Diagnosis and replacement of old hard drive competed over a two-week period

It went fine. It went so well, I kept thinking that Liberteks is the AAA for PC's. Not being a tech oriented person myself, it is good to have them to call on. I have been a customer for years and always appreciate both the sales and technical staff. I highly recommend them to others as help you can rely on.

In early December I brought my computer to Libertek.com, Incorporated because my screen was freezing quite often along with the keyboard locking up. They performed a diagnostic and found an adware program plus they told me the hard drive starting to fail and needed to be replaced. That service, cost $81.00. At the time I wanted to wait until January. The Libertek Technician told me that when a hard drive fails, it fails quickly to where data cannot be transferred from the old hard drive to the new hard drive. When that happens, they would need all the original software to program the new hard drive. This would be a costly and a time consuming effort. In late December my computer was really starting to fail where I was losing segments of memory; Windows would perform a recovery to restore those lost segments. I brought the computer to Libertek on the afternoon of 12/30/2014, expecting a 1-2 week turn around. To my surprise; I received a call on 1/2/2015 telling me the computer was ready to go. I picked it up that afternoon and it's been working perfectly. This second visit cost $150.00 for the new hard drive, $75.00 for labor, plus sales tax. I highly recommend Libertek.com. I feel this company Is very honest, professional, with quality workmanship and truly responsive.

Was very disappointed and very expensive. I am at fault for not asking before I went there on how much this was going to cost so ask ahead I learned the hard way. I dropped off my computer and it cost me $125.00 + tax that day before they even did anything (cost to do a diagnois) $135 with tax, later I find I have a virus and it will cost $95.00 to remove it, and then another $65.00 + tax to put a better virus protection on it. It had factory protection on it and the computer was not even a year old, but because I am not a tech person they got me, bad for me not doing my homework, Im sure I could have done something different. I went back on April 5th to pick up my computer and they bring out the wrong computer to me. I said do you want the ticket I was given and was told I didnt need it (it says right on the ticket that its needed to pick up computer) they came back out with my computer and I asked if they would check to make sure the virus protection was put on my computer (it was not) so now I am told it will take 10-15 minutes to put it on the machine. Funny is cost $65+tax for 15 min. They disappeared with my computer as I waited. So when I finally got my computer they charged me the additional 172.80 for the virus removal and protection = total cost over $300. I could have bought a new laptop for that. Will never use them again even when the protection expires. They didnt apologize for taking longer than they said, they didnt aplogize for the work not being completed until I asked them to check, never offered to take anything off the cost. Big disappointment!!!!!!!!!!!

Services were performed as promised. Dylan, the technician, kept me informed by phone while he was working on the laptop.

The entire job was performed as agreed upon. The job took somewhat longer than they anticipated due to the difficulty in obtaining older drivers. All-n-all, the experience was favorable.

First phone call, went very professionally. Visit to drop off, excellent communication from staff. Pick up went smoothly. Suggestions were made to protect files!

The workers at the company are very professional. The young man who delivered and set up the computer was very knowledgeable as well as courteous.

THE SERVICE WAS GOOD. ANY WORK THAT HE DID WAS DONE PROMPTLY. I'M FAMILIAR WITH WHAT IT COSTS FOR OTHER COMPUTER SERVICES. THE PERSON WHO PERFORMED THE SERVICE WAS GOOD.
