Ado Construction

It didn't go - I called Angies list and got their number and left them a message and never heard from them - I already paid you so I need to have my money refunded back to Pay Pal please, thank you.

This is literally theft; don't fall into the trap of buying any Ado Construction service. Despite repeated calls, Admir Ibralic (owner?) continued to ask me to call back later or didn't answer. I left multiple messages that were never returned. Two months later I still haven't gotten any work scheduled, nor even received a call.

None responsive......I want my money back. Since paying for this service, contractor has made ZERO effort to contact me. When I was able to connect with him to set up a date that was the last time I heard from him. There was no other follow up or response to email/texts.

Didn't do work despite repeated attempts to contact him to come out and perform services that were purchased.

The actual job went very well. The person doing the work was efficient and thorough, cleaned up after himself, and guided me through an inspection of the work. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing this service in the Capital District of New York. My home is actually not in that area, so involved a longer drive. Communication was difficult, and scheduling an appointment was hard, as well. A text or a phone call whenever it was not possible to keep an appointment would have helped. It took about six weeks from order to completion. For the work itself, I give this company straight A as a grade.

He was a very nice man. He tried very hard. He is a huge man. He is almost 7 feet tall. The space that he was working in is very, very tight. I had to call him back. He installed things upside down. He had to come back which he did without any complaints. I realized everything had been installed upside down so I called him. He said he would be right back which he did. He redid everything and it turned out well.

Never did. Initially I had to reach out to them and eventually was returned an email. Someone called and there was a bit of a language issue but we had what I thought was an appt set up but no one showed. Never heard anything for weeks and now it has been going on for months and I asked for my money back but have not heard anything.

Ado came when he said, was flexible and did a great job!

Admir was punctual and spent some time doing a thorough job. I do not hesitate to recommend him.

It went well. Cleaned the mildew off the house on siding. Would like a receipt after work completed though.

Once we finally connected after i purchased the package online, an appointment was set to complete the work. The cost was fair and work was done well. I'd hire again.

Fantastic - professional - went above and beyond to make sure the installation was perfect.

I want a refund. No one called me for several days. I finally reached out to them to schedule a date. They promised to get back to me but never did. Unacceptable.

I have not heard back from them to schedule it.

House was not completely cleaned. Especially around the peaks and rear of house. Hard to contact person.

Came on time, did the work quickly and efficiently. Well done.

Ado Construction came initially to do the work. Within a week I contacted him again because some of the caulk was coming off. He did come back and re-caulked again. The second time around was not any better. Caulk is continuing to come off and "ribbon". Very disappointment with the quality.

Ado arrived this week, and as he started the deck my husband & I realized that the lattice that is screwed onto the bottom of the deck needed to be replaced. He agreed to do it so I left to go & purchase the materials. I did not see Ado start to stain the deck but when I returned, I mentioned that the stain I bought was darker than the one he was putting on the deck. It looked like the same color it had been. I needed to leave again, and when I returned I got to see him finish the 2nd coat of the deck. He was using a roller. He had also finished putting the lattice on. My husband mentioned to him that the 8 foot piece lattice wasn't straight. Ado said something to the fact that the ground was uneven there. He finished, we paid him the 425. for painting the deck & 100. for the lattice. As soon as he left, I got my husband's screw driver and removed the uneven lattice and screwed it in straight on the deck as the old one had been originally. The next day I went out on the deck and noticed many spindles were only half stained and those that were stained, were stained unevenly. I was stressed. My husband has been ill, so I hired this guy to take some of the strain off of myself, since I now have to do most jobs around the house. I called Ado and told him what I found and that the job was not done properly. He said sorry and that he could come back. I told him no. I did not want the same type of stain job done again. I started to stain the deck myself today. First, I went to open the 3 gallon stain can, and Ado had never opened it to stir the stain before application. To open this particular stain you have to remove the plastic strip from around the entire diameter of the pail. The strip was still on the pail. He just poured it out of the hole on top which the paint store uses to add color. When I opened the can, there was about 2 inches of oil on top- which means when Ado poured it into his paint can, he got very little color of the stain, mostly oil. Who paints or stains without mixing the can first? I learned that when I was 12! That was the reason, the color was the same on my deck. As I started to satin my deck, the color was about 5 shades darker than the color Ado put on. I worked 10 hours, just doing the spindles. As I went from one to the other, I was amazed at how sloppy and inconsistent this man applied our stain. He missed spots on just about every spindle. To add to this nightmare, my husband knew I was stressed and out on the deck staining, so he did not call me when he needed help, and he took another fall and got injured. I am really upset. Ado discussed getting this type of oil based (emulation) back in June. I purchased it and he, firstly, should have known to stir it and secondly, he should have known how to apply it. We did not get a $400.00 paint job that's for sure! Ado was great as a handyman but beware of any paint jobs you hire him for. Make sure you are there to supervise from beginning to end.

Best deal ever! They called to confirm the appointment, then arrived ten minutes early, which is great. I can't tell you how much time I've wasted in the past waiting for contractors to show up. The vinyl siding on the south side of this two-story house was covered with algae all the way up to the peak of the roof. Now it's sparkling white. Ado was thorough and neat. I would hure him again in a minute to do other work on the house.

I was unable to discuss the details of the work beforehand as the provider's cell phone is of extremely poor quality with a tremendous amount of static, making it impossible to have a conversation. On the day the work was to be done, the provider did not arrive at 9 am as scheduled nor did he call to say when he would be coming. He called back after I left a phone message and an email and he came to the house at 12:45pm. He did not have water on his truck and said that his hose was not long enough to wash the entire house as our house is too big. I was okay with him using the house water and our hose. However, when I wanted to be sure that he would be able to power wash the entire house, he indicated that it was only $175 and that I should call Angie's List and ask for my money back. I informed him that we had purchased the service for $175 through Angie's Big Deal and that I would call Angie's List to request a refund.

I spoke with the the handyman and he told me he would stop by my home the following afternoon. I gave him my phone number and address, but he never called back.

Admir arrived when he said he would, we went over the project, and it was done quickly easily. He even fixed a bathroom cabinet door while he was there, even though we hadn't discussed this previously. I would definitely recommend Ado Construction.

Contacted Admir today and asked if would pressure wash my shed that had substantial mildew. He returned my call and came over that afternoon with his equipment. He warned me that due to the amount of mildew it would not completely come off. I asked him to do the best that he could. He was conscientious, he removed the shutters, and got as much off as he could. I would hire him again.

The work was completed as expected. Only reason I won't use the service again is because I am moving.
