Description of Work: We had a very good experience with Hession last week. Our experience was not with the owner but with one their long-time guys. He was able to fit us in on the same day we called, to replace a light switch with a short. We still haven't received a bill so I'm not sure the exact price but I expect it will be in their basic 1 hour service call cost range.

Description of Work: Called them up, Richard was at my door within days. Had a plug in my spare bedroom grounded and had a GFCI outlet installed in the bathroom.

We talked to them early in the morning and we had someone out to do the work first thing in the morning. The electrician that they sent out was very nice and very professional. He did the job very quickly and very well. We were very pleased with them all around.

Description of Work: He installed the cable wire for my family room. He ran the wire from the basement into the wall by drilling into the wall. The cable company noted that Hession installed very high quality cable into my home. He also fixed a few light switches that were installed improperly by my previous contractor. He also installed a carbon monoxide detector on a continuous circuit.

+ -1 moreHe arrived right on time, discussed the job, suggested improvements to my job concept, estimated time needed and left to get parts. He returned in about 45 minutes and finished in about 2 and a half hours. He was polite and thoroughly professional, cleaned up well, and explained everything he had done. He pointed out all the new boxes and lines and explained the safety concerns.
Description of Work: Installed boxes and lines to bring power from a generator into the house during a power outage. Installed new plug and boxes to allow furnace and water heater to be powered by the generator.

+ 1 moreI'm always pleased with the result. I don't think they're expensive. They always give an estimate before the work is done and will work with you on what needs to be done first. We bought an older fixer upper (always go for the full inspection) to save(?) $$$ we did not have our house fully inspected when we bought it Surprise! But as I've said, Hession Electric is Terrific. I always call them without hesitation.
Description of Work: Installed indoor fans, lights and electric wiring. Also outdoor lights for front and back of house, 220 outlet installed for clothes dryer.
