Bill Leiker responded to my call quickly in March when we took ownership of an older house that had good bones and needed a lot of TLC. I was impressed with the depth of positive comments from references who described how great their work really is. (Now, I am another on that list.) The work was several big projects, including a gut job on the bathroom and kitchen that had him removing a partial wall separating our kitchen from the dining room to create an open plan, replacing old electrics, replacing all molding, moving door jams, insulating walls, installing new kitchen cabinets from Kitchen World (which are great), and overseeing the work of the hardwood floor sander team, plumber, and licensed electricians. In the bathroom, they removed 7,000 lbs. of lath, tile, plumbing, and materials from our 1940 original bathroom and created a beautiful new one that really complements the period of our house. I'm glad to share pictures with anybody and have attached several before, during and after pics of the kitchen here. His prices are fair, especially considering the quality and added work they do without gripes or surprises. And moreover, Bill's team are dedicated; they show up at 7:30 and work with a professional demeanor. They clean up before going home and took care of a few extra smaller projects that I had on my 'to-do' list as a surprise, which made me feel great. His team gives the rare kind of service that shows they care about how you'll live in the space after they complete the work. I'd recommend his work wholeheartedly and would hire him again tomorrow.

Virchau came and replaced shingles and sheathing on one part of the roof. They were very friendly, did a great job and cleaned up the mess each day.
