+ -1 moreI recently had roof repair work done on my roof by D&D Roofing. I have used the same company for roof repairs in the past and all went well. In June,2019 I had an estimate for repair to my roof. The estimate was about $1800. When the work was scheduled two workers were on the roof for about one-half hour. I called D&D Roofing to state the cost was exorbitant for about ½ hour of work. There was not much cost in materials for the repair. D&D did reduce the cost by refunding $475 so I ended up paying #1,393. I will not be doing business with D&D Roofing in the future. I will be using reviews in the future to hopefully better scrutinize roofing companies.

Description of Work: We had a leak in our roof behind a column. They needed to remove the tile, repair the leak and replace the tile.

I hired one of their competitors that knocked it out perfectly in just a few hours. Description of Work: Had a few leaks in my roof. They removed the tile in the valleys, replaced the underlayment and tied it in to the other underlayment, and reinstalled the tile. They also put a cap on my furnace pipe, which was missing. | |No problems so far. I think they did a good job.

Description of Work: D&D came to make an estimate for a job I needed done on my roof. They didn't explain too much about what they would do, seemed in a hurry, and were on their way. Their estimate was half again as high as the company I chose, and not very detailed. I did not chose the lowest estimate either.

+ -1 moreAll I can say is that they were here for a full day, working hard and repairig the roof. I was working at my home office. They were freindly, professional and very reasonable. Really enjoyed the company and the people that worked for them.
Description of Work: We had cement roofing material for our shingles. They broke off and fell during a heavy winter season. We were given a $2000 estimate by another company, and bvd not only did for a more than reasonable price, but the craftsmanship was above and beyond our expectations. They were on time and happy to be working with us (or so it seemed). Woudl highly recommend

+ -1 moreOne of reasons they weren't chosen was it took too long to get their price. . I called a few contractors (including Dand D) at the same time for estimates and the others came and went and supplied me with quotes before Dand D even got back to me..Once an appointment was made they were prompt in getting here, but the quote which was promised for the next day (a Friday) didn't arrive (e-mail) until the following Tuesday. By then I had chosen the compitition.
Description of Work: Estimate only. Their quoted price was right in the middle of the other estimates I received. However, their response time to come out and get me the estimate was considerably longer than the competition. Once here their estimator was professional and thorough. I received the estimate a few days later than was promised by the company.

+ 0 moreThe entire process from estimate to completion was pleasant and professional. The roofers were clean, professional and easy to deal with -- since one of the roofers who did the work also did the original estimating we'd already established a rapport and the communication was clear and easy.
Description of Work: Came and gave an estimate for leak repairs. The original estimate and the final price were almost exact and done by the same person. I requested several estimates from several companies for the same repairs -- the two other quoted repairs were much higher and less specific to the problem (one quoted me an full $23,000 roof replacement!) Of all three companies contacted for an estimate, D & D was the only company that actually got up on the roof, photographed the problem and then provided me with before and after photographs of all repairs. I would use them again.

+ -1 moreWe got off to a slow start. It took almost a week for them to get back to me with my request for an estimate. Once they did things moved very quickly. Their representative was knowledgable, had his samples available for us to review, listened to what work we wanted done above and beyond re-roofing, and was back the next day with a estimate. When we compared the 2 estimates we had they were only $230 apart so our final decision, since all things were more or less equal, was based on the color of the roofing material. We signed the contract and the work was scheduled to start on 4/21/11 but storms were moving in and they asked to start earlier. That was fine with us. So the tear-off started and completed on Tuesday and the new roof was installed on Wednesday. The crew that came did a real good job of cleaning up after themselves, arrived promptly in the mornings and finished late in the afternoon. Yes, I would hire them again though I shouldn't have to since this roof should outlast my wife and I.

He scheduled an estimate visit and did, in fact, visit our site, took measurements and photos. Although I left a contact phone number, Dand D Roofing left a message on an alternative phone for me to call and receive the quotation. I tried to contact them twice and left messages. That's the last I saw or heard of Dand D Roofing. I ended up going with another contractor.

+ -1 moreThey were excellent. They came close to the time they said they would. Their trucks came before I left in the morning and they were gone when I came home. They did a great job og picking up all of the loose material. They kept the yard very clean when they left every night. They did the whole project in about 3 days. They did all this for cheaper then I expected. My electric bill has also gone down since they put the roof on. The workers I talked to were very friendly and proffesional.
Description of Work: They put a roof on my home. They brought the roof up to date. They stripped off the oild roof and started with a fresh one. They brought it up to code.
