Description of Work: The project was to re-attach the electrical box to the exterior of the house. It had moved away due to frost heaves. It was pretty extensive in that it required two men to excavate the area carefully to locate and reposition underground wires. The project was completed on the scheduled date and within the estimated timeframe. Very professional.

We are very sorry that this potential customer is outside of our coverage area, and that is the only reason that we were unable to help on this project. We take customer service very seriously, and being outside our coverage area will not allow for us to provide the same top-level service our customers have grown to expect. We respectfully passed on this project, after a very nice conversation with this Angie's List member. I am very sorry that we do not service Hoosick Falls, but I do not feel that an "F" was necessary, as this effects the way others within out coverage area view our abilities. I hope this does not reflect poorly on us as a company, as we occasionally have to turn away work due to traveling distance. It is a standard practice in almost all service companies.

Description of Work: Really high estimates for ceiling fan installation. They were going to charge $500/room for three ceiling fan installations (we had already purchased the fans). We ended up going with someone who installed all three rooms for $500 total.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you did not see the value in the quote we gave you four months ago. I am surprised to hear that someone was willing to install three ceiling fans, and switches, and wiring for $500 (including crawling into the attic and fishing wires). I cannot speak for this other company, but I can assure you that when our company is hired, we do not take any shortcuts, especially in the installation of a ceiling fan. We include a UL approved fan brace box to ensure that the weight of the box is supported on an extra-strength box, not a standard box which is not rated for that weight. I also hope that you are comparing apples to apples, when comparing my company to the person you ultimately hired. When you hire our company, you do not receive a handyman or a novice installer. We provide a fully trained and knowledgeable electrician with multiple years of experience in installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and customer satisfaction. We are training constantly on how to offer the best, newest, and safest work available. I am glad to hear you were pleased with the work performed. If you were able to get that low price without giving up quality or safety, then I am happy to hear that you got such a deal. Description of Work: They installed a ceiling light fan in a bedroom. There was no existing ceiling light; therefore, they had to run wires to the center of the ceiling to install the fan and also hook it up to the light switch. They were very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company even though I thought their price was high.
