Description of Work: We had to replace three old, dysfunctional garage doors, with a non-standard height, and hired Bennett (based on Angies' list recommendations) to redo the top framing. Pretty fast estimates, and ongoing checks on important details -- good questions and quick interaction on texts and emails. those steps saved us time and money. The individual carpenter was very professional, and skilled. A pleasure to have work on our home.

Description of Work: Terrible customer service is all I can say. Based on reviews I contacted Bennett and made an appointment for an estimate. Brian arrived on time but lost me there.. He made me feel like I was wasting his time and even asked me if I actually wanted an estimate because the job wold be expensive. I was a bit offended and taken a back but still asked him for an estimate. He took all of my contact info including my email address and told me that he would get back to me with an estimate for replacing windows and siding at my home. He also left some product brochures. That was March 28th, still no estimate and no contact with this company. If getting an estimate is this hard I can imagine how they would respond to an installation issue. Find someone else to do the job, I did.

Description of Work: Used to replace roof and windows in sun room. Excellent and detailed estimate in timely fashion - far superior to other estimates. Cost in line with other estimates. Work delay as estimate measurements redone by carpenter and order placed after 2nd measure (probably a good idea). Work done in good order and staff very accommodating & professional. Outcome very positive.

Description of Work: Bennett did a fantastic job renovating our master bedroom. They spotted the flaws in the lack of a barrier to hold insulation in place, and when replacing the ceiling with Sheetrock, they noticed poor insulation in the roof ridge vent and fixed it with a superior product. Their attention to detail and speed on the project has me inclined to make them my "go-to" renovation company.

Description of Work: I called up Bennett Inc. to have my Bay Window replaced. The wood around the window had significantly rotted. I have had this company do all my windows on my house previously and was very satisfied with them. Their representative made an appointment and showed up on time. I wanted to have the same kind of window. I was told that it was available. I received a call shortly thereafter making an appointment for the actual installment date. I was told they started work 8:30 am and they showed up exactly on time. They removed the old window from inside the house as I live in a raised ranch. I chose a vinyl replacement bay window. Jim and Kenny did a good job. It took one day and the next morning to finish and clean up. They were very professional and polite. I would consult this company again with any future home improvement issues.

Description of Work: I had a stand alone deck re-leveled and its footings were repoured. They added some additional supporting beams and as well as a support to the stairs. They also demolished two sheds and took away the resulting and other debris.

Description of Work: Took down old deck and recycled what they could, removed everything else. Workers were pleasant and concentrated on job to be done, despite the rain. Steve worked with us on price and design and we appreciated that. We are talking with them about a front entry system and expect to hear from them next week...again, rain is the deterrent

Description of Work: Installed 10 replacement windows. Bennett worked with us to stay in our budget. The product they sold is excellent. They are an A+ company all the way from the first quotes to the completed job. The installers went above and beyond to help us move furniture and other things as needed to complete the job. Other companies charge extra for these type of things. They were highly professional in all aspects.. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: We had them do windows at the office for which they were very reasonable. In regard to quotes I got for our home front door portico and some office carpentry they were on the expensive side. But I've seen their other work and it is very good if you don't mind spending the money.
