Arrived on time, provided reasonable quote along with provided plan for HOA approval. Once approved come out and did the work.

Legends Landscaping were professional. I had to switch my appointment with them and they changed it without any problems and they even worked after hours to come out and give us an estimate, the finished the job within the time that they said they would and they were reasonably priced. We are very impressed with them.

We obtained 3 bids to have concrete work and general yard clean up done in our backyard. Mike was prompt for our scheduled appointment and provided us with a quote on the spot. The quote was very competitive to the others we received. Based on prior reviews from Angie?s list and the very comparable pricing, we chose Legends Landscaping. Because we decided to only have the concrete and curbing work done at this time; our business was handled through Quality Curb (which is also owned by Mike). Tony from Quality Curb contacted us right away and came out to scope out the job. The following week Tony and his crew were here installing our walkway and two days later the curbing. Tony was a delight to work with and we really appreciated his insight and ideas for our walkway and curbing. Both crews were very prompt, professional and courteous. We are very pleased with their work and our entire family is enjoying the new walkway and curbing. The crews did a great job of cleaning up, you couldn't even tell they were here except there was a new walkway and curbing in our backyard! Thank you Mike, Tony, Sue and the crews from Quality Curb, we have enjoyed doing business with you!

This is a little difficult to write. The job exceeded expectations with one serious exception. They came to work on my pond and pump. They showed up on time and did a terrific job, despite the fact that it started snowing while they were here. They were meticulous in their work and did a superior job that exceeded all expectations. So what's the problem? Estimates and price. I couldn't get them to give me as much as a ballpark estimate for the work, even after they showed up and saw the job. When I received the final bill, I feel it was somewhat too high (for instance, why do two workers need a full time foreman?). This could have been avoided if they were willing to discuss price before the work started. My recommendation is that you shouldn't hesitate to call them, but don't let them start work without giving an price estimate and explanation first. Shame on me for not following my own advice.

No problems. Showed up when they said they would, performed work exactly to the specification they stated they would, many little extras included, no hidden costs. Little bit above average price, way above average professionalism. When they finished, area was immaculate and beautiful. Would highly reccommend to anyone looking for landscaping work in the Reno area.

We received 4 bids on our landscaping project. Although Legends came in on the high side -- we were impressed with Bart's understanding of what we were looking for and sensitive to our existing yard art. Also, Legends works with Quality Curb (who we contracted with to do our patio and curbing). They also offered a final walk-through with a company owner before we submitted our last payment on the project cost. The work crews were professional and hard-working. They were continually cleaning up debris and keeping the project components out of our way and as much as possible, keeping our front driveway and road areas clear for traffic and appearance. Excavation of 15 yrds of materials from one corner of the yard had to be done first, to accommodate plans for a future storage shed. They had to relocate bushes and plants for the short term and then replant when the project was completed. Legends created a beautiful hand-stacked rock wall surrounding the back third of our yard area -- making it much more attractive and accessible. Relocating our existing rocks and supplementing with their wall rocks -- they created the rock garden I requested. When the wall was done and plants replanted -- they installed DG throughout the back area -- replacing the existing river rock. During the project we discovered our irrigation system had a leak under the front driveway -- Bart and Crew Manager Shane took that in stride and rerouted the system around the back to the front area to replace the existing drip system. The water valves were located up against the house and surrounded in concrete and -- needed to be relocated outside the sidewalk area. They did it all! We also had a couple of plants left over and he had them planted them in the front for us. As the project evolved -- there was not enough room to install the flagstone walkway we had envisioned and had the materials already on site -- so Shane created a nice patio entryway that will lead into the shed and a small area for the Bar B Q. He said if we needed more stone to complete the project in the spring, to let them know. We were impressed with progress and with the final project. We are thrilled with the look and the aesthetic of the rock wall. We also appreciated the final walk-thru with Legends staff. We will have to wait for spring to see if and how the transplanted and new plants adjusted to the moves just before the snows came -- and if the irrigation drip system works properly (it was turned off immediately after being installed due to cold temps) -- but we were told to let them know if we need assistance. It was a big project for us -- and a three week project for them -- we appreciate all of the hard work and thank them all for a job well-done!

We looked at four landscaping contractors to do a major job in our front & back yard. This was the only company that listened to what we wanted the final product to look like and how much we wanted to spend. They came when we agreed to start the project and did all the work in a reasonable amount of time, the only delay being from a bit of weather. All the work was professionally done. The paver work looks fantastic! The plants are all doing well & look great! We were given easy to follow instructions on care for the new plants. The new configuration to the sprinkler system kept everything alive through the summer. We are very happy with our new landscaping and would use Legends Landscaping again!

They arrived on time every day and completed the landscaping in approx. 7 business days, When there was something that needed to be corrected or changed they were very responsive and yard was completed to our satisfaction. I definitely would recommend them again.

The crew was consistently punctual, energetic, mindful of neighbors, cleaned up as they went along, and completely professional. The management was cooperative, flexible, helpful with suggestions without being pushy or hard sell. A completely satisfactory experience. Would recommend without hesitation and will probably have them back for further projects.

from start to finish ...easy. Legends worked out our ideas of a Zen garden and took the existing landscaping and enhanced the look of the gardens and lawns so that now...a few months later we love how its filled in and can enjoy the space! good job, well done!

They were on-time, polite, considerate of family & pets, cleaned up every day at the end of the day. Finished project before estimated time frame. Loved every one of them!!

Legends was great to work with from start to finish. Although their quote was a little higher than some of the other places, they were very professional. They showed up when they said they would. They were responsive to all of our questions and requests. They were very careful, working around the house and existing structures without causing any damage. They made adjustments to the original plan as necessary without adding additional charges. When all was said and done, the job looked great.

Everything was outstanding. We have a real showplace for a back yard. It's really incredible. We used them a long time ago but it was great at the time.

Legends came in and from the initial bid to the final product they were done in about one month. They did an excellent job. We still work with them.

It turned out to be an excellent job. It is very nice and very neat, and I will definitely use this company again.

They were punctual, quick and did a good job. However, they are a bit pricey and not very convenient for billing (e.g. be home in person to provide a check or provide your credit card number over the phone). They are more on the pricey side ($220 + disposal fee $20 per CF), and do not invoice/bill, regardless of how many times you have done business with them. However, compared to other individuals and companies I have dealt with in the past , the fact that they are punctual and do a good job makes up for the cost difference in my opinion. I will have them come out twice a year for general cleanups.

Very well. Mike was very prompt and thorough with estimate. Crew worked very hard and left the yuard spotless. I am very satisfied.

Their estimates were just outrageously high compared to the others. Therefore I did not go with them. They were very pleasant. They came out when they fixed up an appointment and they were very pleasant. They were just extremely expensive. I don’t think that there’s anything they need to improve on. They were very pleasant people to work with. They did seem to know their business. I went with other people because of the price. They were excellent on responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism. I don’t think I will use their services again in the future.

The job went very well. They arrived on schedule and were always very professional. When the digging was complete, a crack was discovered in a large pipe that is a part of our leech field. Although Legends did not cause the crack, they repaired the cracked pipe at no additional charge. The job was finished in 3 days, and in spite of all the digging, when the job was finished you could hardly tell that all the excavating had been done. Everything was cleaned up and looked great. Shane was in charge of the job, and made sure that we were happy with the results. He even took the time to make sure our sprinklers were adjusted properly to help with the pesky dry spots that are so hard to stay ahead of in the hot summer months. He also stopped by several days later to make sure the new sod was getting the right amount of water.

We had our backyard re-landscaped after we realized the first garden we had installed just wasn't working as we had hoped. We had Legend's add trees, landscape lighting and 2 hardscape raised bed gardens. We had a vision with the hardscape gardens, and they were able to take that and make it even better. They came out and designed it, bid it and completed it on schedule. They showed up everyday and ontime. I had several requests and they were very accommodating - whether it was made in the office, over the phone or standing in the backyard. While the price might seem high, we have an acre, so there were a lot of items added and it was totally in line with other bids. It looks great and we couldn't be happier with their service or workmanship. We will definitely use them again.

Legends Landscaping was wonderful to work with. Mike Schuhmacher, the owner of the company was my primary contact. He came out to my home and discussed the ways I used my backyard and what I wanted to change about it. He came up with a beautiful design, a great budget, and an installation schedule that was fast and efficient. Before I started this project, I thought I knew pretty much about the look I wanted and how to go about getting it, but after talking with Mike, it was apparent that he knew his "stuff" and had a much better grasp of all things landscaping than I did! And, he was incredibly nice about discussing the pros and cons of many of my ideas - some of which definitely needed to be changed! I especially loved his suggestions for a water feature, and a new paver patio - neither of which I had even considered, but have become my favorite parts of the new design. Shane Beadell was the supervisor on the project and his crew was fabulous! They were timely, respectful of the neighbors, unbelievably efficient, and always left the site neat and tidy at the end of the day. I was so excited to come home each evening to see what they'd finished during the day! Since they finished, I have not only thoroughly enjoyed spending time outdoors, but have had a bonus of a considerable savings on my water bill. They reworked my existing irrigation that seemed to have been working but wasn't really - and even though I had more to water, my bill was cut almost in half because they had made it so much more efficient! I know the company has been around for quite some time, and now I know why - they offer a quality and professional job and were really easy to work with. When I have the funds to do the front yard over, I'll be calling Legends again!
