Outstanding. Saul and Juan did an absolutely fantastic job. I could not be happier with the work. They were always on time and very meticulous in how they painted every part of my house. There was not one flaw that I saw anywhere on my house and I'm very particular in how I want things done. Kirk Vandermark provided me with a timely estimate of the project and I was pleasantly surprised at what the total cost was. He was prompt on scheduling when the work would begin and they started and finished on time. If you want anything painted, your search should stop with Vandermark and Son. You will not find a better company for any of your painting needs.

Excellent job! Kirk and his crew went the extra mile to make sure the preparation was thorough, before hand painting the entire house and staining the deck to perfection. Price was reasonable and we highly recommend them.

Kirk and crew did an amazing interior paint job for a house I was about to put on the market. Being a huge job, the guys got it done in less than a week and left the house spotless. The paint looked amazing and we were so happy to see the final outcome. After the paint job, I made the mistake of getting the carpets done. If you go to RC Willeys beware of their subcontractors - they will tear up your newly painted baseboards which they did to mine. Kirk came in to retouch all baseboards and spots throughout the house that were damaged. We also inquired about doing stucco painting where a woodpecker had pecked numerous holes around the house. He didn't hesitate on saying no and made it a point to come out to do the job. Super friendly guys, super reasonable prices, would totally recommend.

Kirk Vandermark and his crew are great! My husband and I were not in town during the painting and simply gave Kirk the key. We returned at the end of the week and found the work completed and done perfectly. After we paid him, we still needed a couple of additional things done, which he followed up with no problem. We plan to hire him again for the second floor. We would not hesitate to recommend him: He and his crew are competent, reliable and honest.

Kirk and his crew were very responsive and professional. His two painters were very competent with ZERO errors. We have yet to find any mistakes which is remarkable considering 20' walls in part of our house. The painters were high quality craftsmen and were always on time and were neat and tidy. I highly recommend Vandermark painters!!

Kirk arrived to provide a quote at the scheduled time. We scheduled the work for the following week, but they had a slot open up even earlier and we were able to have all the work completed much quicker than first thought. The crew was professional. The house looks great.

Our experience with Kirk and his crew was excellent from start to finish. The quality of the work is excellent, they were always on time, attentive to details, cooperative, professional and courteous. We hired Vandermark and Sons to pain the exterior of our older home including the trim. They also searched out replacement shingles for our exterior and replaced some that were broken. Our home was built in 1948, so matching the shingles was difficult, but he found some that matched well and his carpenters did a great job of replacing. Kirk also worked hard to match our color and to use the type of paint we wanted. The paint crew power-washed the exterior first, then scraped, patched and caulked, taped and painted the body, and then patched, caulked and painted the trim. I was worried because we'd just had new windows installed and I didn't want paint overlap - it was not a problem - there was no spotting anywhere. Our house looks brand new! We would definitely use them again!

All work completed in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. This is a two story home, and some of the surfaces are not easily accessible. The trim was weathered and looked it. Vandermark's crew primed the wood and placed two coats on all trim and soffits. It was easy to work with Kirk Vandermark (contractor) . I was very pleased with the results. Would most definitely hire him again.

Kirk Vandermark is wonderful. I would use him again & Highly Recommend him. He responded immediately, was very professional. He is a very likeable guy and best of all did a fantastic job on my house and fence. He went over the top, doing many extras such as extra prepping, removing some dry rot, replacing & adding boards, & flashing where needed. I had been dreading the decisions of how to deal with the dry rot since I moved in. He made it so easy for me. He also helped me on my paint colors & was very patient & helpful with my indecisiveness. He painted very large areas with some of the colors to make sure I would be happy. They painted extra things such as the electric meter, the concrete below my column in front. His workers who have been with him for a very long time were very professional also. That speaks a lot about the owner. What a great surprise & now I'm hooked on Angies list for the great reviews. My house looks beautiful & people I don't know who pass by give me compliments!!

This was my third time using Kirk--first time was house painting, second was some deck work, minor paving and fence repair. As usual, just stellar. He came out to repair some bad wind damage to my long picket fence (second time). No pressure at all but he gave me options, and I elected this time for metal posts to avoid a third repair. Fence work was nice, and subsequent to that my neighbors' fences blew down and mine are rock solid. He mentioned previously that he did some landscaping, and my initial talks with another landscaper hadn't gone well (they wanted to do what they wanted, not what I did, which was xeriscaping) so I broached it with Kirk. I gave him a bad sketch of kind of what I had in mind, and he said that one of his guys had good instincts on that sort of thing, so given basic guidance I let them run with it and it turned out great. Initially I just wanted to make the larger part of the yard less of an eyesore, but liked the combo paver path/bark/DG setup such that I decided to finish the yard. Again, no pressure, but good discussions and options... I decided to have them tear up the concrete driveway, walk and porch as well, and put down pavers there, and extend the front porch off to the side some as a "front deck." More pavers lining it, and more combo of DG and bark completed that side. The neighbors all love it, especially after having had to look at my dead grass Addams Family looking yard for 6 years. Conscientious, friendly and very easy to work with, both him and his workers. Backyard will be next up. I wouldn't call anyone else.

We had put off this painting job for some time, until a family visit finally spurred us into action. We contacted Kirk and he replied promptly to our request for an estimate. Once we chose the colors, the painting crew showed up and did a great job. Kirk cheerfully came back to touch up one cabinet. His crew was in and out in one day; they cleaned up thoroughly. The kitchen sparkles-- we are very happy.

This is our second time using Vandermark & son painting this year. Kirk ( the owner) had his crew, Delfino & Fili install our pavers and French drain last week. These guys have such pride in their work and are always a pleasure to work with. Not only did they do a beautiful job that you'll be proud of but they are very nice and thoughtful also. Before leaving every evening they made sure to reattach the metal gate so our dog would be safe in the yard after they were gone even though it meant the had to repeat the process every day, we never asked them to do this but they never forgot to secure the yard every night and it really spoke volumes to me about what good men they are. You guys are awesome, thanks!!! Kirk always follows up and makes sure you are very happy with the work done and I already said when we work on our next project I want Delfino & Fili to work with us again. Kirk is the boss and he is very easy to work with and very likable but like every business Kirk is nothing without his employees. These guys are just outstanding workers and even better people. As tough as it was to have people working at your house day after day I was sad to see them go they were that good. .I told Kirk he needs to advertise that his guys are not only top notch painters but also fantastic landscapers and all around handymen. There was not one single thing I threw at them that they couldn't or did not know how to do. So thank you very much guys, especially Delfino and Filli. I'm extremely proud of my home and the work that you did here and will have you guys back again soon to do my garage. I wish I could add photos because my words don't do their work justice. A+++++

Kirk & his crew did a great job, they are very thorough and the repair work and paint looks awesome. We are very satisfied with the quality of their work and they finished the project in a timely manner and the cost was very reasonable. So our opinion of this company was: Good people, quality work and reasonable rates, we would hire again for future projects.

This included some repair from water damage from a roof leak and my aquariums, rerouting of a CCTV system, removal of some built in shelves etc. All of the prep work was performed as agreed and on time. New colors were selected and the entire home was painted, making it look brand new! Happy to say the house sold quickly. I discovered Vandermark and Son Painting on Angie's list (and wrote a previous review) and wanted to again post my absolute satisfaction with this company. Professional, courteous and detail oriented!

It was hard to choose the right color to cover the old black stain on the fence. Kirk brought me the color brochure to look at and brought 2 samples of the stain that I chose to try on. First Kirk came right on the schedule date to pressure wash the fence. The painting date had been postponed but Kirk did gave me responsible notice. After his team had got the job half done, I noticed I don't really like the color that I picked. Kirk offered to buy another gallon of wood stain to repaint the wood bench and rail. It makes me felt better with the color. Although I still adjusting to try to love the colors but that is only about my choice. Kirk and his team did excellent job. It is the 2nd time that I hired him. Last year they did the painting on my exterior house too. It was on my previous review.

The owner returned my call for a bid promptly. I had the bid by the next day and it was quite a bit less than my other bids. The painting is not finished but everything to this point has been wonderful. The staff are polite and detailed in their work. Very happy with the entire process. I have requested a bid to have my ceilings painted because I am so happy with them.

Very responsive in providing quote, timely and professional in all aspects of service. The paint job looked great, and would use them again for exterior of home.

We had an appointment scheduled for 8am. He didn't show up and didn't call. When I contacted him he said my address got deleted. Then he said he has too much work scheduled. I find it hard to believe that he was ready to take on more business when we made the appointment, then, in the intervening 2 days he suddenly got all booked up. I'm so tired of people who treat their customers this way. I have news for all you service providers: Some of us will just hire the first guy who shows up. The whole provider industry is so full of flakes that the bar is set really low. Just answer the phone and show up and we'll give you money.

It went very well. Kirk & his crew worked every day from 7:30 - 5:00 (no Sundays) for over a week. Did a great job. Cleaned up every night. I will use them again AND recommend them.
