Miserable experience. Blame the customer. Lied to my face. Never got our stair right after the second going on third attempt. I asked them if they had their own installers and then sales woman said yes. They do not. They hire contract labor that was at my home until 10:00 pm one evening. Many more attempts with failures. Never got it right and wanted to try a third time. Ruined the paint on my stair rails and scratched my wood floors. Left my house trashed and dangerous with hundreds of staples all over. Overall a miserable experience. We elected to part ways rather than let them try again with the potential of more home damage.

The bed came with some sort of warranty that would allow it to be replaced should it break down. After 3 or 4 years, it started sagging. I called to complain, they sent a bed inspector out in due course, and they credited my account with $600 or so and I bought a $700 replacement bed, which seems to be holding up pretty well. I was a little surprised that they didn't try to blame the user of the bed (I do) and use that as an excuse to reject my claim. Instead, they just came through on their warranty. It makes me very pleasantly disposed to RC Willey and likely to shop there in the future, which I have, and do.
Description of Work: I bought a $600 bed for my adult son, which did hold up.

Very well. The estimate was done in a timely fashion. As all the materials were on hand, the job was started almost immediately. Joe Hartman was the team leader. This man is efficient, professional, and has a great nature. The job was completed quickly and well. There was no drama. Joe's expertise made the week fly comfortably by. I think that this rave review is mostly due to Joe. If you don't have him on your contract, think twice before you sign. 12/2/14 I am even more convinced that Joe is the way to go, but not RC Willey.
Description of Work: installed laminate wood look flooring in main house. Carpet to the 3 bedrooms. 1800 square feet.

Wanted a quality couch and love seat and got crap. They credited me a little for all the trouble I had gone through but my complaint is both supervisor, Jennifer H. and mngr. Mr. Willardson assured me in writing quote: "Customer has been assured that we will stand by our product and will work with her as to the functionality if the pieces and also concerning the footrest and headrest cushion and padding. Per Josie G. If there are any questions just ask Josie or Jen." Their words not mine, so today I called and was given every excuse as to "we didn't mean it that way." Where is the integrity when you promise one thing in writing and do another. Stay clear from this company, they cannot be trusted to stand by their word. It would probably cost approx $150 to fix my problem but they prefer to stand their ground and loose far more with a bad reputation and word of mouth. Don't they know customer service is keeping your customer happy so they will come back and buying. UPDATE: Nothing! The one thing they are good about and that is just plain LYING. Repairman gave me a written work order saying they would repair or replace. (Service Order 90344591 dated 9/23/13) . Now the company says the repairman did not find a problem. When I have a written Serv.Order. They have lied, and lied. On Angie's List they said someone would contact me, they didn't. They give a standard reply to all reviews so it looks good for them. Yet they have no intention of doing anything to solve the problem. That would be too much trouble for them. Repairman gave me a written work order 90344591 dated 9/23/13 stating they would repair or replace. Now they say the repairman didn't find a problem. I have the written order! I also have a written statement dated 5/8/13 from the Store Mgr. Tom Willardson and Supervisor, Jennifer H. quote "The cust. has been assured that we will stand by our product and will work with her as to the functionality if the pieces and also concerning the footrest and headrest cushion and padding. Per Josie." Their words not mine. Now their attitude is hard luck! we make all the promises and written guarantees necessary to get your money, now we have it, it is your problem not ours and don't bother us anymore. When I have a written Service Ord. and written guarantee they should stop lying and stand by their written word. Like any reputable company would.
Description of Work: Purchased a reclining couch and love-seat, delivered and love-seat had a hole, replaced it, 2nd love-seat mechanism was broken extended and they couldn't get it to close. Now 4 mos. after purchase the footrest padding is disintegrating and they refuse to do anything.

when we got our tv we were told if we bought the expensive insurance and did not use it after three years we got our money back but would have to remember to call. I did and was told all we got was a store credit of $200.00. When I said what the salesman had told us it was like oh well take the store credit or not. Don't listen to the salesmen there. They also recently adverised if you spent over $400.00 you get a free speaker. My grandson and roommates spent well over the $400. but then were told their items were on sale so it did not count. I think this is a very unethical store.

The tech came out and inspected it and they took it to the shop for repair. We were without a chair for weeks. They brought it back to our home and the controls stopped responding on my chair., Again they came out and repaired this. Next my chair extended and would not return to the closed position at the end of May 2013. This time the tech finally could fit us in on June 12, 2013. The motor on my chair had failed and could not be repaired. It had to be replaced. We have not had this furniture a year and the motor is burned out on my side I work 5 days a week and do not get a chance to use the chair enough to burn out the motor. I did not hear from them. I called them July 16, 2013. They said the motor came in on July 2, 2013 and no one had set up an appointment to come out and repair the chair. I advised them that at this point they have a no lemon clause in the contract and I am not comfortable with keeping the product as the warranty is going to run out, my husband is disabled and I cannot take a chance on him being trapped in a chair that will not close. I was told they would be out on July 24, 2013 to take pictures of the product and consider store credit exchange. The tech was a no call no show and we have not heard from R C Willey since.
Description of Work: Bought a Sectional with power chairs which are a loveseat.. My husband is disabled and a big man. Within two months his chair began to show wear and break down and shifting of the inside padding. The chair would pull to the right when the leg support lifted.
