Railing looks beautiful and perfectly complements the patio. The railing looks exactly how I pictured it based on our agreement and sketch. Now we just enjoy the compliments from guests when we have visitors.

Most of the work was done by John, and he was awesome-very prompt, very neat and worked with us throughout the project. Plus he's a very nice person! A good thing about this company is that their employees show up on time and do their best to do the work to your satisfaction. Also, we needed a repair due to the floor installation late in the process, and there was no problem in getting it taken care of.

They were excellent. The guys came, introduced themselves and worked efficiently. They kept me informed of their progress and I would absolutely hire them again.

The window installer was responsive, on time and did quality work. He answered all of my questions and even gave me a tip for repairing the vinyl siding under my window. The windows were made by Kaskel, a local company. They were reasonably priced and seem at face value to be on par with more expensive vinyl replacements. The company clads the window frame and sill with aluminum. The aluminum is bent on site and custom fit. They did a very thorough job of sealing/caulking and insulating any gaps. The windows themselves are customized to the size of the opening after measurement, not "off-the-shelf", eliminating what could have been larger gaps between opening and window. I have two young children who are often home. The installers were professional and nice to the kids. They even seemed to enjoy some of the silliness they got from my three year old. You won't get individuals you are uncomfortable having in your house from this company. Billing is done through Bennett's Pearl St. offices. No need to fork over money to the installer upon completion. You'll be billed and have professional follow up from the office. One window was mis-measured and too small. They reordered and came back to finish up within a reasonable amount of time. I'm 100% satisfied with the installation, professionalism and price. I'd be very comfortable using them for a future project.

Great! The main contact, Kevin Gutman, was very professional and available. Whenever I called Kevin with a question, he called back promptly. The supply companies he worked with were also very professional. We had no idea how to design a kitchen but Bennett helped us with all the decisions from appliances to countertops to plumbing. Their workers were punctual and kept everything clean. They also worked hard to make sure that everything worked the way it was supposed to and, even after the job was finished, came back the same day I called to fix a minor problem with the sink. Because the work was over Christmas, we didn't get to make our usual Christmas cookies, so Dean, one of their carpenters, brought us a big tin of cookies that he made! The window job was exactly the same. Very nice workers who were punctual and made sure that every window worked well. Very positive experience!

Went to Bennett to speak to them about what I wanted to do. Bad service... The guy didn't even look like he wanted to help and asked him the price of knocking down a wall...he said around 10,000! First impression is everything!!

Estimator was very helpful and reasonable. Staff were on time, polite, very engaging and competent. Was was completed quickly.

It took a couple of weeks longer than planned due to a change in our plans about flooring but they arrived daily and worked all day, leaving the workplace neat at the end of the day. The carpenter talked to us about the work and offered suggestions but always left the decisions to us. We were very pleased with the outcome and love the new kitchen. Our calls to the project manager were always returned the same day and our questions answered.

I scheduled a time for them to meet with my wife as I was at work. The gentleman was professional and had lots of options. The deal-breaker for me is that the owner would not be doing the work personally, as he has several crews that do it. This may not be a problem for others, but I wanted a more personal service. His estimate was very reasonable and I would hire them for other types of work.

Bennet has worked for me before and they transformed an old fishing camp into a comfortable cabin. They replaced exterior and now bathroom. Bryan walked me through everything and made the experience simple and easy!

I called one week, they ordered the glass. They were here within the week. They arrived at the time they said they would and did work within time frame quoted. They were fast, efficient, and cleaned up great. Men were very courteous.

I've used Bennett in the past (and provided a review). They installed a new bow window in my living room in December 2013. The company came highly recommended by a friend. I'm glad I listened to her. The work was good. The people honest and pleasant to work with, and the price was in the middle of the three estimates I had gotten. (I didn't choose the cheaper estimate because, frankly, the salesman from that company was slimy, which wasn't the case at all with the salesman from Bennett.) When I decided to replace the rest of the windows in my house, I didn't hesitate to call Bennett Contractors. I ordered the windows in December 2013, well aware that they sometimes install windows even in the dead of winter. Fortunately, my windows weren't installed until the end of March, when the weather was much nicer than mid-February. Carl and Jim (who had also put in the bow window in December) and Joe showed up promptly at 8 AM and within a few minutes were setting up their equipment and looking over the job. They're professional, thorough and very clean -- picking up debris as they did the job, keeping my house clean and safe for them to work in. They're also easy to have around. It's important to me to feel at ease when workmen are in my home, and I wish all service people could be as nice as these three men are. There were two windows that had A/Cs semi-permanently installed in them. As per the contract, they were carefully removed and placed where I requested and when the weather gets hot, they will return to put them back in the windows. The guys did a terrific job. The windows look great. They work perfectly (and I did try them all), and as usual, where they worked in the house was left cleaner than when they arrived. I'd hire Bennett Contractors again for another job when needed.

They are very good. If I had to build a house, I probably would ask these people to do it. Their employees are professional. I was in the house all alone while they were doing the work and I never felt vulnerable at all with them being here. That is a huge thing. They do really quality work. They do not make up things to do. My husband is competent enough to know if somebody is trying to add on money or work to a job that is not necessary. They never even came close to doing anything like that. In fact, they made suggestions for us to save money. The quality of their work was good. They were punctual. I have recommended them to people in the local area. I just think they are a great business.

John was on time every day. He was friendly, professional and efficient. I would hire him (Bennett Contracting) again.

There was a bathroom leak on Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend due to some flashing that blew off the roof. Notified Kevin and on Sunday of a holiday weekend his man was here to address the problem! Great service!

Expensive, but they (Bennett) was responsive and professional.

Although they were not the cheapest, the price was fair and the appraiser eased my concerns about preventing any lead/lead dust contamination as the home is old and we have a young child. |The 2 men came on time and completed the work ahead of schedule and did a great job. |They even put a vent in and charged me nothing extra. We are very happy with the work and would hire them again. |After the work we had the house inspected for lead dust by the department of health and they verified there was no contamination.

Chuck and Larry did a great job from start to finish. They were professional and produced a fantastic finished project.

Dan , who did the actual work was wonderful. He arrived on time every day and cleaned up at the end of the day. He and Steve were responsive to questions and follow-up on concerns. Job was completed within expected time line. Six months later I remain pleased.

Over the winter snow & ice cover these steps and they become a hazard to use. Now the steps are safer to use in any weather. The cost was more than I expected, but the quality of the product and the custom installation was excellent! "You get what you paid for."

From initial estimate to follow on work, contractor was timely and professional. Quality of work exceeded expectations.

Completely gutted the bathroom. Installed new ceiling, walls, floor, tub and shower, vanity, sink, toilet,door, lighting fixture. Did all Plumbing, electrical and tiling. We have used Bennett Contracting previously to remodel the kitchen. The same installers were assigned to do our bathroom. It was a 3 week project and the work progressed as scheduled each day. Bennett Contractors has been a professional and reliable company to work with.
