They cleaned my drain and checked 2nd drain in the kitchen.Then they checked out my A/C unit and did a check up and cleaning.Reasonably priced for a top dollar job.I would definitely recommend to my friends.
Description of Work: I needed my shower drain cleaned because it was running very slow. They also did a maintenance check on my central air conditioner.

 + -1 moreWorkers were professional and did a good job but I just can't believe how much it cost. I can't complain too much because it was my fault for not shopping around. I needed the work done asap to proceed with the kitchen install and just went with Farrell because I knew they did good work. In the end the job was well done and just wish it would've been a little cheaper for a job that wasn't overly complicated. Work ended up costing about $500-800/hr. Bottom line a quality job was done.
Description of Work: Rerouted the water lines and drain pipe about a foot to fit inside the sink cabinet. Also relocated the water meter from one side of the kitchen wall to the other. Put flex hoses in for the water lines in place of the copper lines that were there.

Description of Work: Had a plugged toilet. Called service on Thursday evening and left message for return call the first thing Friday morning. Phone rang at 7:41. Woman was very pleasant. She explained their process thoroughly and indicated that it would most likely be afternoon before they got to me but unless I heard back from her then someone would call a half hour prior to arrival. I received call at 1:55 and he was there by 2:10. The gentleman was very pleasant and professional. He fixed toilet, explained the problem and gave tips on how to avoid the problem in the future. He suggested putting in a new toilet as the new ones do not have the problem I experienced. Since I am currently selling the house I indicated I was not interested in spending money. Job was finished and he was on his way in about 30 minutes. A job VERY WELL DONE!!!! I would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Had a problem with our water heater on a Sunday morning. They called right back and gave advice over the phone and helped us get the problem fixed free of charge. They were very knowledgable and professional. Will use them down the road when it is time to have this old water heater replaced.

 + -1 moreI contacted them about the Big Deal for $99.00 hours of plumbing work which was 50% off the normal rate. When I examined the bill, they billed me and just took $99.00 off the bill and nothing was broken down between labor and parts. When I called to question, I was advised that they were a flat rate company so I do feel that the deal was not accurate. That being said, they responded quickly and I am happy with the work they did.
Description of Work: Replaced bath faucet and had to cut a hole in wall and install a service access panel. Installed a showerhead which I had purchased.

 + 0 moreappt. was set for 8am, at 815am I got a call from jake the plumber and said that he would be here in 10 minutes and at 825am he arrived. Professional and pleasant upon arrival, introduced himself, looked at the pipe and explained in detail what needed to be done prior to doing any work and gave me a price before doing any work as well. I accepted his cost and quality work was performed, it took about 1 hour to complete the work. He also gave me insight on a new high efficiency hot water tank and rough estimate for future reference. I will use this company again.
Description of Work: Replaced 3' section 3/4" copper drain pipe and replaced saddle valve for refrigerator and re-installed bonding clamp

 + 0 moreThey got solder everywhere over antiques, treadmill, freezer (all of which were not very near work area, but still in the basement). Seriously scorched walls and mouldings, not just a little mark, but very blackened wood by installation area. My biggest complaint is they unplugged my full secondary freezer to do the work, but never plugged it back in. We realized it a few days later and lost quite a lot of meat and tons of homemade baby food. I spent weeks putting up that food, not to mention the cost of the food itself. The radiators are in and functioning though, which is great.
Description of Work: Installed two hot water radiators. Decent installation job. One leaked, but they came back and repaired no charge.

The installer was very personable and he did a very neat job. Also, he took care to make sure I understood how the system functioned and what ongoing maintenance would be necessary to keep the unit running efficiently. After 48 hours we notice a difference and are very happy with our purchase and the service we received from Farrell Bros. I would be happy to recommend them.
Description of Work: Had a whole house humidifier installed on existing furnace. This was an Angie's List Big Deal.

Description of Work: Estimating date and price, because I've forgotten exactly. Can't say whether the price was high or low, because this is the first time I've ever hired a plumber. Peter blew out my kitchen drain (the most expensive part), rebuilt a bathroom faucet, and fixed the innards of two toilets.

Perhaps it could have taken less time, I really don't know, but I don't often see this degree of service and professionalism. Tyler obviously has a passion for plumbing. I had Chris come back on 11/14 to service my furnace. I only rated cost "B" because I had nothing to compare it to. These men are skilled professional, personable and trust worthy

Description of Work: Farrell Brothers serviced my heater to make sure it was in working condition for the winter. He also did some minor plumbing work like fixing a leak under the sink and replacing some pipes on the toilet.

Paul was the guy that did the work - very pleasant, professional, obviously knows his stuff. He worked very hard and ended up having to take the entire toilet apart. He provided good information on the type of toilet I had and why it was clogging so easily, and what I needed to do about it. I was very happy with the work and would definately use them again.
Description of Work: Unclogged a very clogged toilet. Paul did a great job - worked very hard, very honest.

 + -1 moreAt 9am on a Saturday morning we discovered we had an upstairs toilet leak when my husband came downstairs and walked into the kitchen and nearly slipped and fell on the wet floor. I called right away and the answering service was polite and efficient. The plumber repair person called and advised it would be a $150 surcharge for emergency service - expensive, but worth it for the water we had. He came out promptly and clearly explained the problem and repairs to my husband. There is no more leak and I am happy. This is my 2nd need to use Farrell Bros. and if I need any more plumbing help, I will use them again.
