Able Asbestos was considerate and professional. The owner very carefully explained how he could safely remove the asbestos at a very good price. They worked hard and completed the job exactly as described. I appreciated using a local contractor as this afforded more flexibility and made me more confident in their quality. I am so relieved knowing that the asbestos is gone and was removed appropriately.

Never ended up working with this company. I called during business hours to schedule a quote, but got voicemail. I left a message, but did not receive a phone call. I called again about a week later and spoke to someone. They took down my information and said they would call back to schedule an appointment. It's been over a month and I still have not heard back. I have since hired another local company who finished the job a week ago.

Excellent! I called them and set up an appointment for him to review and give me an estimate. He performed the work when I wanted (within 2 weeks of giving me the estimate). They did it in 3 nights (they came after work hours so I could be home). They were very clean-they cleaned up after each night of work. They were all professional and accommodating! I highly recommend this business!

Fantastic. Dean came and gave me an estimate after looking through the whole basement to properly wrap and encapsulate all the asbestos piping and he said he would remove the asbestos in some areas if needed. He did not give me the lowest price but I believe he was the best value. He and his crew arrived exactly on time when scheduled and provided an effective and efficient job. He mentioned that there was some damage beyond the originally pointed out areas and he and his crew proceeded to take care of everything. Even on the way out he saw an area that probably would have been ok but insisted on re wrapping this spot noticed at the last minute. In addition, he and the crew also secured the horsehair areas of the piping to ensure we would never have to work on these pipes again, which was not something we had included in the pricing or even discussed. As previously a contractor myself (although not in this field) , it is rare when you hire someone who does the job and takes the initiative and the time to go above and beyond . By the way, the quote for the job was for everything so he and his crew did approximately 50% more spots without asking for any additional money. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for both the quality of the job and the professionalism of the crew, not to mention how personable they all were. If spending money on something like this can be a pleasure then this was it. Kudos.

Appointment was set for estimate of job but was cancelled due to emergency - waited a week and called back - gentleman was very apologetic - his emergency had taken him out of town - once contacted, he came over that day and gave me an estimate and the work was completed the next day - I had contacted two other contractors; one called back several days later and I never got a call from another contractor - I would highly recommend Able - they were polite, professional and cleaned up after

workers arrived promptly as scheduled and completed work in a timely fashion. They not only did their job efficiently but also removed all materials.Excellent job.

On 4/2/2012, I left a message asking for a call back regarding asbestos removal in my house. I received no response. I spoke with the owner, Dean, on 4/20/2012. He told me he would 'have somebody come over' Tuesday, 4/24/2012, between 545-600 PM. No one showed up. No one called. I called and left a message regarding the missed appointment. Nobody called me back. Can't comment on their work, but their responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism are all lacking. I shall now rant: Why is it so hard for contractors to return phone calls? Why is it so hard for them to show up when they say they will?
