Description of Work: I would like to retract my previous positive report. I have left numerous messages for this individual over the last 10 days or so, hoping to purchase more firewood. None of my messages were returned. This is inexcusable, and I am sorry if my previous positive review caused anyone to waste their time trying to contact this man. Perhaps he is dead. If so, someone should probably change the answering machine message.

Description of Work: I had contacted this gentleman and ordered two cords of firewood. A date and time (est) of delivery was given. The wood was NOT delivered and a message was left on his answering machine. There was no response. Several subsequent attempts were made...no one answered the phone. The last attempt made was with a voice message. Again no resonse. I would not even attempt to use him nor would I recommend him to anyone. I

 + -1 moreAlthough the listing reported that he does not service in our area, I found that he would deliver wood to us. There was no problem; we covered tolls. He delivered to us in Westchester County. He delivered on Saturday on time.
Description of Work: We needed firewood for the winter. Nick responded and delivered a cord of seasoned split firewood.

 + -1 moreHe called back promptly and scheduled a delivery for the following Saturday. He had to cancel at the last minute but asked if he could come Sunday morning instead. I asked him to come at a certain time and he complied. We were very pleased with the quantity and the quality of the wood and will certainly order from him again. I have already recommended him to my next door neighbor.

 + -1 moreHe called me right back and made an appointment for two days later. It seems for the first time in a while I have actually gotten a full cord of wood. All the wood is of good quality as well. HE let me inspect it before I paid, and I have never seen wood this good.
