Based on the positive recommendations for R J on Angie's list, we told him we wanted six teak chairs to be reupholstered and asked him to come to our home with representative swatches. He arrived at the appointed time with many samples. We asked R J how long he had done this type of work and he said for more years than he could remember. With that ice-breaker, we went through R J's swatches. He patiently answered our questions about the various samples and helped us narrow down the possible choices for our project. When we finally decided on the material we wanted R J to use, we made a partial payment for the project to him. After R J ordered the material, he returned to our home and picked up our chairs (and that was a nice touch!). R J delivered the reupholstered chairs to us two weeks later. We are very impressed! Not only did R J do a great job replacing the material on the backs and fronts of the chairs, but he cleaned the teak and it looks beautiful. What's more, my wife requested that R J replace the existing padding in the chairs, as the extant material had gone flat after thirty-five years. It seems that R J added just the right amount and the chairs are now much more comfortable. I highly recommend R J. Although R J's demeanor is generally terse, he understands materials and colors, and it took him less than three weeks from the time we made our material selection to when he delivered the reupholstered chairs to our home. We will have him back if the opportunity presents itself.

RJ did an absolutely fantastic job. We provided the materiel for the chair, and the chair looks brand new (although it is over 50 years old). Within budget, ahead of schedule, and an perfect job of craftsmanship. Will definitely use him, and only him, again.

He was pleased with the time frame he gave me up to 3 weeks. He completed it in two weeks from the time he picked it up. His craftmanship is excellent. He is curtious and professional. He appeared to be teaching a couple of young people the business. They were also curtious. He made sure they were careful when returning the couch, getting through doorways and past exhisting furniture. Note: Be sure you are clear with what and how you want the work done and he will do an excellent job! He did forget to leave me some business cards. . . .

We drove out to the shop to get it done. The owner is friendly and busy.

R.J. always called ahead, arrived on time, had samples we liked. workmanship was great: he matched stripes and pattern perfectly and the chairs look like new.
