+ -1 moreI made the mistake of using one of LL's installers, AARS hardwood flooring. My advice to potential customers is to use an installer that is recommended by a friend or neighbor. My bamboo flooring was installed in February of 2015. It looked beautiful for 2 weeks. Then it started to gap in various spots. I complained and was referred to LL's complaint dept. it took months of negotiating before the repair was done in June. The floor seemed fine for a while. Now, in march of 2016 it is gapping in several spots and popping up in another area. I do not want to have the second repair done by the same installer. Hopefully, I'll be able to find someone that knows what they're doing, even if it costs me more money. I found AARS flooring [the owner] to be unwilling to accept responsibility for his mistakes. I found most of the employees at LL to be rude, unprofessional and obnoxious with the exception of the store manager, Nick.
Description of Work: sold me Bamboo flooring.

Description of Work: I bought a floating wood floor from them and they set me up with an installer. 6-7 months after floor was installed it buckled badly during a very hot/humid spell in July. When I called LL they put me in touch with installer who suggested I buy a humidifier for bedroom. I did and floor resolved the next day so I thought the problem was solved. I called the service back to report that the problem seemed to be resolved. They said to call if it happened again. I continued to use the humidifier on and off on real hot/humid days. In end of August didn't use and had no more problems until the following summer again during July. |When I called LL again they said nothing could be done because the 1 year warranty was up. After following their directions on who to contact (the company that hired the installers and many e-mails ,was told to have an inspector come in at my own cost of $500 and if the floor was found defective they would replace but if it were for other reasons ie: environmental conditions they wouldn't. Since I knew it wasn't the floor it self it only happened if it was hot/humid I didn't spend the money. |They also told me they were not responsible for the installers work because they are not actually employed by LL. |I would never by a floor from them again as I have learned my lesson. I will only buy from a company that provides sales and SERVICE.

+ -1 moreDominick was great! I gave him the measurements for the rooms requiring flooring, the number of stairs and after deciding on the flooring I wanted he did the rest. He answered every question I had completely and to my satisfaction. When it came to selecting the right underlayment for my floors, he gave a very compelling demonstration. I was very pleased with my purchase after the flooring was installed. I would recommend Lumber Liquidators and Dominick to my friends and family. As a matter of fact, my parents purchased flooring to replace the one in their kitchen. Well done!
Description of Work: I purchased Bellawood Bamboo flooring, stair treads, stair risers and Tranquility vinyl flooring.

+ -1 moreThey were very friendly, and they gave us samples to bring home to match with our cabinets. The guy there was very helpful and got everything loaded in my car. They were also easy to get in touch with, and their pricing is wonderful.
Description of Work: We bought the floor for the kitchen and hallway from them.

+ -1 moreTHEIR PRICE WAS RIGHT. THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE ABOUT TWO WEEKS BEFORE THEY HAD IT IN. TWO WEEKS CAME AND IT CAME IN. THERE WAS NO BAIT AND SWITCH, IT CAME WHEN THEY SAID IT WOULD. EVERYTHING CAME ON TIME.
Description of Work: THEY SUPPLIED MATERIAL FOR LAMINATE FLOORING.
