Design Tile & Stone

We recently built a new house south of Carson City and used Design Tile and Stone for our granite and tile materials. Great selection at their store - and you have something specific in mind, they may be able to get that too. It’s a nice mom & pop business owned by folks who really know their stuff; care about their customers; and will work hard to make you happy. Good folks

They were wonderful to work with and were very helpful to me. They had wonderful suggestions for the tile work that I was interested in and they were very artistic. They have terrific design ideas and I found their prices reasonable also. I really wanted to work with them but I found exactly the thing I wanted somewhere else. They worked with me really quickly when I went into the showroom and for my next job I will go back to them.

My experience at Design Tile was excellent. I initially worked with Kristen during my search for granite counter-top tiles. I then decided to switch to pre-fab granite as there really wasn't a price difference after factoring installation costs. Design Tile was excellent and very personable. They helped with the design element and were very patient during a long two weeks in trying to make a decision. The only initial drawback was not being able to visibily choose all of the granite pieces (they typically don't stock pre-fab islands.) But after many conversations with Kristen and Tracy they were able to grasp a great sense of what I wanted. So they took my kitchen cabinet and my tile choice down with them to their wholesaler and found an incredible match for my granite counters. Tracy called me from the wholesaler, had me take a look at pictures of granite pre-fab pieces she was sending while she was there and gave me her opinion. I ultimately went with her recommendation and was over the moon when it arrived at their store. When my fabricator came to deliver the pieces we quickly realized they had made the wrong cut for our sink hole in our island. I quickly called Tracy and she immediately had a new island sent up the following day. They were fantastic, professional, but also so very personable and easy to work with. And they have a great design eye.

We were planning to have our tile counter tops replaced with granite. We visited numerous granite slab sellers in Reno and Sparks. Randy at Design Tile and Stone was very helpful in the process. We found beautiful slabs of 3cm granite at a very reasonable price at Design Tile and Stone. Randy held them for us until we could have our fabricator come out to make sure they would be appropriate for our needs. We are very satisfied with our new granite counter tops, and highly recommend the service, prices and selection at Design Tile and Stone.
