Came to condo to examine damage and never contacted me about cost of repair and did not reply to 2 phone inquirerees

The first project went pretty well although he couldn't get to do the estimate right away and then couldn't do the work for many weeks after that. I didn't argue on his estimate cost and paid him promptly upon its completion. When that work was finally done, I asked if he could do similar work on another of my buildings, he said he couldn't get to the estimate for 2 months. After the 2 months passed, I followed up and was told he didn't know when he could get to do an estimate and couldn't get to do the work for at least 6 months. I just wish he had told me at the start that he wasn't interested in

I had a roof leak last winter that caused some damage to the upstairs bathroom ceiling. I hired Mark to repair the ceiling sheet rock that was cracked and also replaced the bathroom ceiling fan with a more powerful model. He also closed off a section near my front entrance that needed sheet rock. He supplied all materials so I didn't have to do anything. Overall he did a nice job and it was done very timely.

He did a great job, was very punctual, cleaned up and did his work with little to no supervision. Very pleased with the result. I would use him again.

He was great. Stopped by to assess the damage. Returned with all supplies and made a full repair. Responded quickly to our call and was helpful and nice to work with. Also, wears a cowboy hat!

Had Mark come in to replace the rotted out wood under the french doors leading to the backyard. Mark did an excellent job with the entire project. He walked me through and thoroughly explained what he found during the process, and his proposed repairs. The quality of the repairs was top-notch with full attention to detail. I've already scheduled him for some additional work around the house, and would not hesitate to recommend him.

One Wednesday December 2, 2015 I called Mark the Handyman due to a leak in one of my properties. Mark picked up and told him about the leak in the basement and he said he could go over around 1PM, he went to the location at appropriately 1;20PM renters were present as it was a rental property, Mark recognized the problem as a leak in the supply valve under the Master bathroom sink. He said he would fix it and should be relatively simple, he then called me to tell me that the faucet was a once piece unit and the hose can not be replaced and he would have to order the part from Lowes. I asked him how much it would be and he told me he would let me know, I also asked him to look at a space above the refrigerator where there was a opening to cover that up he said he would take a look at it. He then called me later that afternoon approximately around 3:45PM. and told me that the new faucet from Lowes would cost around $300, asked him why it was an estimate if he ordered the part, he said he would get me the receipt so I was satisfied also he said he could put a piece of brushed aluminium for the opening above the fridge and charge me $100 so for the faucet replacement, fixing the opening including parts and labor he said $550.00 I said could I have a discount so he said he would do it for $530.00 Also he said the parts would arrive on Tuesday 12/8, so I said fine and told him to save all the receipts and the old parts that he taken out of the bathroom which was a expensive Kohler K12181-NB $230.79 retail he said he would ave everything. One 12/8 I called to to ask about the parts he said it is in transit and did not arrive, I asked him to give me the receipts so he said he would give it to me on 12/10 Thursday met him on Thursday 1PM he proceeded to give me a piece of paper looked like a Lowes internet order the lettering was so small barely could see, I asked for the old parts he said it was buried in he's truck and he would give it to me later. Well called Lowes to find out the receipt that he gave me had fake part Numbers, fake pricing and the part had been sitting there waiting for pick on one 12/8 as expected. I asked the Lowes person to look into the matter he said a man came into Lowes an hour ago and was mad that they talked to me about he's order and returned the part. I called Mark asked him what was going on that I called Lowes he said he didn't know, I texted him again he said im making accusations and would not do business with me again. Later I personally went to lowes and met with the associate who was assisting me "Diane" she was excellent she wanted to get to the bottom of this as well. I showed her the receipt that Mark gave me she could not believe it, it was made up and all fake information. I texted mark again asking him to return my parts and he said "he would get to it when he gets to it" I told him my attorney would be contacting him. First time I ever used Angie's list and I had to meet a scammer like Mark!!! I am taking him to small claims court and have documented every detail on this transaction, I absolutely can not believe how he could have a overall rating of "A" I am positive this guy did this to many un-suspecting people and I will make sure that he does not scam another good person ever again. As a result of all this my tenants were inconvenienced for a week, I ran back and forth for several days, I had to purchase the part that Mark ordered since he kept my old part and had to pay another person to install it costing me double the normal price due to night time install. I am so livid with this whole situation, I am still fuming. I just can not believe there are people like this on Angie's list getting a "A' rating fooling all the good customers out there.... I hope Angie's list takes action against this person. Thank You Daniel Kim

Mark hung some very heavy pictures and a heavy mirror and worked on a toilet.

Mark was professional, came in at his quoted price, quick and friendly.

Everything was great. Mark is prompt, efficient and handled painting and electrical tasks well.

all work went very well, he was on time and finished in a timely manner. He's very busy, so when we needed additional work, he won't be able to get to it until two weeks. We will probably wait for him to do it. Nice guy.

He was very very good. He knew what he was doing. He was very efficient. He did everything timely. He was just very good and my neighbors were surprised at the price that he gave me. I would use him again in the future.

He answered the phone immediately when I called and scheduled an installation date immediately for only several days later. He arrived on time at the time promised- 8 AM- was very professional. Work was top quality. Very pleased with this contractor and would highly recommend him to all. It is hard to find someone who meets all your expectations and delivers the work promised in a very timely fashion.

I got a hold of him the first time that I called. He came and did an assessment for me. He told me that he would email it to me, but he never did. I called him again and he was supposed to come out last Tuesday. I called on Monday because I hadn't heard anything from him and he told me that his truck had broken down and that he wouldn't be coming. He never emailed me the estimate, even after contacting him again about that specifically. He also told me that he would come out sometime this week, but I have yet to hear from him.

I called this provider and left a voicemail requesting work to be done at our office in Albany NY. I never received a return phone call. I then called again the following day, left another message and it is now a week later and I have not received a call yet.

Mark arrived on time and went right to work on hanging two things, both were extremely heavy a mirror and picture. He also worked on a toilet for me. He was was very professional and i wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Mark arrived as scheduled. We reviewed the installation plan and he began the work immediately. The job was done in a day and to our satisfaction. He Is professional in his approach and doesn't waste time. We plan to him do other jobs for us in the future.

Very well. Within one hour, Mark not only completely removed, repaired, and reinstalled the ridge vent, but he also took the time to survey the entire roof, found some loose shingles and fixed those too. Mark has done a variety of work for us over the years, and we've alway been extremely pleased not only with his expertise, thoroughness, and the quality of his work, but also with his reliability. Moreover, we feel that his prices are very fair.

He told me before he came out I should check the breakers in the basement to see if that's why a couple sockets aren't working in the kitchen. He waited on the phone while I went down to the basement and he helped me through the checking process. Also he said to try pushing the red button at the bottom of the garbage disposal. Neither of these was the problem though. At least he tried to save me some money just in case a service call wasn't necessary.
