😡A technician from this company came out to my home. I told him that the cooling side of my AC is not working. I told him that you can hear the fan turn on, and you can feel air being pushed around. But there is 0 cooling going on. He did his test thing. He bypassed the thermostat. Then he claimed that because the fan for the cooling was turning on it was good to go. Then he claimed that because he could feel air moving it was working. No. That was just the Fan working. Like I told him. Then he tried to claim that it was the thermostat and dipped out. Basically. This company took my money. Sent out a technician who couldn't be bothered to open the AC unit and check the capacitor or the coolant capacity. Then dipped out. Today, we were cooking in the kitchen and the heat from the oven had the house fairly warm. So we turned the AC on to counter it. Here it is, hours later, and the house is still pretty d*** warm. Thank the Gods, its cold outside. But this issue, that I tried to have addressed almost 2 weeks ago, is not fixed. I will be calling my Home Warranty and recommending that they remove this company from their list of possible options. Had this been in the spring or summer time. I'm certain this issue would have been noticed a lot sooner. Recommendation: Skip this company. They can't be bothered to do their job.

The manager (Frank) was extremely helpful. His workmen were professional, friendly and very competent. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable about the process. The swamp cooler was too loud at first, so they adjusted it. We're really satisfied with all their work.

The whole thing was very bad. He came out, but did not do any work on my furnace. He only looked at the furnace telling me it was 20 years old and that I needed to have a lot of work done. We scheduled for him to come back out two days later and he never showed up.

The customer purchased a 20 Point Furnace inspection which was an Angie's List Big Deal promotion. The Technician preformed the inspection and advised the customer as to the condition of her furnace, which was in poor repair. The Technician also advised the customer that her furnace lacked a filter in the return air plenum, which could be contributing to the deterioration of her furnace. The customer decided to have a filter installed, and they agreed on a time for a return visit for the installation. Unfortunately, on the day of the filter installation the Technician got held up on another job and called the customer to advise that he would need to reschedule, he was unable to reach the customer directly but left a message. Apparently, the message did not reach the customer as she made a call to the office, later in the day, asking why he had not shown up, she was advised of the situation, and an apology made, for us not reaching her directly, and she was offered another appointment time, she chose to not proceed with the work.

Description of Work: Furnace tune up and filter replacement - The filter is about 30 feet high up so the tech had to go back and get a taller ladder to replace. He was very careful not to scratch our new hardwood floor or scratch our newly painted walls. Very courteous and professional. Would hire again

Red Flags! We are new to Angie's list. And after purchasing our new home we wanted to have a few thing checked out. We have only been in our new house for three months. During our initial home inspection during purchase we were told that they could start/inspect the unit due to the low temperatures. We had a very long winter here so we waited. Once things started to heat up we bought a coupon directly from Angie for an AC inspection. Some time had passed and we didn't hear anything from this company after buying the coupon. So we called them. They told us it would be another week before they could come out. That was the first red flag. When they did finally show up they seemed nice. They took a look at our AC unit and claimed they couldn't get it running. So they pulled a change up and said that they couldn't do an inspection and tried to charge us an additional $140 for a "service call". They said that they wouldn't apply the money we already paid to Angie for the inspection, Red Flag #2. We told them we weren't going to pay them twice and they threatened to send us to collections. Red Flag #3. At the end of the day we paid for nothing and were told we were dishonest. Red Flag #4. When I hear someone tell me they have to charge me more before they even perform any work is the biggest Red Flag of all!! My only advice is don't buy a coupon. Its basically like pre-paying for work/service and we all know what happens when you do that. It only invites grifters to grift. Sincerely, Not Happy

There is quite a lot of mis-information in this customer's review that needs correction. First the customer purchased a 20 point AC inspection. The inspection involves checking for correct operations on an operating unit, to confirm that the unit is operating within tolerances. Any issues that are brought to light during the inspection are brought to the attention of the homeowner. This customer's AC unit was non-operational when the technician arrived. The technician advised the customer that he could not do the 20 point inspection on a non-operational unit. He told the customer that he could charge for a service call and diagnose the problem. The technician spent well over an hour and a half working on the unit and determined that the control wiring to the unit had been disconnected, the thermostat was not working properly in cooling, and that the condenser's compressor had a locked rotor. With a repair of this size, requiring parts, we always provide the customer with a formal quote so there is no surprises as to the price of the repair. The technician gave the customer a bill for the service call. The technician also advised the customer that he could go back to Angie's List for a FULL refund of the cost of the 20 point inspection that he had purchased, but that we could not refund him directly. It is our opinion that the customer was fully aware that his unit was not functioning at the time he purchased the 20 point inspection, and was hoping he could get a discounted service call. Finally, the customer purchased the 20 point inspection several days into the first heat wave of the season. As such, we were very busy with service calls and emergency repairs. The inspections, since they are preformed on functioning systems, are not given priority in these circumstances. That said, I did squeeze the customer into our schedule, since he was very adamant about getting his inspection preformed promptly.
