Hot water running in the shower would not turn off. Two emergency calls to D&D at 7:15 pm and 7:30 9/21. The city came out to turn the water off at 9 pm. Received a voice mail Sunday morning at 0724 returning my call. 12 hours later!

We bought the place knowing the water pipes needed to be replaced and it was the first task we took on after closing. D&D were good to work with. They were on time, had to track where the water lines were, cut out minimal drywall to do so, and worked with us to relocate the heater indoors from the crawl space, add water overflow pan/drain and were flexible regarding how to run the lines for an expected new washer/dryer. The whole job took two days to complete, with us taking care of drywall repairs later. We had one small and very slow drip leak involving one Rehau connector to the water heater which they fixed with a new Pex constriction ring. We have near instant hot water in the master bath now, very quick elsewhere; lower bills and greater confidence in the water pipes. The also fixed the main sewer line which was hanging low due to broken nylon hanging bands using a better strap system and J-hook at a 90 degree elbow at a corner. Our water pressure was well over 80 PSI with no regulator to begin with and the addition of a regulator was welcome relief to the potential effects. They replaced the "home made" home-run system made with individual T connectors on both hot and cold sides with a standard layout that is efficient for our small place. They included new hose bibs with frost protection brass fittings. The only concern we had was a pipe crossing in the primary wet wall between the utility room and master bath caused us to have to trim out the studs for drywall to fit well afterwards. We brought this to their attention and know they took some action to address it, but turned out not to be enough to satisfy the drywall; shimming the drywall out worked well enough, just a little more time. All in all, we were very satisfied with the effort and thought it well worth the price to get rid of the risk with polybutylene pipes and getting the water heater in a better environment..

First visit didn't fix the problem. Second visit one month later the plumber was called out due to strong smell of gas. This plumber took apart water heater and cleaned everything and fixed problem without an additional charge!

He arrived on time, quickly identified the problem, explain exactly what needed to be done and the cost. What really impressed me was that he took off his dirty shoes to walk upstairs on the carpet. He then cleaned up after himself. Very professional and the work was great.

Ebon is a wonderful contractor and person. He identified and corrected issues within the solar hot water system that had been present since installation - it was not running optimally so we paid out of pocket to have him apply the corrections needed to get it running much better. He didn't have to do that. He could've just focused on the replacement and repair from the storm damage and we would've been none the wiser. He went above and beyond and checked in a couple of times to make certain the system was dialed in correctly.

Arrived promptly and made quick work of repairing the problem even though it was a weekend.

D & D Plumbing moved the whole house water turn-off from a crawl area into the house. The turn-off, if needed in an emergency, is now quite easy to access. The work was neatly done and on schedule. The price was quite competitive. We would hire this company again.

After days of calling their office after they failed to show for scheduled appointments I had to call NV E nervy to assist in getting the job completed. They really don't care if you have to take time off work or have daycare issues, totally unreliable.

After initial contact with D & D the company responded within a day. Evaluated problem replaced parts. Job was done in two parts because of added changes I wanted done (water shutoff replaced) Plumbing in house apprx. 35 years old. Worked was completed as fast and as efficent as needed. repair person very courteous and responsive to questions. Will definitely use again.

It was great. I called early in the morning and left a message. I got a return call shortly after 8AM and had an appointment scheduled for 2PM that day. I was not at home, so I came home at 2PM and the serviceman was there waiting. His service was speedy, he was very professional, and he was pleasant to chat with. A+. When I told him I'd found him on Angie's List, he gave me the discount, even though I was technically supposed to print a coupon.

D and D had the lowest estimate and installed a new water heater the next day, even though we did not request a rush. The company personnel were very quick and friendly over the phone for the quote and also during the installation. Workmanship was high quality and they cleaned up well after completion. Great job. I would definitely use them again.

Excellent service all three times used. The company even dispatched a heating and bioler specialist late at night to troubleshoot my broken heater on one of Reno's coldest nights. These guys are great and extremely reliable. Their costs are honest and reasonable to boot!

It went quite well. I showed the tech all the bibs, described what was wrong, and after that only two needed repair. It was quick and well done!
