TruGreen Lawn Care - 5088

I have a contract for lawn care. They tend to upsell their services quite a bit. I have tried to cancel before as well and they give a very hard sell. Another negative thing right now is that they come and do their treatment, and it might not be your watering day. The chemicals have had a negative effect on the lawn because I was not able to water it in. If I had thought about it, I should have called to alter the application date. However, since this is a city wide policy, one would think that they should be sensitive to this and superb customer service would be foreseeing this and altering the schedule for the customer. This is not superb customer service, but it does insure the right stuff gets on at the right time.

Got a neat 10% off coupon in the mail, called them up and asked about thier services. They said that you have to buy 6 services at a time, if you pay all at once you get a discount. They recommend lawn service every 2 months, so this is effective for the year. I explained that Reno doesn't need lawn service all year round. They again told me the only way they sell services is in 6 service packages, but that I could work one on one with the lawn specialist to have them come more often since Reno doesn't need lawn care all year round. They said there was no way to only try the service one time to see if you liked it first. Seemed fishy, but I've seen thier name all over the place, so I bit. What a lousy decision on my part! AFTER giving them my credit card number on the phone, they told me "someone would contact you in 7 days to arrange to meet you and do a walk through of your yard". It's been 8 days now, nobody has emailed or called. Did I mention they already billed me for ALL 6 services 7 days ago?? Frustrated, I called thier customer service line today. After listening to approximately 4 minutes of pre-recorded sales pitch it hung up on me. Tried again, I called, same exact thing. Thier ONLY customer service line hung up on me. Twice. Never got anyone to even pick up from the pre-recorded sales pitch. I emailed them, no response. That neat 10% off coupon you get in the mail? Toss it!!! TERRIBLE customer service, did not keep thier word.

I found TruGreen through a ValuPak coupon. We were having problems with brown spots and insects. The guys were always punctual and were always available for questions. Half way through the year not much had changed; really green spots with areas of brown spots. When I called to complain that it wasn't really working, they responded the next day and found we had grubs. They did two more treatments for grubs but that was near the end of the season. We decided to sign up for another year because we did start to see positive results so the story will continue this year. Give them a try, it will help!

We have the treatments done five times a year. I think the price is right and your lawn is getting fertilized properly and their goal is to get your lawn as healthy as possible...keep out various diseases and weeds. The're very thorough...they fertilize our trees once a year. They are a full service company in that they do everything to help the plants and the lawns themselves..they don't do the mowing. We're very happy with them. They're good about calling a couple of days before to tell you the service man is coming and they go ahead and bill you after the fact which is nice.

I am very satisfied with them. I will continue using them in the future.

They were terrible! We asked for them to call us before they came out and they would still show up without calling. Their spider treatment did not work and I had to call another company to fix it. Their timing on seasonal services was not on time

I have used them for 2 of my homes and I have been using them for years. The best thing about them is the products and they are the best I have ever used. I get a lot of discounts from them and they come at their own schedule. They come once a month themselves, fertilize the lawn and leave. There are two different groups, one in Florida and the other in Mississippi and both of them render the same service. The only problem with the Mississippi crew is that they are not as punctual as the crew in Florida. I will use their services in future.

It took 2 months to try to stop the account and I?m still getting passed due notices. I?ve made at least 10 calls to them between May and present. In early July, I spoke with a woman who said the account was closed with a $0 balance. The following Saturday, I received another passed due notice, including a late charge. I called again this morning to request the $0 balance in writing.

We feel that TruGreen should stick to cutting the grass and, if they see a bird's nest in a tree, do not chop the tree down.

True Green always calls first and is always very courteous. I have never had one problem with them. The men they send are always friendly and personable and they always also give a follow up call to make sure I was pleased with their service.

Someone said they would call back, and they didn't.

Too soon to tell. Friendly enough and seem to know what they are doing. Was not impressed with speed of service, but could be quite busy after this heatwave.

THIS COMPANY IS OUTSTANDING WITH THEIR WORK. IT S THE ONLY LAWN SERVICE I USE. THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME TO MY HOME. THEY SHOW RESPECT AND ANSWER ANY CONCERNS I MIGHT HAVE. THE WORKERS THE COMPANY SENDS OUT TO MY HOME ARE VERY FRIENDLY.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY IMPROVED MY LAWN A LOT. THE LAWN LOOKS GREAT. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND GOT THE JOB DONE VERY QUICKLY. THEY ARE POLITE AND COURTEOUS. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY.

THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME. THEY ARE FRIENDLY AND NON ASSUMING. THEY KEEP THE WEEDS AND PESTS AWAY FROM OUR YARD AND HOUSE. FROM TIME TO TIME, I HAVE TO REMIND THEM TO TRIM THE BUSHES. OTHERWISE, THEY DO A GOOD JOB.

THEY ARE VERY CONSISTENT; THEY COME ON TIME EVERY MONTH. I WAS ALSO VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE FACT THAT THEY CALL EVERY OTHER WEEK TO ASK IF I NEED ANY OTHER SERVICES.

THIS IS A REALLY GOOD COMPANY. I'VE BEEN USING THEM FOR YEARS. THE ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE IS, THAT EVEN IF THEY DON'T COME OUT EVERY MONTH THEN I STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIR SERVICES.

THEY ARE A DEPENDABLE COMPANY. IT IS VERY EASY TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THEM. I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE PEOPLE THEY SEND TO MY HOME. THEY COME AND SPRAY OUR LAWN IN NO TIME AT ALL.

THEY WORK WITHIN MY SCHEDULE. HOWEVER, THE LAST CREW THEY SENT OUT WAS NOT AS POLITE AS I THOUGHT THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN. I THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE PROFESSIONAL.
