Im going to give them 1 stars because their work got done sort of except our cracked curbing along our entire backyard. The 4 stars they lose was for communication and the owner being a dirt bag. After 28 weeks of not hearing from them and paying 6k up front for a 21k dollar job and having to call every 3 weeks for updates there was honestly times my wife and I didn't think this job would be completed at all. We were ready to just fight it in small claims court and hope for the best. We submitted a complaint to the contractors board against them (us and apparently hundreds of others). We really felt a call every two weeks wasn't alot to ask for when you give someone 6 thousand dollars down and the job is 28 weeks behind schedule All I can say is if you did give them money you need to be patient. Like really really really patient. And don't expect updates unless you ask for them but they will be there eventually. This was really a nightmare for us. Our dog was boarded for literally months. Our kids couldn't go outside for half the summer and most of the fall. I mean it was horrible. The work got done. But at the same time we would never ever ever use these guys again. ANOTHER UPDATE: 2 weeks after job was completed our curbing is starting to crack along the back half of our fence line about 20 feet of it. MAJOR CRACKS. They came out to "fix it" and they got concrete all over our brand new artificial lawn and stamped cement slab and I cant get it off. Im in shock honestly. And the curbing they "Fixed" is already cracking again. Probably what happens when you pour concrete in the winter. Doubt this will ever get fixed. Just stay away from these guys.

The job went smooth as silk. The crew did the site prep one day and pour the concrete a couple days later. The job involved a concrete slab between the house and property fence which made for pretty tight quarters when the pour began. They guys got right in and did an outstanding job. The finished product looks great and the cleanup was complete. Thanks Frank & crew!

The end product looks nice, workmanship overall was good. Our problem was that the company was difficult to work with by not responding to phone calls or messages. Also they had a large deposit of our money for several months before starting the project or communicating well during these months. A month after the initial bid we learned they expected a $1000 dep. Once we gave them the deposit, (late sept.) we were told the work would begin approx. 4 - 6 weeks out. As it turned out the dep was taken and the work was not started for approx. 4 months. (Feb) During this time we were calling & leaving messages in order to communicate with our Association, however, Premium Lawn & Landscapes either did not respond to our calls/ messages or took several days or weeks & only after we contacted them several times. Upon completion they demanded payment in full immediately (next day). To which we asked for a bill/invoice in the mail. They did not want that, they did not want to wait even one day for payment & they had no problem contacting us in person, by phone or text daily or several times during a day threatening court action after 3 days. This was extremely lopsided & unprofessional business practices.

Great job. Cost effective, high quality and project manager was responsive and easy to work with.

Following long consideration (as well as travel and weather), I contacted Mr. Torres again via phone and email, explaining that I wasn't sure yet if I wanted to replace the concrete with pavers, which were included in the original estimate, but that I wanted to go ahead with the concrete removal and fence work. I received no response for two weeks. I called and emailed again, and received a terse reply via email: “I replied to your last email. Te [sic] living social is for landscape design/install and concrete services. Yard maintenance and removing concrete does not qualify.” I searched all my mail folders, junk and otherwise, and he was not truthful about having replied to the first email. Furthermore, there is nothing in the Living Social "fine print" that says the services I requested did not qualify; neither is this stated in any way in the estimate I received directly from him, nor was it stated in the email accompanying the estimate, nor in any conversation we had prior to this response. When I last spoke with Mr. Torres about this on the phone, he told me that only the installation of the pavers would qualify for the voucher, and since I was no longer asking for that, I could not use the voucher for the rest of the work. It is my feeling that Mr. Torres for some reason had second thoughts about either the timing or expense of the work I requested, and was trying to get out of the Living Social commitment, as the expiration date was approaching. I offered him the opportunity to dispute the details of this review, but he declined. Fortunately, Living Social has agreed to refund my money for the voucher. It is too bad that Mr. Torres did not take the opportunity implicit in the voucher program to build customer relations and a body of good reviews, which I would have happily posted here if his work had merited it.
