Steve Machutta of Machutta & Son Painting got me on his painting schedule about 6 weeks ahead of schedule. He has the most amazing crew (Roger, Travis, Bobby & Andrew). Everyone showed up on time, busted their butts and did a most amazing paint job on my house (especially Roger). Everything was done completely and professionally. The house looks brand new. I cannot thank them enough. I would highly recommend them to anyone out there looking for a great quality paint job.

Machutta & Son is the best house painter. Steve and his crew showed up on time every day they were here. They explained what they were doing and why. They took us through the whole process step by step. They are knowledgeable and courteous. The cost of the job included all the repairs that were needed. Boards needed to be replaced and the amount of caulking required was mind numbing. When they were finished with the job the house looked brand new. We cannot express how happy we with are our "new" home. It is a pleasure to drive up and see how beautiful our home now looks. Thank you Machutta &: Son and their fabulous crew. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who asks.

I am very happy with my choice of using Machutta & Sons for my interior painting and drywall project. Steve and his team are clean, punctual, and professional. When Steve or his team said they were going to do something, they followed through. Scheduling was effortless. Estimated five days for completion; Completed on-time. The drywall work that was performed was mudding, taping and texturing an archway that we had filled in. The texture matches the existing wall perfectly. Additionally they did some texture work in a couple of bedrooms closets; Again they matched the wall perfectly. Final walk through was very detailed; fixing any items as we went through the house from floor to ceiling. Price was a little higher than competitors but the quality of work that was performed is well worth the additional cost. You definitely get what you pay for. Thank you guys!!

From start to finish the experience was painless! Furniture was moved and perfectly replaced! Special care was taken so that our 2 cats couldn't sneak outside!

My request was not simple, yet Steve was able to match every paint and design, and he was able to do so via pictures I sent as we were doing all of this long distance. When additional work became apparent and wasn't originally planned, Steve was more than flexible and accommodating in order to complete before my husband and I arrived in town.

The painting work by Machutta & Son was first class, from start to finish. Steve Machutta takes great pride in doing the job right and satisfying the customer.

They were always punctual. After they were finished I had to call them several times. They did not turn off my water and luckily I noticed that. I had to call them to pick up equipment such as a ladder and extender paintbrushes they left at my house. I also had to ask them to clean up paint splotches on my windows and door frames. My door required another coat of red paint since you could see the white color underneath in spots. I later noticed they had not reinstalled my flag holder on my porch and they had spilled paint on my walkway. However after a year, the paint is holding up very nicely.

They offered good suggestions as to the materials, and provided references where we were able to view their work. The work was done on time, very complete, and everything in our home was returned to pre-job condition. The crew showed up on time every day to start work. They pressure washed the house first. Any nails sticking out of wood was removed and replaced with screws. Everything was cleaned and chaulked. Two coats of paint on everything. Out door lights were removed and replaced after area was painted. I can not express how awesome this company was concerning every detail of painting my home. They called back promptly after I left a message saying I was interested in a bid. Steve said he didn't want to schedule an appointment to come look at the job until I had the existing paint tested for lead. So I had EICS come take samples for the lead test. I called Steve back again and said, I've had the testing done and the results are promised for such-and-such a day. Could I get on your calendar for a day or so after the results are promised? I'm going out of town for a few days. Steve said, No, he'd just as soon wait till I got back to town to schedule the appointment. At that point I figured his company has all the business it needs without me. Other painters were willing to come look at the job and make a bid; I'll go with one of them.

Our house was built in the 1950s so it is subject to all EPA lead paint regulations. This made finding a qualified painting company challenging but Steve Machutta at Machutta & Son Painting were definitely ready to meet this challenge. Steve met with me and described in detail the processes they are required to take to safely scrape/sand lead containing paint to prevent the spread of any paint chips and dust. Steve quoted me a discounted price if we were able to certify the existing paint did not contain any lead. and was also kind enough to provide a reference for a local lead paint inspection company. The work was completed on time and at the price as quoted. We are very happy with the results and the new paint looks great.

Did not hire this company. I was very impressed with Steve. I really wanted his crew to paint my home. He was professional and on time. Neatly dressed and a friendly nice person to deal with. I had one estimate from and Angies List Painter back in October. I had one other estimate that was in April and then this company gave me an estimate. This was the highest estimate by $1,000 over the other guys. I talked to Steve and he said he would try to help to get my business BUT he could not even get close to the other estimate ($3,350). The problem is that once he told me this it gave me the impression that he could only knock off one or two hundred. He did not say this directly but since he told me he could not get close what am I too assume. He was $1,000 higher than the middle bid. The bid I got in October was the lowest. This low bid company that I got on Angies List painted my interior back in October. I viewed it on a dark cloudy day without my glasses and did a fast walk through. I paid right then and there. Later I found a horrible job - bleeding, missed walls, no cut in at trim, sloppy painting etc. I tired contacting them and no response. I would not use the woman team again. We decide to go with the middle bid. Not only will this company paint my outside but they are going to fix the errors on the inside for FREE. I will be rating this company once the job is done. This company is RATED real high on Angies list and just as friendly and professional. And going the extra mile to fix my interior.

The experience with Steve Machutta was excellent.

Since I had contracted with Machutta & Son in 10/2012, my house was probably one of the first to be painted in 2013. Steve personally supervised the work. House was first power washed and then the painters caulked the entire house. Fixtures were removed and furniture, planters, etc. were moved away from the house. Windows were covered and tape was applied where appropriate. Painting went very smoothly even though they had to contend with wind. When finished, they cleaned up everything. Can't imagine a better job.

Manchutta and Son was one of several companies we called for quotes on painting the exterior of our home. Their quote came in at the middle of the pack; however, they were the only company that actually even bothered to get out of the vehicle and walk around the house before giving us a quote (yes, the other companies just drove by, eyeballed it, and gave us a quote). Our home is mostly wood with some brick elements and was in desperate need of stripping and painting (paint was peeling off the trim and the garage door). I wanted the house to remain the same color, and Steve (the son) informed me it was a color that was no longer a stock color, but he'd match it as closely as possible. While some of the other guys power washed the house, Steve made several attempts at matching the color. I was getting a bit concerned that I'd end up with a new color, but he made an absolute perfect match. The entire job was done perfectly and done quickly, even with a holiday weekend and sudden storm. We would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to any of our friends.

Steve Jr. was so professional and informative during his initial estimate visit that we decided to go with this company even though it was the most expensive of all our quotes. We had no regrets about spending the extra money, though, because they did such a fantastic job. Our house is a two-story split level on a hillside, making this quite a complicated job, but it was no problem at all for Steve and his team. Steve was very helpful in assisting us in color choice when we were stuck. His team were all very friendly and polite. The end result is just stunning...I could not be happier with how the house came out. I highly recommend Machutta and Sons.

They do a lot of work in my subdivision. They were no trouble at all, and just did the job. They were wonderful. I have no complaints at all. It's nice that I didn't have to explain anything to them, they just knew what to do.

We contacted Marchutta and Son to come and give us an estimate on some planned Spring exterior painting but, decided in the interim, that we would paint some bedrooms, bathroom, great room, nook and kitchen. Steve Machutta arrived on time and gave a thorough and professional explanation of what the job would involve and what our price would be. Steve was helpful with our color choices to make sure that we would be happy with our selections. Steve and Roger did excellent work including the detailed cut-in (edging) work. The job was completed in the time frame estimated. We look forward to their return in a couple of months to fulfill the signed contract we have with them to paint the exterior of our house.

We had different companies come to bid out the project. We decided to go with Steve, whose bid was fair and in line with the others. They were busy so we had to wait a month or so to have them start the job, but it was well worth the wait. They showed up every day, on time, and were pleasant to be around. They didn't mind our dogs "helping" or getting underfoot. They completed the job on time, even though I thought it might take a little longer. We will definately use them again.
