Eric came and put the line back in place, doesn't even look like it was ever removed.

Eric was able to see us within 24 hours of our contacting him. He arrived on time and was very professional - and had a good sense of humor. The fan had been removed by our handyman who discovered a very old device in the ceiling. When he attempted to remove it, it blew the power in about half of the house. Eric arrived and immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I asked him about the switch which I had not discussed on the phone. He fixed it too and we are having him back next week to work on a wiring problem on our third floor. He knows how to work on old houses! Definitely recommend him. Reasonable price and quick.

Eric is very good at what he does. He responded quickly when water was dripping inside our main panel and replaced the service cable, meter box and the panel. He took special care to seal/caulk everything and made sure that the inspection was done quickly to get the power back in the shortest possible time. The recessed light work was extremely well done. He uses bright, high quality lights (not the average home depot lights) that are also affordable. He completed all the work by himself working consecutive days without any delay or slack, which shows his high work ethics. Eric also worked with us with the budget as we will be doing more electrical work over the summer. Definitely will hire him again. Great guy to talk to as well.

Eric is a consummate professional. He spent considerable time with us reviewing different options. He not only labored over a two-day period completing the tasks above, but also undertook extra tasks to put finishing touches on his work. Eric did an amazing job on this project and actually went above and beyond our expectations. We had originally planned to install a single dimmer switch to control the 6 new recessed lights, but he recommended that we have two separate dimmers. I had only purchased one of the fancy digital dimmers that we use throughout the house, so he ended up having to go to Lowes to get another one. He did that at no additional cost. Eric supplied the LED recessed lights and they work very well. Clearly high quality lights that dim very well and produce nice light. We are very pleased with the quality of the materials he used. He only had to cut one small notch in the wall to run all of the new wiring. In the dining room, he found a great solution to replace the existing recessed lights with chandeliers. He also unpackaged and installed the new chandeliers. Eric's work was incredibly clean and precise. It's very clear that he is and A-level contractor with a ton of experience. When he left the job, there was not a speck of dust anywhere. My wife described him as 'someone we would be friends with.' In the end, Eric actually ended up charging us less(!) than what he quoted over the phone, as he did not charge any additional for removing the wall switch (which was a lot of work.) We will absolutely call on Eric again for any future electrical work in our house.

Eric showed up on time, to the minute. He diagnosed the problem and gave me a price and promptly completed the job (happily singing all the while). He even made a run to get outlets that were a better color match for my decor. Aside from his pleasant demeanor and quite competent workmanship, Eric was also very helpful in explaining what had gone wrong and what he was doing to fix the problem. I very much recommend him and will certainly call him when any electrical problems arise down-the-road.

We called Capital District Electric to fix a bad breaker and Eric responded in a timely manner. He was quick to find the issue and fixed it in short order. While at our home, we asked about some other lighting and electrical additions we were planning to do. He provided us an overall cost for the work. Also, while at our home, we told him about a bad spot light fixture under our soffit, that we already had a replacement fixture, and asked if he could include that as part of the work we were planning. He stated he could replace the bad lighting fixture right then and there, and that it would only take a few minutes. We were surprised and delighted and Eric went straight to work on taking the old fixture off, and replacing it w/ the new unit, including bracing it securely under the second story soffit. Once we saw the care and quality of his work, we signed up for the lighting and electrical additions we discussed right then and there and agreed on a date for the work to be done. To our surprise, Eric didn’t want payment until he completed the additional work we planned to do, and that payment would be done once all the work was completed. We set the time for 10 days later. Eric arrived as scheduled with all the agreed fixtures and equipment. We did a walk through of all the areas where the work was to be done. He stated what order he planned to do the work in and set about prepping each room. At times, he’d asked questions re: lighting positions, distance, etc., to ensure we were all on the same page. Again, his attention to detail and knowledge of electrical code was great. During the course of the work, Eric ran into some road blocks (a buried junction box in a wall, wires that were crossed, etc.), but he was able to quickly correct and address these so there were no issues, and the work was done correctly. He did an excellent job, took care to clean up, ensured we were satisfied with what was done. And, his estimate was accurate too (which is rare nowadays). The improvements were worth every penny and greatly improved our day to day life in our house. Thanks Eric!
