 + 0 moreThe guys came out and picked up the rugs at the agreed upon time. Cleaning time estimated between 10 days and 2 weeks. I also inquired about purchasing new pads. I called 2 weeks later and was told my rugs were ready. Set up a time for delivery and purchase of new pads. Rugs looked good . My problem occurred after the sale. The carpet pads they used kept slipping and sliding with my runner. I called the store and spoke to the owner who said he would call me back. I stopped into the store when he didn't call and he wanted me yo come back later. He again took down my number. And again never called. I had to go out and purchase different pads. I was disappointed that once I had paid for the job, the owner didn't seemed to care about any problems.

Description of Work: Everything was fine; I realize that carpets are very expensive, and a lot of their work is done by hand. That being said, it was $200 to clean a 5 x 7 rug. I also asked them to bind up the short edges, because they were fraying. This is done by hand, but cost $30/foot! I don't think the rug cost $500 new. They took twice as long (4 weeks vs. 2 weeks) as they said they would because the binding guy was out sick. I didn't end up picking it up for another month because I was scraping together the cash to pay for it. They did nice work, but next time I will shop around for a better price. There may not be one, I am not knowledgeable about this service.

 + -1 moreThe rugs came back clean and supple, with bright colors. There was some minor bleeding into some lighter areas. Appearance of rug that had fringe repaired was much improved. I was also given some large pieces of scrap under cushioning to try, and was offered a good price if I wanted to buy more. and quot;Sammyand quot; was responsive and eager for me to be satisfied with the work. At my request, he attempted to straighten edges on a rug that had ruffled,. He was not able to stretch out the ruffle and rapidly refunded me the cost of that service. I was very satisfied with this service.
Description of Work: Provider cleaned three oriental rugs, and trimmed and chain stitched fringe on one of them.

Description of Work: My oriental carpet required cleaning. The carpet is100% wool and is light in color. Jafri did a great job although thr price was high. I would recommend taking a picture of your rug before leaving it. There was a mix-up and my name was put on someone else's rug, In a a store with thousands of rugs, how do you describe your rug? You need a picture. The mix-up was rectified quickly. The carpet looks new. I would use them again.
