They were very pushy and wanted to replace the all the carpet with a laminate flooring upgrade for $3000. Carpet Doctor repaired it for $375. Seems like they were trying to take advantage of a disabled Vet.

The showroom - Was treated very well and shown a good selection of flooring. I chose and the flooring was scheduled for about two weeks later. The installers - The three installers showed up on time and did an excellent job, matching the height of the flooring chosen for the bedrooms perfectly to the height of the tile in the hallway. They were easy to work with, listened to what I had to say on how I wanted the rooms to look. Yes I would hire them again.

Our installation workers arrived on time and worked diligently to get our floors beautifully completed. They were polite, helpful, and totally professional in their workmanship. Our floors were finished according to schedule. We couldn't be more pleased with the care and high level of expertise shown in this process. We highly recommend this company if your family or business is in need of new flooring.

We were seeking a vendor to install about 1600 square feet of unfinished oak flooring, tongue and groove, and to also sand and finish the floor once installed. We visited this vender specifically because they advertised such flooring. When we arrived at the showroom, we were told that they did not install this type of flooring and specifically recommended against it. They insisted that prefinished, engineered wood floors were superior and a great improvement, and that solid wood floors were 'outdated'. I don't mind the fact that they don't like unfinished solid wood floors that are finished in place, but I didn't appreciated the fact that they advertise the flooring we wanted and then pull a 'bait and switch' once in the showroom, and belittled our choice.

mehile shopping for laminate floors I went to Quality Floors 4 Less with a sample from another vendor, and the first thing that struck me about Dennis was that he was never negative about the competing product, rather maintained a respectful demeanor and just highlighted the differences between what he carried and the various intricacies of the flooring features. Dennis is very knowledgeable, humble and honest in his dealings and was very upfront in breaking down all of the services and charges that would be performed, leaving nothing "hidden" in the cost estimate like I had seen before from other companies. Dennis came out to my house to perform an estimate and was very quick, but accurate in doing so. He gave me quotes for a couple different scopes of work that we were considering, and had the official estimate sent to my email within hours of leaving breaking down every cost with a description of service. I elected to remove the old flooring myself and all costs associated with that were promptly removed and the estimate updated. There was a slight delay on the install due to the backlog of shipping in Oakland, however I was kept informed of all information as it came up, and once the product was in it was promptly delivered the next afternoon. I was tearing the old carpet out when the laminate was delivered, and the man delivering the floors spent a little time showing me how to make it more efficient and even let me use some of the specialty tools of his to speed up the process. That literally saved me at least 4 hours of demo time, which was a huge plus that I was incredibly grateful for. The crew arrived on the morning of the install and did a walk through with me asking if I had special preferences and outlining what they would do in specific areas. All of the installers were very courteous, charismatic, and professional. I left them to their business while I went to work, and they worked through the day and cleaned up a good portion prior to leaving. Once I got home, as they were cleaning, I walked around the house and "inspected" their work - all their cuts were very clean, their was no damage what-so-ever to the home in any areas they were working, all of the base boards had been removed and labeled in order to get them back to the correct location; it was a very professional job. The next morning the crew arrived while I was already at work and got right to it. I came home to a finished house that looked incredible. They cleaned everything up and helped me move my appliances back into place, lifting them to avoid scratching the new floors. The work was completed in two days and it's obvious that there were no corners cut, and great care was taken to make everything look as good as possible. My wife and I have begun putting all of the other pieces of our home back together and we couldn't be happier with it.

We are very happy with the services provided. The owner, Dennis, was very knowledgeable and honest in his dealings with us. The floor looks great and was very well installed. We have yet to notice any problems or inconsitencies with the floor. The install was completed in the time promised and the job site was left clean when they finished. The only real issue we had with the job was the punctuality of the installers on the day the materials were delivered and the first morning of the install. They were about a half hour late both days but it was not a major issue. We would definitely recommend Quality Floors 4 Less to our friends and neighbors.

After being in our home for 25 years we decided to replace the old carpet with new hardwood floors. We looked at two flooring stores before stopping at Quality Floors for Less. We talked to the owner, Dennis, and we're very impressed with the knowledge he was able to share with us, and the quality and pricing of his inventory. He was able to have the product delivered to our home for acclimation on the date promised. His installers arrived as scheduled and did an outstanding job with the installation. They were prompt, professional and displayed exceptional attention to detail. I would highly recommend Quality Floors for Less to anyone looking to have any type of flooring installed.

Quality Floors 4 Less is the best of the best. Denniis, the "up front", was highly knowledgable, professional, and charming. The installers were punctual, talented and equally charming. Excellent job!!!

Dennis and Anton are supremely knowledgeable about all types of flooring and installation. They both patiently answered all of our questions and helped us find the flooring product that was right for our space. Both Dennis and Anton are very responsive and professional and always did what they said they were going to do, right when they said they would do it. We scheduled our install and unfortunately the supplier was unable to supply the product in time (not Dennis's fault). Dennis helped us pick out another product that was similar and even worked with some other of his clients so that the delay in our install was minimized. The crew showed up on the install day and completed the entire project in one day! Needless to say, we were very pleased as this minimized the disruption to our household. We cannot be more pleased with the end result and plan on using Dennis when we install new floors upstairs as well.

They were excellent. They had a great work ethic. Everybody knows their job. They just jump in and get the job done and it's done very well. They came out within 48 hours to do the measurements and giving me the estimate even though they were 60 miles away from me. They asked me when they arrived how late they could work because they did commute one hour and I said until you're too tired and I can say that they worked until 7:30 at night. When they told me they would be there the next morning around 9:30-10, they were there.

The original appointment was for early December 2013. Due to a material supply problem the materials could not be shipped in time and it delayed the install. It really was beyond Quality Floors for Less' control. When the materials were delivered they arrive as planned and delivery was without a problem. The install crew arrived as planned and proceeded to do a great job. The install was not without its challenges. I think the stairway presented some problems for them, but they worked through them and we got a great result. My main concern was with the removal of the baseboards. We had carpet throughout the house and the wood was only 1/2" thick. Dennis indicated that they would take the baseboards off and remount them. All I could think of was the painting and damage to the walls that doing so would create. I admit I was a little nervous for that reason. During the install the crew removed the baseboards and numbered them carefully so they could be replaced. There was some minor damage to the baseboards in removing them, but they replaced the baseboards without much ado and fixed the damaged areas quite well. They are masters with caulk...lol. They really did a nice job and my fears were never realized. I just touched up some paint and it all looks great. Another area of concerns was the fireplace. We have a thick wood hearth and it did not appear to be very cooperative in allowing the crew to cut under it. They skillfully placed the wood around the base and caulked the gap between. I had some touch up painting to do, but it came our looking great and very functional. Overall they did a great job! My thanks to Dennis and the crew from Quality Floors for Less.

Dennis McLain, the owner, was very punctual in meeting with me for the estimate and gave good advice about details that I hadn't even considered. He was also very helpful in showing me how to care for the floor after it was installed. His team of installers, both in taking out the old floor and installing the new floors, were very courteous, hardworking, and professional. Because of the size of the job, they had to stay later than expected on two nights to finish the installation, which was fine with me. They did an excellent job with the hardwood, making very precise and meticulous cuts around angles, corners, and tight places. The fit is beautiful. Their cleanup was complete, leaving nothing behind.

Everything went great. The entire project from the quote to the end of the installation went smoothly. Quality Floors 4 Less has their own installation crew, and they did a fantastic job. The project started and ended when we were told it would, and the floors look beautiful! We are very happy, and if we want any more new floor, we will definitely call Dennis again!

We are so impressed with the quality and professionalism of Quality Floors 4 Less. After getting quotes from other dealers, we visited Dennis (almost as a last resort). The awards (Better Business Bureau, etc) caught my attention at first. Next were the choices of flooring-- amazing! Dennis was so easy to deal with. He came out to measure & give us a professional quote. He arrived when he said he would! He explained all the "whys" -- why get the one brand over another, why laminate for us and not hardwood, etc. He was patient and professional. His crew of 3 arrived promptly on the day we arranged. They were very professional and did a perfect job, ripping up our carpeting, and installing the laminate. We had 2 rooms -- living/dining combo, and office. They were accomodating. They worked hard, and finished the job when expected! They cleaned up. Our floors look amazing. Thanks Dennis, and to your partner & crew. You rock! We LOVE our floors!!!

They arrived on time and worked hard the entire shift. They have an excellent teamwork ethic. They went well beyond their required work and even helped fix an oven vent that was incorrectly installed. Overall, their work turned out beautiful and was worth every penny. I can't say enough positive things about their work ethic.

Workers arrived a little late (less than half an hour), called before planned arrival time to let us know they'd be late. Very pleasant workers, worked non-stop, friendly and professional. Did an excellent job. The new floor is beautiful, installed perfectly. They disposed of the nasty old carpet.

We spoke with Dennis in the store. He was knowledgeable and helpful on the flooring we should choose (laminate instead of hardwood), given our desire to have a large dog in the future. He came to our home within 3 days, for free, and gave us an estimate of costs. From there, we made the down payment and scheduled the first available appointment for installation, which fell within 3 weeks. Dennis, along with a coworker, arrived a few days before the installation to drop off the flooring, in order for it to 'acclimate' to our home. The installers arrived and worked from 9am to approximately 6pm, with only a short lunch break. They here professional, friendly and curteous. They finished in 2 days, even though the job was scheduled for 3 days!

We have visited the store and talked to Dennis many times in trying to shop and make a decision on flooring. He has been enormously knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. He has given us several samples to take home to compare. He has given us detailed product information, and both knows much more and is willing to be more helpful than the box stores. The Quality Floor products are high quality and have much better prices than comparable products at other so-called discounted sources. We are making our final purchase this weekend and know we can call on their knowledge and support as we carry out the project.

My wife and I were looking to have our upstairs floors done with either hardwood or laminate. After checking the "big box" stores, we found Quality Floors 4 less. They beat the prices by $1000 for laminate. Dealing with Dennis was a pleasure and was always there to answer our questions. He came out to measure our floors at no cost and when we ordered the flooring, delivery was also at no charge.They arrived and went right to work, moving the furniture, pulling up the old carpet and disposing of it, and laying down the laminate. We were told it could take two days but they finished in one day. We are very pleased with the amount of care they took with removing and replacing the molding and the moving of the furniture. We were told they would be here at 9:00AM and did show up at 9:15AM but I was off that day so it was not a problem. We are very happy with our new floors.
