Little City Landscape

Little City Landscape turned our yard into a beautiful and easily maintained piece of perfection. We are so happy with the job they did and the price we paid. I estimate it would have taken me 130 days working alone to do what they did in just 8. They were incredibly respectful and conscientious of safety and they were able to make changes and adjustments for us when we needed. The attention to details we knew nothing about is really appreciated. I'm thrilled with what they did for us and the freedom their hard work has given me.

We could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish. This is an incredible company to work with. Everyone including the owner, office staff and landscape crew were professional, courteous, neat and efficient! Kirk, the owner, had great vision and listened to what we wanted, then made it so much better. Ernie and his crew took our nasty front yard and turned it into easily the best yard in the whole subdivision. No home owner could ask for a better process or end result!

The project went wonderfully. Kirk created an amazing design for my yard and corrected a variety of drainage issue. Ernie and the crew did an amazing installation. They stayed in contact with me and let me know if they encountered issues and options to address them. I love my new landscaping and paver patio. I can’t believe it’s my house.

The project far exceeded our expectations. First, Kirk Barlow came over and gave us his vision for turning our wreck of a backyard into a show piece. He sketched out his plan to include large boulders, river rock, black lava and paths. It looked too good to be true on paper and really got too good when he gave his quote of just under $19K for what I was guessing would have been at least $30K. We signed the contract with estimated start date of sometime in March. We received a call from the job foreman, Ernie in mid January which was a pleasant surprise. He said they would get started on that thursday and he wasn't kidding. A crew of 7 or 8 guys showed up along with two bobcats and a trackhoe and things really started rocking and rolling. Over the course of 4 days, these guys transformed our mediocre weed patch into a work of landscaping art. Load after load of material was dropped in front of the house and just as quickly moved into place in the backyard. Fourty tons of boulders and uncounted yards of black lava, river rock, DG and gravel along with hundreds and hundreds of feet of drip line provide a great background for strategically place trees and shrubs. I still can't believe they did this monster job in four days and never asked for an extra dime over the quote. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Little City Landscaping to anyone. Great job guys. Kirk?s vision of the front and backyards was inspiring. He is able to sketch right in front of you what he recommends for your landscaping based on your comments of what is needed. Ernie and his crew are able to take this vision and create a landscape that copied the drawings well. They are very hard workers and finished my yard (1/3 of an acre) in about 7 days. They missed a drip on one plant but came out and installed in later. One small request of crew was not taken care of but that?s OK. They started the landscaping one day later than I had been notified of and neglected to let me know. Once the crew was here they worked very hard.

We've got a couple of problems but they're very responsive in working with us to resolve problems and they were very fair. Generally, these guys are really good.

These guys are fantastic. They were on time and on schedule. They did an amazing job on our front yard and it is absolutely lovely. We worked with the owner, Kirk, to establish the plan and watched him as he amazingly drew the plan in front of us after listening to our likes and dislikes and our plan for the type of yard we hoped for. He was completely knowledgeable about our neighborhood, the soil and even the HOA, After establishing the initial plan we worked with Ernie who managed everything. We LOVE Ernie. He is professional, personable, SKILLED and an all around knowledgeable person. He is a problem solver and skilled with working with his crew. The crew worked HARD in sweltering heat all day. There was no lounging around. Each day they cleaned up totally and at the end of the job they power washed the street, sidewalk, porch and driveway. Everything was pristine. With Ernie on site we were confident that the job would be done correctly. He talked to us every day about the progress. Kirk also came by regularly to inspect the progress and talk to us. Their communication was excellent. We even signed on for their maintenance program. We also had them repair a horrendous underground leak requiring a back how and workers in the ground. They removed trees that were failing and replaced plants. They cleaned out gutters and make sure the down spouts were clear and flushed out clean. The job was completed when this review was written. For what Little City Landscape did their price was pretty much right on. They did everything they said they would do, they did it on time, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. They got 3 other jobs in our neighborhood from people seeing what they did. We are going to have them come back out and do our front yard. Their price was fair. The quality is definitely an A. The owner is very artistic and very clever. It is beautiful and we are looking at our neighbor's front yard that they are doing and it is beautiful as well.

The one things that stands out is that they are artistic. They were a little careless in their planting technique. My overall impression was very positive. My wife had to get on some guys. Their was a language problem so my wife had to go out and start planting things until they understood. Everything just came out beautiful. The guy came up in a truck and drew a sketch. He came up to the door and showed us the drawling. It came out much better than the drawling. We are the envy of the neighborhood. They took my wife to the quarry so that she could pick out the rocks.
