Kirk and his crew did an exceptional job! I couldn’t be more pleased. They were on time every day and got the job done in the time promised. Filiberto and Juan were both courteous and a pleasure to work with. They were very neat, and meticulous. They took great care in prepping and sealing off the kitchen area. Kirk is very personable and I really enjoyed doing business with him. They painted my front door and it really looks classy now with the black lacquer paint!

Fantastic experience. Far exceeded my expectations. When shopping for a painting contractor, its the prep that separates the good ones from the bad (I've had bad before). It took them 3 days to prep the house for staining the cedar shingle siding and painting the trim. The crew were extremely efficient, caring for every shingle that needed fastening down. Then, Kirk bought a bundle of shingles and one of the crew replaced an entire section that had pulled apart over 40 years from Ivy. The repair was impressive. Then, they removed all the 2x2 boards on two patio covers in order to scrape and sand each one and the large boards they sit upon. When they found some that were in bad shape, Kirk went and bought new 2x2 boards. He was sensitive to what I'd like and brought samples of siding stain, put some on large areas so I could see and pick a color. They got so much stuff off when scraping and sanding trim that they hauled off large bags of debris. Each day they cleaned any mess before they left. I was stunned at the quality of this experience and was actually happy to hand over a check when it was done. If there was a 6 or 7 star option when rating Kirk and his crew, I'd check that. Outstanding experience.

Vandermark & Sons was top notch. The work performed was meticulous; from the pressure wash, to prep, to stucco repair and then the final paint job. Kirk was super communicative and responsive all along the way. The painters were very polite and punctual and very good at what they do. The attention to detail and the care they took with removing things from the walls and then putting them back up was impressive. I would absolutely recommend and hire again.

Everything was great. I was contacted right away when I called, the estimate came very quickly, great price, the guys did a great job of scraping priming and painting. We removed old vinyl siding exposing beautiful old growth cedar shingles but full of holes from the vinyl installation. They patched, caulked, and sanded then painted. They did an incredible job and it looks new!

Kirk Vandermark explained in detail what work would be performed. The team that he sent (Thanks Saul) were really thorough. Great attention to detail, Saul even told me that the house had been painted in the winter (it was finished in February) notable by the crackled paint in some sections, hey, knows his stuff. They took time to explain what needed to be done and how they would accomplish the project. So courteous and professional. I appreciate that they did not just hurry through the job but made sure everything was done properly. Their prompt attention to any question is applaudable. My house looks great, thanks guys. If I need painting in or out in the future, you are my first option.

Before painting the house was power washed, scraped, caulked, boards replaced and/or added, and otherwise prepared for painting. Vents were also replaced. The end product turned out excellent.

Kirk and his very professional team have just completed painting the exterior of my home. I could not be more pleased! I admit I am a perfectionist, but not at any time was a disappointed in their work. My house was completely exterior washed, a large woodpile and other outside issues addressed, complete scraping, prepping and taping done with care. Quality paint was used. Kirk was always available and responsive to my questions. I plan to hire them again for indoor painting this fall. I gave permission for references.

Extremely well. All team members were professional, polite and responsive. Mr Vandermark advised on color combinations and finish for longevity. I was given touch up paint for each color used with a promise to return and touch up anything necessary within a year. Several neighbors have already asked for Vandermark & son contact info!

Kirk and his crew are true professionals and craftsman. They did amazing work—taking a ceiling from popcorn to smooth (no texture)—and it looks so beautiful. Truly amazing! We can hardly wait to have him complete more painting projects for us.

Vandermark and Son was referred to me by my parents. They recently painted the exterior of their home and they were very impressed! Vandermark painted our entire interior from top to bottom.
