Magic Rain Gutters

Horrible! We had new gutters installed 4 months ago. Directly after the gutters were installed, we noticed that on one side of the house the downspout was crooked and that the gutters around the entire house were not sealed for water leaks. We tried calling and texting 6 or 7 times. After the last storm, our new gutters have detached from the house and are dangling. Completely fleeced by this company that has shown us they have no integrity, don't stand by their work, and are unresponsive to making things right and fixing their mistakes. Do not, I mean do not, use Magic Rain Gutters if you are looking for quality and someone that stands by their work. Finally, I don't know this for a fact, but I know it's true, the 5 star reviews must be fake

I initially tried to get an estimate from another company. I never managed to actually speak to anyone, never getting anything but voice mail. The person would call me back, but in spite of the fact that I told him he would need to call my work number during work hours, he persisted on calling my home number while I was at work. He finally came out and looked and left yet another voice mail, on my home phone, that he didn't repair vinyl gutters. I had said repeatedly I wanted them replaced, not repaired. So I called Magic Rain Gutters. I got a real person on the first try, I believe Alfredo's wife. She arranged for him to come and look at the work I wanted done, then called me back and told me what it would cost. She said Alfredo had a specific color he thought would be best with my house and roof. She also said it would be about two weeks, which was what it took. Alfredo came out while I was at work and replaced my gutters, and I simply left a check under a mat. The work was great, the gutters look very good, the color is good, and there was no mess left at all. The cost was extremely reasonable. This is a family business, and I recommend very highly. I didn't even look further after I got his initial quote.

Called for a quote and Alfredo was very responsive. Met me when he said he would, and give me a quote on his business card. No details. Told him I would let him know if I wanted to hire him, and he gave me a 2 week turnaround time to install. In about a week, I telephoned, left a mess I wanted to hire him for the work, and I wanted a written quote by email. No return call. Gave it 4 days, called again. Messages were full, could not leave a message. Called again in 5 days, he answered the phone.=, asked if he'd gotten my message, he said vaguely. Asked him if he was interested in doing the work, he said yes, but couldnt' give me an install date, but would give me advance notice of when could come. Now, the weather has been pretty good until just this weekend, so not sure why that was an issue, but I agreed that dependent on the weather, I would expect him in a couple of weeks. Asked him if he would send me a written quote, which he agreed to do. Emailed him, no response. That was 3 weeks ago. Still have not heard a word. Only deduction I can make is that he has bigger jobs with more money involved, and mine just didn't qualify. I would have just preferred he said he wasn't interested. His slogan is that most of all, his company is trustworthy. I guess that is only the case when he wants the job.
