The contractor they sent out was late to the appointment by five minutes because he had the wrong address written down. The appointment went just as well as I expected. He even found a problem that was easily fixed with a light switch that never worked & found that it was never connected. I was very pleased with the work itself. I received an invoice for too much labor. Turns out the contractor added 20 minutes of time that he shouldn't have charged me for when he was loading up his truck in the shop. I wasn't happy about this but the office easily corrected it. I would use them again in the future. It just took a while to get an appointment that worked with my schedule. They were professional & courteous to me.

All work (excepting carpet installation) was done by one carpenter (Dennis). He did a fantastic job in all areas. Each day he made sure we knew when to expect him the next day. Entire job took about 10 days and we could not be happier with the results. We are completely satisfied with Bennett Contractors and would definitely use them in the future.

They were wonderful. They were here when they said they were supposed to be. Their price was exactly what they quoted us and they were efficient.

I used Bennett Contracting about 8- 10 years ago to install new windows and doors and had a good experience. I recently received an energy audit and the windows and doors they installed continued to show excellent insulation value with zero drafts! So I called them up again to come back. George, the estimator, was responsive and patience via phone calls and emails. Chris and his crew were a pleasure to have around my home. They were quick, detailed and did a great job! The company as a whole were very professional. I had an issue with the door. And with time and patience it has worked out. When I was doing the final clean up I noticed a couple of dings on the glass that could potentially cause a problem. They were quick to respond with zero hassle to replace them. Yes, I recommended them!

Went better than expected. These two contractors showed up every day on time, and cleaned up at night before they left. They were very helpful with questions and concerns we had along the way. Kitchen came out beautifully.....as did the countertops - quartz and the island. All under cabinet LED lighting and tile backsplash. Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors. Looks like something out of a magazine. Would do it again with the same contracting company again.

They are the oldest firm in Albany. The job included the floors and countertops. It went very well. Scheduling the initial appointment with them was excellent. With this kind of project, there will always be problems but they finished the project as best they could. They were on time. I would tell a friend or a neighbor that they were very professional and competent. Their pricing was definitely where I needed it to be. The quality of their service was excellent.

He arrived on time, got right to work after I showed him what I wanted done. He was courteous as were the people I spoke with to set up the appointment. When he arrived, I asked if the light over the stairs could be moved to a more convenient place and he cheerfully looked into it for me. Once he was done he cleaned up after himself. All in all I am very satisfied with Bennett and I will call them again for my next job.

These guys are the greatest! They arrive ahead of time, are professional throughout the job and make sure the area is returned to the same condition by vacuuming any debris up. I've used them several times in the last year and I have never been disappointed in the service and professionalism of them!

From our very first meeting we were impressed with Bennett. They were responsive, intelligent, and punctual. They understood what we wanted to do, and had helpful suggestions all along the way. Thay handled coordination among the different trades (electrician, carpenters, framers, roofers, etc.) perfectly. There was never a delay of even one day as the work progressed. In fact, they completed the job almost a month ahead of schedule. They also made several small changes we requested as the job progressed, and did not charge us for them. Every day they finished and cleaned up the site. They even figured out a way to enter and leave the work area without interrupting us throughout the entire job. We are experienced in doing some serious home repairs (in fact, at our request, they placed wiring we later needed to remodel our old bedroom into a new master bath - a job we did on our own), and we can't say enough about Bennett's work. There was never a minute when we had misgivings about the job, or hiring Bennett to do it. We were almost sorry when they left. We had become friendly with the entire crew, and actually missed them a little when they were gone. They were a pleasure. We can't recommend them highly enough, and would be glad to speak to anyone considering using them for similar work.

They listened to my concerns and acknowledged the amount I could afford right now. They did exactly what I wanted and came in at just over what I wanted to spend, but did better than I expected.

We are very please with the end result. We only have one bath, so time was a factor. Kevin scheduled the work in a time frame that accommodated us, Ryan did a great job in the deconstruction and installation. His work was spot on and came out beautiful. It looks like a new bathroom and the entry is exactly what we wanted. Ryan was efficient and professional at all times. A very personable guy.

They were professional and worked diligently and efficiently. they did a wonderful job. I have used them before and they are well worth the money to know that they stand behind their work. I highly recommend them.

I think the details are in the paragraph above. BUT, I will say that the battle of removing screens and storm windows with which I have been dealing for over 6 years every change of season seems to be over. What a relief having these new windows will be.

I got an estimate and their pricing was competitive. They were very good. The salesman was very thorough explaining the different options. I chose not to go with this company, but they were a very good company.

Bennett contracting contacted me within hours of posting on Angie's List. Steve from Bennett came out within the week and gave us estimates on 3 different ways to complete the job. When we decided which option to go with, Shawn was at the house within days. 3 days later the steps were completed and everything cleaned up. The steps were done exactly as we wanted and has made a huge difference in entering the house. I had received other estimates from other companies but their lack of communication, ignoring emails, etc. made it easy to go with Bennett. We would definitely use Bennett Contracting again in the future. Josh, Steve, and Shawn were all professional and very personable.

I was in dire need of a contractor to install a rain diverter over my balcony. I live in a condo community and the rain diverter had to match the others. Steve, the estimator, came out earlier than scheduled and called me within a week to schedule the work day. Sean, Larry and another gentleman with Bennett were highly professional, efficient and neat in their work and in were a delight to have in my home. I hope to have the balcony screened in next year and I will be hiring Bennett to do the work. I highly recommend Bennett Contracting to home owners that want quality work done in their homes.

Everything was on schedule; they worked hard ; everyone was courteous; they got it done it was great!

The serviceman that came out was very informative and he fixed the problem and they have not charged us, so I am not sure if they are going to just keep it that way, it is simply because we have pretty much just needed two screws to fix the roof. However we did have being that has a contractor we did have another man come out from that same company to quote us on few jobs around the house and we found out to be exorbitantly expensive. I would use them in the future.

Kevin responded to my questions and gave me the estimate and then proposal promptly. He gave us reasonable explanation that due the the busy season, we need to wait for 5-6 weeks and also due the the deck will be built based on the unfinished project by previous contractor, the cost will be billed hourly instead of fixed price but will notice us when the project cap reaches 6k. We think Kevin acted professionally and honestly. He tries to help us to fix the issues and also save money. We are very happy with his service so far. Will update more after project started.
