He is everything you would want in a service provider. • He put down a pad in front of the fireplace so nothing got on our rug • He was very knowledgeable and allowed me to ask as many questions as I wanted • The cleaning was meticulous • He went through and tested everything to ensure it worked properly • When he found a problem, he explained the situation and my options, then let me decide I highly recommend Best Fire.

Jeremey was punctual and very professional. He was very neat no boots in the house, drop cloth and left the house the way he found it, We needed a new igniter which he had with him. He was familiar with our 16 year old fire place at first glance. Pleasant and informative, Would definitely use again.

Lucas was able to answer my many questions regarding the pellet stove and guided me and my husband to make a good purchase for our home. We were replacing a pellet stove that was in our home when we purchased the house two years ago that broke last year. The installers were careful to keep my carpets clean, kept me updated on their progress and reviewed use of the stove fully before they left.

They were on time and put down drop cloths on floor and covered all the furniture. Both Matt and John were very efficient and friendly. It was a complete installation including chimney pipes, gas line and power line. They insulated all of the old fireplace vents to keep house warmer. They were very neat and cleaned up completely We are very happy with the installation.

If you are not a current customer, do not bother calling. We had used Best Fire for a previous home, but when I called for service for a gas fireplace that needs service I was told right up front they do not provide service for anyone but existing customers this time of year. (the time of year one would actually use their fireplace). The gentleman on the phone was polite but offered no resolution even after I mentioned I had used them for a previous home. Guess the moral of the story is you should fire up your gas fireplace in July to make sure it will work in November. Clearly Best Fire does not want new customers. I think most people service or purchase product during the season you use it. Very disappointed in this experience after seeing they had an A rating on Angie's List.

Outstanding! Sales person at the home show as well as at the showroom was knowledgable and listened to our needs (wants). Delivery was scheduled at my convenience and was quick and painless. We certainly recommend.

It did take at least a month for Best Fire to get the specific logs I ordered, but I learned that this is unfortunately typical in the industry. The Service department was patient with my questions and kept me informed. Things in life sometimes don't go smoothly, but (from my experience) Best Fire is a company and staff you can trust.

It was several years ago so I don't remember too many details. They did a fine job and, as far as I remember, they came when they said they would. I love the fireplace - it really brings a bit of warmth to cold winter days. I hired them back in fall 2014 to clean the fireplace, and that was also a very positive experience.

Best Fire arrived exactly when they said they would, and immediately got to work. It was a pretty in depth job that required about 3-4 hours of work. Both employees were extremely professional. I was incredibly impressed by both their efficiency and also their cleanliness. They cut into sheet rock, wood, etc. and took the time to make sure they cleaned as they worked, as well as after the job was completed. We were extremely satisfied with their work and also their work ethic.

Nothing was done. Just shopping, very helpful and nice.

We replaced an Enviro Insert with the Harmon Accentra Pellet Insert. My husband and I visited the Albany showroom and were shown the Harmon Accentra Insert pellet stove on display . The salesman Tim, sat with us an explained how the stove worked, he was very knowledgeable and took his time answering all our questions. We signed all paperwork that day in november. The scheduler for installation called to let us know the stove would be installed Dec 19th. The installers showed up dec 19th at 8:30am but the fire box was too large for our opening, we were told the wrong fire box was shipped in error and they would reorder the correct fire box and call us to reschedule another appointment for installation. That saturday we received a call from Best Hearth & Patio apologizing for the mixup and gave us a 1/2 ton of pellets for our inconvienience. The scheduler called on friday Dec 26th to let us know the installers would be coming on Dec 29th. Sure enough on dec 29th the installers arrived at 8:30 and were very professional and spent the entire day installing our new Accentra Insert. They did an excellant job and spent time showing my husband how to operate our new stove. We love our new Accentra, it works just as we were told it would and would recommend Best Fire Hearth & Patio to anyone looking for a company that goes above and beyond what most other companies do.

Job was completed in one day and we are very satisfied with the installation.

The crew was very professional and helpful, laid down tarps to prevent tracking ashes around the house. They were very informative with suggestions without pressuring me to purchase extra services. I would definitely hire them again.

I called about my pellet stove. I was looking for information on how to maintain during operation and what type of yearly service I needed to do. They customer reps that I talked to went out of their way to get my the information I needed, even though they do not handle the stove type I have. If I need to buy anything stove/fireplace related, I will defintiely go back to Best Fire for my purchases based on customer service alone.

When I did get the estimate, which was fairly soon after my visit to the showroom, the price was actually quite competitive, and the person that contacted me was quite pleasant. However, I brought my business to a competitor as customer service is important to me.

Salesman gave us a quote and we put down a deposit. Salesman then came to our house to verify required components. Install team came a few weeks later to install the unit.

Left a message on 1/29/2013. Returned promptly and scheduled service for the next day. Called when promised and arrived as scheduled. Craig was extremely professional and efficient. He assessed the situation, worked quickly, cleaned everything as he went along and made sure every aspect of the fireplace was safe and working properly. He clearly knew what he was doing and did a great job.

We were extremely pleased by our initial contact with Bob Smith at the Brunswick store. He went over options with us and came to our house for measuring and planning purposes. We agreed that the pellet stove installation should take place on the same day as the fireplace screen installation, so there was a delay in waiting for the special order of the Stoll screen. We were notified of the process that we had to go through, including getting a building permit from the local building inspector. The installation actually took place sooner than we expected due to early arrival of custom parts. The day of installation went as planned except they were able to relocate the outside vent and not use a part that we had paid for. This was taken off our final bill, so the job actually cost less than the estimate. After the installation we noticed some loose insulation in the fireplace screen and soot had formed on the glass of the stove. The loose insulation was removed and the screen caulked in place, and the issue with soot formation was described as "typical". When we discussed the soot issue at the Albany store, we were pretty much blown off by the salesman there, so we called the Brunswick store to complain. Later there was a problem with the auger on the woodstove that meant the stove was inoperable on New Year's Eve. We called and got an appointment, and a technician (Maurice) came and tightened a set screw so the auger would turn properly. Maurice also went over the stove and how to clean every nook and cranny, so now we konw how to use it and what to do if the auger doesn't turn. We were very please with Bob Smith and Maurice, but some of the other workers do not deserve an "A" or "B" rating. We were also disappointed by how long it took to get somebody out to look at the stove when it wasn't working in the middle of the winter. Bob Smith was concerned about our problems, but the person scheduling the appointment was not and did not call back so we had to call a second time. Overall, the experience was positive, quality seems to be good, and appearance is great.

Excellent process. Person who came to the house to give an estimate was prompt and explained everything. Installation team showed up ontime and did an amazing job. They also explained how to use my new fireplace.

Best Fire is the only dealer that sells Stoll Fireplace doors so I had to order through them. They are custom doors. The owner is not honest and overcharges in many instances. If you work with him, you need to watch your estimate and final bill etc. He charges for every little item. He over charged me a few times. He is very pushy and controlling, quite tough to work with. After negotiating a lesser price he increased the charge of the FP doors and gave credits and said he was charging less but was in fact charging more.
