at cleaning up every day. After the room was completed, the company was very responsive to our requests for a couple of minor fixes. Our salesman eagerly provided many references. Everyone I spoke to loved their sunrooms and most were in it theirs when I called them. Although it's only been a couple of weeks, we love our sunroom too. Do nots - All are minor and really "be aware ofs.". When we were having our preliminary discussions about the design of the room, we were told that we would be able to do certain things (e.g., center the sliding door on the wall from the room to our deck). However, due to the size of the door and the windows, with a 14' wall we couldn't do this and retain the sliding screens on each side of the door. We were concerned about how this would look, but are happy with the results. So, while thing may be possible theoretically, they may not be possible in your specific case. I would recommend paying a lot of attention to the CAD drawings before the materials are ordered. Once we signed the contract, we assumed that our floor square footage would be 14' x 14.' However, since the four season insulated windows/walls are 6" thick, our actual floor space is only 13' (side-to-side) x 13.5' (from house to back sunroom wall). Again, our experience was great, but you need to pay attention to detail when undertaking a major project.

Our salesman was Tony. The room is wonderful, even 10 years later. Tony was very helpful and the installation went very smoothly. Last year, we had a problem with a couple of the skylights. They got water/condensation and mold between the panes of glass. Patio Enclosures replaced the two skylights at no charge. They did a great job!

Jim W. came over, took measurements and discussed our options with us. Based on his presentation and the materials he brought with him we opted to go ahead with the project - an awning to cover our back deck (approximately 16'x16'). We chose the automatic retractable with remote. Picked out the colors and trim. A few weeks later the installation crew (two men) came and installed it within a few hours. We love it - it's created an outdoor room for us. It also shades the kitchen and keeps it cool. Very happy with our purchase so far. We will probably have it hard wired into the house's electrics (an option that we originally did not go for).

This was a great experience. Sales rep was very helpful, thorough when explaining the product and NOT high pressure. Workers were punctual and courteous. This Organization was a joy to work with. Price was very reasonable compared to other estimates. They got the job done in less than 2 days. We could not be more pleased.

I was extremely happy and very satisfied. A friend recommended them. They did good work and there were no problems with the work they did. They did the work when they said they were going to and they did it quickly. There were no cost overruns. They were a little expensive.

The company representative proposed a more ambitious project than we had in mind, but was responsive to our needs and provided a design that was exactly what we wanted. He coordinated the work with a related project to resurface the floor. He and the construction crew were courteous and professional. We are very happy with the results.

Installation went smoothly. However, I was shocked when they started to remove the aluminum siding from above the window. When I confronted them, they said it was the only way they could firmly attach the shade and its electronic mechanism. I was skeptical but allowed them to continue. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the finished product. They replaced every piece they removed and you could not see where they had worked. It has been almost a year and the shade still works well and there are no signs that they had to take the siding off.

The salesman was pleasant and not high pressure. The workmen were timely, worked efficiently and were very pleasant. When one of the doors was defective, the workmen pointed out the problem and replaced it within the week. The measurements for each side of the porch was different but it did not matter because the workmen knew how to make the installation work and look good. Everything is guaranteed and soundly made. We are very satisfied.

They installed all vinyl sides including screens in the windows. The job was done in a timely fashion the guys were really nice, professional and did a wonderful job.

Our only complaint was their scheduling. On Aug. 7 they were still telling us work would start week of Aug. 4 or 11. On Aug. 8, this became Sept. 2. Their excuse was the rainy weather (understandable) but they could have informed us earlier about the delay. For our reasons we had to delay them until Sept. 11. Work was started Sept. 11 and completed within 4 business days. Other than the scheduling, we were very happy with them. The two man work crew was pleasant, efficient, and professional, and took care to avoid disturbing the plantings around the outside of the porch. We are very satisfied with the result.

Problems: 1. Foundation was set 2 inches too far to right, so that gutters of finished room overlapped a window. 2. Stairs to the room were built narrower than door opening. This problem was eventually fixed at our insistence. 3. When existing stairs & porch were demolished, the debris was left in the middle of the yard. It was dangerous (nails, etc.) and killed the grass under it. 4. Contract said ceiling fan was to be installed, but we had to supply the fan ourselves. 5. Center beam of room is covered by a metal sheath that has a wrinkle in it. 6. Edging of flooring is not fastened down. Overall: Different parts of the job were subcontracted, and the carpenter on our job was not very good. He was responsible for # 1, 2 and 3, above. The flooring we chose was discontinued by the time it was to be installed, leading to more delays while we found a substitute. Final result is adequate, but not perfect.
