Farrell Brothers replaced a 3 year old furnace that had been installed incorrect thereby ruining the furnace. They were on time, their price was reasonable and their people were personable and took time to explain the process and showed care and expertise in their work.

Everything went smoothly. I believe the parts used are high quality and the workmanship good. They seem to be reliable and handy in a pinch. The only thing I go back and forth on is their pricing. Farrell charges flat rate prices. So to fix X they charge Y and while that's very good if the job becomes more complex, it can be a tough pill to swallow when the job takes only 10 minutes. So while I'll still use them in most cases because of their experience level and professionalism. If you're looking to have a few simple things fixed consider getting quotes from another plumber who charges parts and labor. it may work out to your benefit to go that way.

Zack did a really good job. He fixed the clog in my hot water line and he installed my outside faucet. He also snaked the mainline the best he could but that ended up needing to be replaced. I worked with randy, the owner, on the main line replacement and he was very pleasnt to work with. I could not afford this out of pocket so he helped me get financed. Overall not a bad experience. Will use them in the future.

Problem solved! Repairing the damage, we'll get to that :) There's a lot of water damage because it took so long for the water to get through the wallpapered ceiling, so we'll have to dry it, treat the mold, and put up drywall (plumber suggested someone within his company for that work). I was very pleased with how quickly the plumber was able to come on a Saturday, he was there about an hour after I called. He was professional, efficient, and found and solved the problem. I think the price charged was fair. He also told me he had noticed that the previous owners used cleaning tablets on the toilets and said we shouldn't do that, as it can cause internal damage. Said that the toilets would be likely to need to be replaced or repaired at some point in the near future, and gave us a ballpark figure for how much we should expect to pay for that. I also asked how much it would be to replace sinks in our upstairs bathrooms and he gave me a ballpark figure there too (not asking for real quotes, just wanting to have an idea for future budgeting).

This was excellent! The gentleman that represented the company was very thorough and very informative. The inspection showed we did not need any repairs but he did give us some suggestions for what we should and shouldn’t use.

Their communication has been good so far. Scheduling the deal was no hassle. As far as I know, I do not expect additional fees. They are coming out tomorrow to do the work.

It went well. We purchased the inspection/service on Angie's list for $99. They technician was prompt and professional. He suggested recharging the refrigerant for an additional $160. We deferred to his expertise and agreed to do so. We were very happy with his work.

We just bought an 1890s house that has hot water radiators. We noticed that the furnace was coming on every 30 minutes to keep our domestic hot water hot. We contacted Farrell Brothers to inquire about separating our domestic hot water from our furnace. Randy came out the next day and gave us an estimate. The next week they came and installed the hot water heater. They were very professional, showed up when they said they would, worked diligently and were more than happy to answer an questions we had. The did an excellent job! We will definitely be contacting Farrell Brothers for any future jobs that may arise.

Discovered water heater needed to be replace ASAP. Got it done by local neighborhood contractor in July.

We purchased our home approx. one month prior to the service and realized it had been over 5 years since the last service was performed on the system. Needless to say, we were expecting to find some issues when we had a service done. I found Farrell Bros. through Angie's List and purchased a coupon for the system service which was made the service half price. Farrell Bros. called me the next day and was very flexible with scheduling the date/time of service. On the day of the service the technician CJH called a half hour prior to give me a heads up and make sure I would be at home. CJH was extremely professional and thorough with everything.. He took his time to go through the entire system explaining the components and their condition to me , assuring me that everything was in good condition. He showed me how to change the filter and explained how often it should be changed. CJH was also wonderful with our dog who is usually overly excited to see new people. Overall, the level of value and professionalism I experienced with Farrell Bros. from the office staff to the technician was excellent. I will absolutely be using this company again for all my heating/cooling needs.

The first time they came they did a standard maintenance service and indicated that the system was working fine. I had called them because the unit in one of the bedrooms was not functioning. He said all units were functioning properly and charged me $100. The next time I used the system - a couple of weeks later - it still wasn't working. I called them and told them that they had improperly diagnosed the a/c problem and would they please look at it again and correct their error. They returned only after I agreed to pay and additional $100 despite it being their error and notified me that the there was a damaged compressor and that they would need to order the part. I notified them that we needed it soon if possible because we had another guest coming and the unit was in the guest room. They said they should have it within a few days if they could locate it and would get back to me. I waited several days and then called them back and they had obviously completely forgotten it. They said they would take care of it right away and again told me they would get back to me. This went on for another week and as they didn't get in touch with me again I hired another company, who made the call to investigate the problem - without charge. And within a couple of weeks they located a compressor and have since fixed it.

After buying a deal on Angies list and setting up an appointment it was fine. Zack showed up within the assigned time and checked the central a/c unit out. The only remarkable thing was the coils were really dirty full of pollen an dust and he said he was amazed it was cooling as well in the house. He suggested a yearly check up for the A/C system.

The guy was harping about some kind of a coupon he wanted but other than that, they did a reasonably good job. Everything was well set.

There wasn’t any problem with the work that was done but I wasn’t happy with the price as I had called and asked them about buying the coupon beforehand and they indicated the Big Deal would cover the drain cleaning. The plumber put the snake down the drain a couple of times so there was an extra cost due to having to put the snake down the drain multiple times; this basically doubled the price. He wasn’t here very long. I could have a different plumber complete the work for a lot less.

Nick & Mike showed up on time, they were very professional and answered all our questions, provided suggestions. We felt they were very knowledgeable. We will use them again in the future. Thank you

Apparently the air conditioning still wasn't working and they were unable to determine that. I was told it was working and it was not.

It was fine. He was thorough and on time. There were no issues. The price was reasonable.

I had used Farrell Bros. in the past for plumbing issues and to service my furnace, and A+ service is what I got. Latest work, I had a tech to come service my central air system and he recommended it be replaced - reasonable, it was more than 15yo. The unit came in promptly and they scheduled the install right away, about a week or so later. Job went to heck from there. Suffice to say that what I was originally told would be a 6 to 7 hour job turned into 2 and 1/2 days, roughly. They showed up late the first 2 days, couldn't get the thing in one attic entrance (& dinged my woodwork & put a small hole in the wall trying) and broke my pull-down steps getting it into the second attic entrance, this is after I told them I thought the steps wouldn't be safe to use for something that heavy and the men to boot. They did fix the steps on the 3rd day they were here. These are just the main problems - there were some other more minor things that would take too long to get into. The owner Randy was very good about coming to check the job out after I was told that someone would have to come back a third day and worked with me to make everything right. I do understand that it's difficult to work in my attic and that things go wrong on jobs - but it was just one thing after another here. All of that said, I will use Farrell Bros. in the future - for heating & plumbing. I'm on the fence on whether I'll use them for the central air in the future. A colleague who uses Farrell Bros. for his rental units says that it was likely the tech who gave me the quote & ran the job the first 2 days, because all of his experience with Farrell has been excellent. And as I said, Randy was great about handling my issues with the job.

appreciated that!I had an emergency plumbing issue and when I called they not only responded promptly, they did not quit until the problem was solved. When the first gentleman arrived and could not fix the problem he called for back-up and heavier equipment. When the two of them could not fix the problem, they called in for a third man to come the following morning. He was able to clean out the pipe and solve the problem and also told me what to do for the future to avoid drainage problems. Despite the mess and humid weather, not to mention the smell in my basement, these guys worked tirelessly to get the job done. They were never rude or unprofessional. They were considerate in using the back door so as not to track any dirt through the house and I This company sets the standard for all others when it comes to customer service, punctuality, professionalism and quality of work. They have been to my home on other occasions for furnace problems and the experience was the same. I cannot thank them enough for being there when I needed them. I referred them to my neighbor who will also be calling for her furnace issues.

They arrived as scheduled and performed most of the work during the first visit. I had to call them back for a disposal that was leaking due to not being installed properly. For the tub faucet, the first attempt at install leaked, so the installer got some new parts. Even though it took extra trips to the hardware store and extra time, they honored the original quote. That being said, the original quote did seem very expensive.

A coupon was presented on Angie's list which Farrell Brothers honored. I wrote to them about a clogged drain. They called back within 24 hours and recommended that we use them on a weekday instead of a weekend :) They arrived to fix the drain at the appointed time. They charged me exactly what I expected, and even went the extra mile to fix a slow drain that we didn't ask them to fix.
