Their visit was very good. I didn't dislike anything. It worked out good. The fellow came, he was here for about 45 minutes and went through the whole house. It's not an old house so I expected there wouldn't be any problems. He was very friendly and answered some questions. He did call about 10 minutes before he got here.

Work was very good, I felt the price was a little expensive.

Excellent. We have come to rely on Farrell Bros. for honest work, quick responses, and fair treatment. The solution proposed was low cost and prevent extensive damage. We knew what to do and what to look for in case we needed to call them back.

Prompt, professional, good install and clean up.

I had no heat or hot water, thought I had a boiler/hot water tank issue. I emailed these guys through Angie's List at about 1am on 3/14/2014. At 9:15am on Saturday, 3/15/2014 I got a call from Randy, who figured out that I was out of propane (new homeowner up here, never even entered my mind to shovel a path to the tank). Anyway, he figured out my issue over the phone and did not charge me anything!!! From now on, I not only will give them my business but I will recommend them to anyone who asks. I think they are a class act - quick to respond, courteous and very professional.

I was having a drainage problem in my basement. House never had a sump pit. Farrell Bros. had to jack hammer the floor, dig a pit down to the drain tile field, and installed a sump pit. Plumbed a drain line to the outside, and sealed the pit edge with new concrete. Excellent work. Neat and well planned. The 2 installers were very knowledgeable and excellent craftsmen. I recommend them highly.

The service was excellent. I think they are an exceptional company. I have used them twice and have been very happy. I plan on using them again in the future.

I think they did fine. They recommended I get a new thing which I did. It works. I ended up spending a good hunk of money with them and they seemed to do fine with what they did. I don't really have a complaint about them. I think they're a little on the expensive side but they're very professional, they're prompt, they come when they're supposed to that I have no problem about. I felt a little cornered about how much money I was gonna pay but they came pretty prompt and cleaned everything out. He recommended I get my basement cleaned. I have no qualms about them. There's somebody in their office that runs the place very well. The thing is running and I don't have a problem.

On a saturday, sink slowed to almost no flow. Called and was told that if I could wait 'till monday, I would save $100 in emergency charges. We decided not to wait, so within 11/2 hrs a plumber was there to do the work. Done and gone in an hour or so. They told us how to avoid the off-hours charges, so it was our choice. No drama, quick, efficient work. Not something I wanted to do, but w/full disclosure, as painless as possible.

The plumber came when he said he would. He explained what he was going to do and gave us a figure for the cost. Set up and date for doing the work--all went smoothly. He cleaned up the areas involved when he finished. We are very pleased with the outcome.

I HAD ONE ON HAND, HOWEVER, I PURCHASED THE ONE THAT THEY HAD ON THE TRUCK. IT WAS MUCH MORE DURABLE THAN THE ONE THAT I HAD. THE INSTALLER WAS VERY PATIENT AND UNDERSTANDING. HE EXPLAINED THE SITUATION TO ME SO THAT I COULD UNDERSTAND. I WOULD DEFINITELY CALL THEM AGAIN IF NEEDED. THANK YOU...

It went really well. They called before they arrived just like they said they would. The plumber was very professional and very knowledgeable. Since this is my first house i had a lot of questions and he took the time to answer all of them. Even taught me how to do a few things! Very nice, would definitely use them again.

Very professional high quality work. Took about 3days all in and came back to tweak even though they were very busy due to many service requests. Took away old units and left everything clean. Would use again.

Our A/C & furnace was leaking. They were a little pricey but it was a good experience overall.

I have purchased a service call voucher for $49 from Angieslist and scheduled an appointment with Farrell Brothers to check on exhaust blower for water heater. Eric Lawrence, a technician who came in time, looked at the blower and detached it from the water heater to diagnose the issue. The fan in the blower is making noise because of a broken piece lying down in the blower, which he refused to take out. He suggested that the water heater needs to be replaced and it was his "diagnosis". Then came the surprise. He wanted me to pay $99 for the diagnosis, though I gave him the voucher which should cover the diagnosis cost. I showed him the print which clearly states that the voucher is good for a service call which includes the diagnosis and estimate. Eric said that $49 charge is for a technician to come over not for diagnosis. I have refused to pay and he left with out suggesting alternatives to replacing the water heater. After some research on the internet and talking to some friends, I was able to buy a new exhaust blower for $120 and replace it myself.

Explained several things. They found pipes that needed work and it has proved true over the winter. I really respected the person who inspected my whole house.

The technician was very nice and professional. The bill was rather high, but I think it was the going rate for this sort of repair.

Fixed a bathroom sink drain that that was running slow because of years of soap buildup. Also fixed the elbow below the sink. It was leaking because a pipe was too short from when it was installed. Also checked out the bathtub drain to ensure that it wasn't running slow too. The sink is working fine now.

I used a coupon that I purchased on Angie's list for $50 to pay half of the $99 service call charge and the part cost $250 installed. The new pump corrected the problem and everything went very smoothly. The original pump was hard wired to the furnace but he disconnected it and replaced it with a pump that would plug into the same outlet that the humidifier plugs into. Should the pump fail sometime in the future, it would be easy for me to pick one up and replace this pump. Hopefully, I will never have to do that.

Ordered big deal, never heard from provider. I guess I will not be ordering any other big deals in the future.

He replaced the piping and offered to replace the cold water piping at a discounted rate even though there is no issue. He also looked at my boiler and tankless heater saying it needed to be replaced which was accurate. However, I did get a second opinion and ending up going with another company.

The initial call to Farrell Brother's was answered by a friendly, helpful woman who was able to send someone out to my house to address the problem. It was a busy, cold Saturday so it was understandable that it took them a few hours to get out to my house. Adam was very helpful and professional. He was able to replace the faulty release valve that was leaking water. It had accumulated deposits and wouldn't shut off. Also, he tackled trying to remove air that had accumulated within the pipes running through the baseboard heating system throughout the house. Given the fact that it's baseboard heat and how the pipes run to the boiler, it wasn't exactly an easy task. In total he was at my house for a couple hours. Adam also fielded my questions regarding other aspects of my heating system and was more than willing to provide advice and suggestions.

Unclog drain. Spent the time but left it messy in the basement and left the faucet loose upstairs.
