Prompt polite, professional-All involved: Designer, foreman, workers, owner project progressed quickly once it started. Company is very busy, original contact 4 months prior to project starting project took 9 days.

Legends wasn't the least expensive bid nor were they the most. We went with them because of their excellent reviews on Angie's list and their ratings on other links. Their workers were always on time, polite and extremely hard working. Mike the owner and Shane the Supt. are very straight forward. Their office staff is very professional and Trichia did a very good job designing the final plans for our HOA 's approval. The quality of the plant and tree selections exceeded our expectations. They also provided top soil and fertilizer for the vegetation. Several of our neighbors were impressed with their quality and they decided to hire Legends.

From start date to completion this company did a wonderful job. Our backyard is beautiful & met all of our expectations, they include a closing appt to teach us re: plants & irrigation etc.

Rental property had lawn issues exacerbated by absentee tenant and lawn needed to be replaced. There were low spots in the back yard that needed to be filled and exposed tree roots that needed to be covered. Because of a positive experience with sister company, Quality Curb, called Legends Landscaping to provide an estimate. I thought the price was reasonable so I went ahead with the job, without obtaining other quotes. Originally scheduled for about four weeks out, they were able to accelerate start in only two weeks, which I appreciated as was concerned about a potential early onset of cold weather. Work took three days and looks great. Job entailed modest but necessary border changes to backyard which necessitated replacement of existing lawn curbing. Crew did a fantastic clean up job. The foreman, was easy to work with and responsive. Would recommend.

Mike, the owner was very professional, keeping my husband and I in the loop throughout the project. His crew was very pleasant, clean and the job was done in a timely fashion.

I gave them specific instructions of what to do but the workers that were sent did not speak any English or could not read the instructions in English. The piping that they installed wasn't done properly and burst. They repaired it but then the same thing happened again which flooded my front yard. When the pipe burst it sprayed water all over my freshly painted house. They used a blue glue in the repair which they got on my house and also dripped it all the way from my house across the pavers in my driveway to the street. They only took partial responsibility for the water bill due to their leak. The bill was $300 that month due to all the water from the burst pipes. They were prompt in their response when I complained.

Best estimate from 4. Started on-time. Best and most professional team of workers we've had. Extremely professional, hardworking, respectful of our property. Always on-time. There cannot be enough praised heaped upon this crew! Owner of Legends came for walk-through. Answered all questions. Gave great advice, helpful hints, etc. Never once did we feel anything but that this was the most important job on their agenda. Wonderful company. I will absolutely use them again.

Unfortunately, for all the work they have done for us, I would rate them no better than average. We have had 7 landscapers provide varying amounts of work for us over the last 3 1/2 years (since buying our home). Yes, I am picky, but shouldn't we be when we're spending tens of thousands of dollars. We had a fabulous landscaper in CT and maybe we were spoiled by that experience. They set the bar for excellence and the closest we've come to come to replicating their work was with El Reyo Landscaping from Carson City (see their review). This review isn't based on Legends mistakes, but a combination of errors, lack of creativity and their designer's(?) limited knowledge. We didn't find Signature, All Seasons or SummerScape any better. Gail Willey's rep. was very nice, seemed knowledgeable and thorough, but never sent the quote.

Excellent. Crew there working hard everyday. Came back to do a little detail work (that technically wasn't part of the bid).

The on site team did a great job - the front yard looked better than it did before. The crew were fast, courteous and polite and were done very quickly. The only drawback is that they are a pretty expensive service BUT you do get what you pay for.

We contacted Legends, along with several other landscapers, in mid-February to discuss landscaping our backyard space, which was in dire need of help! After meeting with all of the landscapers and hearing their proposals and bids, we chose Legends to do the work. Although the bids were close in price, the Legends staff seemed to understand what we wanted and appeared easy to work with and very professional in the contacts we had with them. After approving the general plan and signing the contract, we were given a suggested plant list to review and modify if we chose. We then met with the estimator and job superintendent to discuss the plan, schedule and steps of the project. The project started at the end of March and was estimated to take 2-3 weeks. In the end, it took about 4, but that included a week of waiting for concrete to cure. The project included a large paver patio, new plantings, re-location of several existing shrubs, a new drip system and a concrete stairway, plus installation of bark and rock covering the ground. The project was primarily completed by 3 main workers, who were simply amazing! Professional, experienced, respectful, hard working, tidy - it was all good. The job superintendent checked in with the crew and with us at least twice a day, so we were able to communicate, ask questions and keep abreast of the schedule. Additional employees were brought in as needed for certain parts of the project, including pouring of the concrete staircase. The only slight hitch in the renovation came when there was a mixup in the plant order, but Legends was committed to giving us what we wanted, and took care of the problem in a professional and timely way. We couldn't have done this project ourselves, and we're very happy with our choice of Legends Landscaping to make our backyard space amazing! I would and will definitely recommend them to anyone who is seeking landscape work.

Couldn't have asked for more. Arrived on time, and completed work on schedule with minimal disturbances. Even though our job is somewhat simple, it is beautiful!

Work went well and quickly. No problems. Installers were true artists. Designer was great and worked with us. Even got a maintenance and care booklet at the final walk through. Would recommend this company to anyone who wants a professional and artistic look to their landscaping.

Mike Schumacker gave us a quote that was a little higher than a couple of other outfits, but I felt Mike was the most knowledgeable and honest when it came to what needed to be done. After we agreed on the price Mike stopped by the week before they planned to start with his foreman Shane to look the job over one more time to make sure we were on the same page. Shane showed up with his crew when he said he would and they worked diligently until the job was completed. Shane even re-ordered the block we used after I changed my mind on the type. The wall looks great and we plan on using Legends Landscaping for our backyard hardscaping next spring. Thanks Mike and your whole crew...

They did the work on time but left without talking to me about the care of the bushes.

Crew was on time, competent and professional. This was the only company that presented a solution to the drainage issue rather than just (for the same price) covering up the damage.

They the workers arrived each day at 7:45 am. Worked till 3:30 pm. Everything was well coordinated & efficient.

The team arrived on time, reviewed what needed to be done, and got to work. There was no time lost. When I had questions about how a future project, those questions were answered immediately. If I wanted more work to be done, that happened quickly and without complaint or comment. This was a great experience from beginning to end. These guys really know what they are doing and are very professional in working with customers.

The house we purchased was empty for 8 months and before that it was a rental for quit a while. The backyard was a complete mess. The devil vines and related goat heads had completely taken over. If you walked in the yard your shoes would end up covered in goat heads. Legends Landscaping came up with a zero landscape plan that solved the problem. They installed the work on schedule and within the original quote. The team that did the work were professional and completed the work with no problems. The yard,street and driveway was cleaned and you could not tell that they were here.

Legends Landscaping does a very nice job. This is the second project I have had them do and I am completely satisfied with both jobs. You have never seen a harder working crew. They go right to work and work tirelessly until it's done. Their work is very satisfactory and they always cleanup the area very nicely. The only drawback is they are very busy and it takes awhile for them to get to the job, but it's worth the wait. Call them early in the Spring if you have a project to get on their list.
