Description of Work: Replaced all baseboard heaters and thermostats in every room. Replaced any bad or burnt wires. Added a baseboard to a bathroom which never had one in there. Ran a dedicated line from the electrical box to our main air conditioning unit, installing a new outlet. Ran a new line in the basement so we would have lights to turn on from a switch instead of going down to the the basement in the dark and fumbling for light strings. Added two electrical outlets to the outside of the front of the house (So now we have outdoor outlets) and one to the outside rear of the house.

Description of Work: I was investigating alternative energy sources for our sailboat including solar and wind. For years I had been putting off this upgrade because of the difficulty and expense of installing redundant energy systems on sailboats--since everything is close quarters, hard to reach and ultimately subject to the forces of nature. On sailboats your batteries and motor provides the power necessary to support all lights, electronics and engine starting and the way you keep batteries charged is to run your engine which is noisy, smelly and uses expensive fuel. I had done my research on alternate power sources and selected solar. One of my fellow boaters had used a company named Bee Secure to install complex radar and solar power and the installation went very well I was told. I contacted Bee Secure and they guided me through what I needed tp purchase, they sized the solar system to meet my needs and described the installation process. Boats have a mix of AC/DC electrical systems and literally dozens of wires running in small traces to numerous sources. I hate when we need to make entry points in boats because of the fear of water instrusion. I will say that the installation though complex, difficult and challenging went without a hitch. It did not drag on like so many boat projects. When Bee Secure arrived on the scene they did the installation in one visit not leaving me with unconnected wires and an unusable boat. I have been through many boat upgrades and most are quite frankly nightmares with less than satisfactory results. Within a short time I was able to use our new solar system and for the rest of the season and from now on never have to rely on fossil fuel to keep our electrical system operating. I will call on Bee Secure in the future for all my boat or household electrical needs.
