I researched many companies over the winter and went with Joe, the owner of NML, because he spent alot of time explaining what I was getting. He uses very good materials and doesn't skimp on product. His price came in the middle of 3 other companies. He estimates the projects and doesn't send salesmen. He receives very good reviews from other sites. My 2,300 sq. ft 2 story house has a large footprint with a roof that has dormers and many angles/peaks so it wasn't an easy job. His team came at 7:00 am as promised, proceeded to cover the whole house with tarps, and worked like crazy until 6:00 pm. Done in one day! No nails or mess left behind. That was in May and I waited for several thunderstorms before I reviewed him and my ceilings are completely dry. I chose Owens Corning Duration Driftwood and love it. I would highly recommend Joe again to anyone.

NML Contracting and Roofing did an amazing job on our new roof!

I first contacted NML in April because due recent strong winds we lost a few shingles. NML promptly came to the house and Ben replaced the bad shingles. Ben did a thorough inspection of our roof and recommended replacement. We received a few more estimates and theirs was not the lowest or the highest. NML's estimate included a 50 yr Owens Corning warranty and the price was reasonable. Our new roof looks so beautiful. It was a bit challenging contacting Joe (the owner) by phone and/or email but he eventually returned my calls and messages, apologizing and explaining that he had been very busy. He scheduled the work within the time frame he originally proposed (2-3 weeks). The crew worked hard all day and both Joe and Ben answered our many questions. Joe stayed on the site until the job was completed and debris was removed from our yard. He even took many pictures, which he agreed to share with me. Yes, I would hire again.

I had a new roof & windows installed by NML contracting. The owner, Joe, was very informative & easy to work with. The quote I received was reasonable, and matched the final cost for the project exactly. The team did the work promptly & efficiently. Excellent. This is the 3rd roof I've had Joe do; different buildings. Small roof with front porch. Masons had come in and rebuilt the chimney. Did an awful job on the flashing. Chimney ended up a little crooked to the house. When they did the roof Joe's guys took the extra time to work everything so that it looks perfect. This is why I will keep calling him again and again.

Joe's response was immediate to minimize the damage. They kept at it until they found the crack and then repaired it. Joe Lombardo fron NML Contracting is at 518-369-9228, 22 Longwood Drive, Albany, NY 12211. He was very professional, yet very personable. He gave me a good estimate, arrived when he said he would, had a very good crew, and finished the job in half a day. He quoted me a price and quoted how much extra it’d be if he needed more materials than anticipated. He ended up needing extra plywood because some was rotted, but he still charged me less than he quoted, even though it would have been completely fair and acceptable if he charged me what he estimated. Joe’s crew ran into a small, unexpected problem through no fault of their own and Joe went and bought more materials and repaired the problem without any additional charge and without me even asking them to. Oh, and on top of that, I asked him to check a vent pipe to see if it was ok and he had a guy caulk 3 pipes for me at no extra charge. If I need more roofing work done, I’m going to call him again.

We were extremely pleased with the work done by Joe Lombardo and his hard-working crew. They were prompt, professional and completed the work in one very long day as promised. We are very happy with the finished product. Joe Lombardo (company owner of NML Contracting ) was on site to supervise all the work. We chose him based on two factors; his excellent rating on Angie's list and his estimate which was close to $1,000 less than the estimate we got from a competitor. We highly recommend this company.

This was my first major expense on my home. I had several quotes, and this one I trusted the most. The owner was informative, and easy to talk to. He kept in touch with me, and advised as soon as he knew that there would be an additional charge for replacing a few boards. This was not a surprise, as the potential additional charge is written in the contract. The guys who did the work were respectful, and very hard workers. They literally worked from sun up until sun down, and continued to work until the job was complete. Their clean up was amazing. They were all very professional. I would hire them again, and have already given out their name, and recommended them to two potential customers.

When we looked into getting our roof replaced, we found out we had to have many of the supporting roof beams replaced as well; the wood had literally rotted due to poor ventilation. We got estimates from 2 other companies (one was over $20K) when we were lucky enough to find Joe at NML. NML is a certified installer of Owens Corning and uses only quality Owens Corning products, including shingles . NML's estimate not only was less than both of the other companies, but Joe and his team did an amazing job, with the most of the roof completed in just one day. They cleaned up my yard so well it looked better than it had before they arrived, and the roof looks amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!
