After some difficulty dealing with another agent, I was a bit uptight and frustrated. Mike responded quickly to my initial call and behaved like a professional real estate agent thereafter. We had an initial meeting to discuss what I was looking for. He then sent me a list of houses that met my requirements. I picked a few out and he drove me around to look at them. Because I am new to the city, I needed help understanding the local real estate landscape, and Mike helped me with that. When I chose a house upon which to place an offer, he advised me on issues of pricing and negotiation. After the offer was accepted, he guided me through the rest of the process. Mike clearly knows how to do his job. He is an experienced professional. In addition, I enjoyed his laid-back manner. Buyers and sellers (myself included) can get a bit, well, tense, during these big transactions, and having a calm, unhurried, unruffled professional around is reassuring and helpful.
