Description of Work: My washing machine was on its last leg. I did a lot of research for machines and options in our area and settled on Sargeant's Maytag. Since we were about to go on vacation, I needed a fast delivery of a machine likely to beat the competition in performance and longevity. Shawn was helpful and got me what I wanted. It was a pleasant experience and I'm happy with my new SpeedQueen.

+ -1 moreOld refrigerator quit and we wanted to replace (compressor which cost approx half of new refrigerator.) On recommendation of our repairman we called Sargents. Wendy at Sargents took the information about the new refrigerator we wanted. She around to find the exact model we wanted, but it would take about a week and a half for the refrigerator to be delivered. We decided to order it and wait about a week and a half for delivery (only a tiny refrigerator in the garage and a cooler, but we made it through.) Wendy told me she would put us on the list for delivery on Tuesday, April 28 and would call me. On Tuesday, I was too anxious and called Wendy. It did arrive at their site, and after a little back and forth, Wendy agreed to have it delivered that day and not on Wednesday. The deliveryman, Chris, was wonderful: very personable, able to remove our old refrigerator to his truck and bring in the new one by himself. He installed it and made sure there were no leaks. We also were given a large bottle of Stainless Steel cleaner and shiner which works like a charm.

Description of Work: My refrigerator had stopped running, and I called Sargents Maytag. Without going through all of the details, I can say that the guy that answered the phone walked my through some checks on the telephone that proved that the top plug on the duplex plug (the one the refrigerator had been plugged in to) had become inoperable. I switched plugs, and the refrigerator worked. |No house call and no bill! They could have made the house call and billed me whatever. Who would have known? Talk about integrity. |
