Team was great; timely, professional, patient with all our changes; did not smoke on the job; had their own port-a-potty! Cleaned up every day like it was the last day on the job.

Bennett installed a new fiberglass door and built a portico on our front entry. They were prompt and professional. The on site contractor made suggestions and did little extras at no cost just to make sure he was satisfied with the end project. I could not be happier with their performance.

This company is very professional and extremely responsive to emails and additional requests. We added in a mailbox that matched the new steps and they even were able to fix a little issue with our siding. The project took a little longer than originally thought, but it seemed to be mainly due to weather which they can not control. The job site was left clean each night and the craftsmanship was good (for as well as I can tell- I'm not an expert by any means). Dean was the main person doing the work and he was friendly to us and our dogs.

From the start to finish, the Bennett Contracting crew was awesome. They treated my house and the job as if it was their own home.

They were all very nice and they were very, very courteous. Their price was way, way too high. I am in discrepancy over the pricing right now.

Went smoothly. One person showed up both days - but the job was done well, cleanly, quietly, and professionally. We'll use bennett again.

Steve salesman was excellent informative measured accurately. Jim & Allan , crew were on time explained all aspects of the job. Project was completed on time & clean up was excellent.

It seemed to go well. They were very professional, sent out a salesman and the carpenter in advance of the job. Explained what they were going to do and made suggestions. They both seemed knowledgeable. However, within a year after the job, windows began to leak. The company responded out quickly sent out a different carpenter and said they had fired the other carpenter as they had had too many problems with his work. The second carpenter was also accommodating, but several months later rain was entering through one of the door trims. This time I did not contact Bennett, but had a local handyman do the repair.

Poorly. There is a disconnect between the person who does estimating, the supervisors who plan and direct the job and the various workers who do the work. Each one is on his own page. I found they had installed a deck-like porch in place of the appropriate looking porch that was being replaced. There were a dozen careless errors. I had used Bennett before and they were very professional, though expensive. I went with them this time (about 18 years later) because I wanted the job done right and in a timely way. I got neither. The company president did respond well to my complaints and the job was redone, but my trust in Bennett is shot. I will never use them again.

The estimator came on the same day as requested. He arrived at our home with a pre-printed statement including the description of the work to be provided, the materials that would be used, and the cost to paint the bathroom. I was taken aback that he had this pre-printed estimate considering he knew nothing of what we wanted other than to remodel our bathroom. The fact that there were prices listed for materials when there were no actual measurements of the bathroom to consider made me very wary of using such a contractor. My view point was that our bathroom is very little but could have been very large also, can the cost actually be the same regardless of size? The cost was 30% higher, if not more, than the other estimates we had received for the same work.

They did a great job. They worked on a house that we are going to sell and they had an impossible job. Nobody else wanted to touch it basically and they not only took it on, but they did a great job as one carpenter in particular that worked on it and he was the only one that worked on it and he did a marvelous job. It was on enclosed back porch that carpenter ants and some water damage that gotten into. They put new sills on and they wrapped with new aluminum because the old aluminum around was dirty looked and rough. They put new stuff on and they just did a wonderful job. I can't say anything bad about them. I would use them again.

Bennett Contracting is fine but their price is too high.

We started this project last fall, but due to the difficulty in finding the cedar appropriate for this application and then the weather caused the project to be bumped till spring of this year. Our "go to guy" with Bennett Contracting was Steve Shanholtz....a super guy! He was as particular as my husband! Each detail was worked out and professional handled. All flashing, taping weather tight...we are very happy. The actual craftsman was Joe...another very professional, knowledgeable guy! Prompt, courteous, respectful of your property, cleans up after himself....perfect!!!

They are very professional and have done great work for us. They have excellent workers and they stand behind the work that they do.

The people at Bennett are really great! They respond promptly, always show up when they say they will, are cheerful and pleasant, charge fair prices, and do excellent work.. I would definitely use them again.

They are terrific! George Griffin is the project manager who I worked with. They were prompt, excellent quality, and made in New York State. They arrived on time and worked all day to complete the job. Two years after the installation, one of the windows formed a crack. George explained that the windows were under warranty and sent someone out promptly to replace it. The energy efficient windows have saves me money on my utilities.

Very professional work. Would recommend whole heartedly, installation & wall board installation was well above average.

Mike (the installer) was incredible. I'm completely satisfied with the work. Each day I came home, the house was completely cleaned. You would never have known Mike was there. He was detail-driven.

I got a reasonable estimate, the work was finished early, and the floor is wonderful now.

The project went very well. The lead carpenter came on time on the first day, introduced himself and went through the project details. They helped us set up a temporary space to use as a kitchen and put up tarps to contain dust. Demolition went quickly, but carefully and the carpenter checked in with us every morning to make sure the previous day's work was what we expected. We discussed what he would work on that day. One of the things we liked about this contractor was that the plumber and electricians were employees so they were there as scheduled. There were several issues along the way with the way the layout had been done by the cabinet supplier that needed to be overcome. The carpenter measured everything out ahead of time and told us about the issues so we could be involved in decisions about changes. Whenever we had a concern or small change they were accepted without question and corrected. They kept coming back and making corrections and adjustments until we were completely satisfied.

Worker arrived on time, I explained some of my concerns, he told me exactly what he was going to do and gave process report.
