Excellent job.

The work exceeded expectations. Estimate was done in timely fashion and submitted in a clear, understandable and professional format. The Acme team arrived on time and immediately went about their work. It was clear from the "get go" they were experienced and knowledgeable about their job. Set up was done with the owner's needs in mind for example the placement of trailer with equipment was done in a manner that owner continued to have ease of access to home. Rugs removed and floors sanded on days 1 and 2. Dust was contained completely. Coatings applied on days 3 and 4. Polyurethane was used. Flooring ready on day 6. All members of the work team were professional and also personable and friendly. There was no wasted effort in time or materials and they paid attention to detail. This is a very hard working team that takes pride in their effort and work.

From the first estimate, Anthony was very professional and detailed in describing exactly what would be done. The job began about a month after we agreed to the work and it took almost two weeks to complete, as it was a very large job. Anthony and Pascal worked with a larger crew for the demo work, but did the installing themselves. They did an excellent job of keeping us informed of the progress and we dealt with issues like the compromised subfloor as they came up. The floor looks beautiful, we couldn't be more pleased with the results! Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely use Acme Wood Floors if we need there services in the future and recommend them without hesitation.

It was excellent. They were very professional. They gave me a date that they would be there, they were there, and they did a great job. They were very courteous and very polite. When they say they are going to be there, they are which was very important for me because it would have held me up, costing me money, if they didn’t but they did. They were just very professional and pleasant. They were excellent in addressing my questions.

They did an excellent job on our floors. The price was fair, they use up to date products and techniques, they are prompt- had our family back in the house that evening. Anthony and his brother are easy going, pleasant guys to have around. Will definitely use them again to refinish the other floors in my house.

Actually as the finish looks so bad, I am paying another company to redo the floors. Less than 6 months after having the floors done i am so disappointed in the quality of the work.

Acme Wood Floors LLC came in very kindly, we had tried to do the floor ourselves and found that we couldn't so he came in got the work done so we could move back in our house. The products that he used were very low odor so we didn't have to evacuate our house at all, we have a lot of radiators and he was able to get under them, he did a fine job. He was very personable and easy to talk to. There were a few things that left me disappointed. We have an old floor and he had said that he could fill in the cracks and when all was said and done, he said the floors would look bad if he would have filled in the cracks but I wish that he would have perhaps offered a different option or if there was any other technique, even if it would have cost us more money because there are gaps and holes in the floor. There were knots in the wood that had come off and although we have sanded the floors in the past, we have never had that problem and he said that he did. Those are kind of the finished product that we were left with so it was disappointing. The price was fair and reasonable compared to quotes that we have got in the past. I would definitely use them again because I have met them and they have done work for us and he was here on time everyday, so he is someone you know you can call and he will do the work for you.

Acme and Anthony Littlejohn are the best in the Capital District for flooring, bar none. I called on a Saturday morning for quotes and received three that day. I also spoke to two others on the phone who wanted to come out later in the week. Of the three I met, no others would personally do the work themselves nor had they had the air-filtration machine to clean the dust as it was being created while sanding. One older gentleman told me I would have to swifter the walls after the refinishing was complete. Another person told me his crew, and not him, would be doing the work. Of the three, Acme came in competitive with one other, while the third was much higher. After including the 10% coupon from Angie's List, Acme's price was the winner. Coupling the price with a knowledgeable owner-operator and a clean, dust-free house was clearly the only choice. As promised, work started on the following Thursday with the sanding, followed by buffing on Friday and two coats of sealer. The coat of poly was applied on Saturday morning since this worked best for my schedule. Fifty years of uncovered oak floors sparkle today with a high gloss done by a professional.

They seemed very nice. I didn’t use them because the price wasn’t about what I wanted to spend. They quoted me about a couple of thousands for the job. The pricing was normal and reasonable for the floors but it was more than I could spend. So I didn’t do anything with the floors. I recently bought this house and I didn’t like the floors because it had an antique look. I was hoping to do something to it. But both people that came out to look at it said that there was nothing that they could do with it except to replace the entire floor. My experience with them went well. They weren’t rude or anything and they were fine. They were prompt.

Anthony and his brother did a fantastic job refinishing the hardwood floor in the kitchen and dining area. They used dustless sanding and a quick drying, low odor top quality finish that allowed the job to be completed in a day and half with very little disruption to the household for an elderly couple. They were prompt and worked quickly and efficiently, and finished earlier than expected. The work area was left very clean and virtually dust free. They were friendly and considerate, very professional, and highly knowledgeable about their craft. We were amazed how beautiful the floor turned out. We are very satisfied with the result and highly recommend Anthony and his team and their quality workmanship.

They were extremely knowledgeable about the flooring options available and price was competitive. They were punctual, honest about potential issues with the home and finished the job quickly and efficiently to accomodate other contractors scheduled to do work before we moved into a new home.

WHEN WE HAD A PROBLEM, THEY CAME BACK AND FIXED IT RIGHT AWAY. THEY WERE THE BEST QUOTE THAT WE GOT FOR THE JOB. THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS MEDIUM. IT WASN'T FANTASTIC, BUT IT WASN'T THE WORST.
