Description of Work: On Friday morning I could hear water running under the floor in our front bathroom. I went to the water heater and it sounded like water was running at full flow. I closed the valve on the water heater and called our home warranty company. Our home is built on a concrete slab and the plumbing is in the slab. They sent out Tahoe Mechanical and Plumbing Inc. Tahoe Mechanical and Plumbing had to remove the vanity in the front bath and jackhammer a hole in the floor to get to the pipe. The pipe was broken and badly pitted. Basically, they had to re-plumb the entire house via the attic and they worked all weekend to do so. Tahoe Mechanical and Plumbing had to cut holes in our walls to drop the new pipe down to the sinks, toilets, etc. The nice part is they cut clean holes and did a great job. The bad part is they threw all of the sheetrock away so it's costing us a third more to have the holes patched by a sheetrock repair guy we had to hire. Michael of Tahoe Mechanical and Plumbing also replaced our kitchen sink faucet for us. The problem is that he didn't use the rubber seal that is included with the new faucet as required nor did he caulk the faucet. If we use the kitchen sink and any water gets around the base of the faucet said water flows freely into the cupboard under the sink and has to be wiped up. I pointed this out to Michaels apprentice when he was here last to install the medicine cabinet they drilled into and broke and he said he would fix it, he didn't. The pipes bang when the Master bath toilet is flushed and that issue needs to be addressed too. All in all it was a job well done, except for the kitchen sink issue and I think that was simply forgotten.
