Evergreen Carpet Care

This is kind of a mixed review, so hard to figure out the letter score to give them. We had Evergreen come out on 12/10/18 and clean our carpets, two sofas, lazy-boy chair, and two beds at our house. We also had them take three area rugs of different manufacturers/size to be cleaned. We had just had 6 months of renovation work and the place needed to be cleaned. The good: I cannot say enough how pleasant and professional all of their staff have been during the times I have talked with them and had them out. They were on time. The cleaning of the rugs and sofas/chair was probably the best I have ever had from any carpet cleaning company. I highly recommend that you use them to clean your carpet and sofas, I will use them again for this. The bad: do not, DO NOT, have them clean your beds or rugs. Both beds (of different ages and manufacturers) had a chemical smell left in them. The quality manager came out twice and reworked the beds, I have no fault in Evergreen’s efforts and professional attitude. But we have had the two beds in the garage for a month and a half and the odor has not gone away – so we have had to buy new beds to replace them. The three rugs were a variety of quality, age, and manufacturer, but all were returned with a heavy soap /chemical smell. Once again, the Evergreen team was very professional and picked them back up and rewashed and kept them for almost 2 weeks. Alas, they still have the odor, they are out in the garage, we are hoping that at least the best of them will eventually off-gas. So, carpet/sofas = Yes! Beds/rugs = NO!

Great. Saw their ad on TV and got an approx. quote over the phone and made a date for pick up. The very large dark brown area rug had been hanging in a nearby Consignment store I'm sure for a very long time. It was a shag rug and even tho we tried to vacuum it, was to difficult because it was not a smooth surface. Saw their ad on TV gave them a call and had it cleaned with another smaller close cut pile area rug. The large one came back so beautiful, clean and sanitized it looked like a huge fur rug. Looked better than new. They were on time picking up and since I had such a bad experience in where I was moving to at that time and where it was to have been delivered, I had to postpone delivery for about 6 weeks. Called and told them my predicament and there was no problem in them keeping it that length of time at no charge. Very pleased and my granddaughter used them as well for a very old antique large area rug and at came back just beautiful with all the colors of design so fantastic!! Their prices very good as I had shopped around and their quality of work was excellent.

Evergreen was excellent in every way. They picked up our area rugs and cleaned them at their facility and then delivered and relaid them for us. They even came back a second time at no charge to work on the oil stain that reappeared. Excellent company and excellent service

Online coupons were only a sales gimmick, once they arrive the price is very different based upon their measurements of each room. I asked to see their pricing chart based upon square footage but it is kind of a secret I guess. Overall the service is fair but its way over priced.

They offered a great deal for advanced service over 12 months but each time they came they wanted more money for for a variety of required services. They run a dis- honest racket

They were cheap but they did an awful job. They were supposed to come back and do some touch up work. They left the carpets unacceptable.

I like them a lot. They are very good. I got a group on for $21 and it was for a total of four hundred square feet. My carpet looks great and much cleaner. It's a dark carpet and I can see the section that is clean and the section that isn't. The rug is already dark so it wasn't that it was wet but it's lightened up. They were very polite and they showed up early as I had them scheduled. They were very professional and very personable. They did a great job. It looks fantastic and the carpets look like new again. I called them this morning and they came this afternoon. I would definitely get them again if I have to clean these rugs again.

This is the 3rd time that Evergreen Carpet Care has cleaned our 2700 sqft home and they have been great each time. They have a menu of choices to make that will fit your budget as you desire.

Sump pump overflow, called Evergreen, came out within 24 hours, very professional. Great help from Sean, only concern was the $1200 difference in cost quoted by the Evergreen and Insurance claim quote.

They did a pretty good job. I was able to get a good deal through Groupon.

Very responsive on the phone and arrived on site when scheduled. Work performed as they described but there was a film on the ceramic tile when they finished. Apparently it was residual sealer. They came back and cleaned the entire areas again and then applied sealer to the grout only (as opposed to spreading it over all of the tile with a mop). Finished job was very good. Aside from the inconvenience of having them on site for 4-6 hours twice I have no complaints. They stood by their work without a hassle which was important.to me.

Team of two arrived on time. After walk-through of house, they got to work. As I work out of my home office, I overheard the two of them talking while they worked comparing notes about how many hours they had worked the past week, along with other - at times cryptic comments about those they work with. I also observed the more senior team member stood around and did NOTHING other than talk and laugh at his own "jokes." (The younger team member seemed to take it in stride.) Whenever I was in the immediate vicinity, I felt like I was a test audience for the more senior's comic relief review. Once during the operation, i observed the senior team member go into my kitchen and take several feet of paper towels to mop up water that had pooled on the faux wood flooring outside one bedroom -- right in front of me, as if it were his house! The senior team member also made direct observations of product inventory I had in my garage and asked about it. I simply acknowledged his question and would not elaborate. I almost replied: "Hey! I'm paying you to clean my carpets, not to case my entire house!" but I kept it to myself. During a UPS delivery where I was helping the UPS driver bring in boxes shipped to me, the senior team member literally walked up to me and started telling me a joke about UPS drivers - with the UPS driver 5 feet behind me! I looked at him while carrying the box and said: "Not now!" He turned and scooted. After they left, I mopped up standing water outside of each bedroom. I also felt the carpeting in several spots. It was SOAKED. They had left by 2PM. Windows and doors were open until 9PM. Furnace and fan on all night. Carpet was not dry throughout the house until 5PM the NEXT DAY. OBVIOUS 2-3 inch spot in living room carpet remained after their work. I used some spray on carpet cleaner and lifted it right out. Kind of make me wonder if my carpets were actually cleaned or just rinsed.

They fill up within their time frame. They give you quote before they come. They do a good job of cleaning. They also make sure that furniture are kept. They follow-up after their work is done to make sure that you are happy with their job.

They did the work in the evening without the benefit of good lighting in all of the rooms. The carpet came out great and now has to survive two small dogs.

There isn't much to say, the work was done in about an hour or so, and things went well. I was pleased with their service.

The service technician was on time, professional, and did an excellent job. When two of the sofa cushions did not come completely clean, he returned on another date and made re-cleaned the cushions, which did the trick. He also left a couple of bottles of professional strength cleaner for my future use.

After I received Evergreen's estimate I was still shopping around for a better deal. I actually wanted the 3 rooms, two halls, the stairs and the couches spot treated, cleaned and scotchguarded as well as the kitchen tile and grout cleaned and sealed. I was given an estimate from another company to do the same services plus five additional rooms for $200 less. I went with the cheaper company and let me tell you, you get what you pay for...If something sounds too good to be true it probably is! I had a VERY, VERY, bad experience with the other company. I actually kicked the technician out of my house less than half way through the service, and wanted him out even sooner than that. I immediately called Evergreen (still in tears) and asked them if they could fit me in the same day because I needed them to come and correct the mess the other guy left me with. They had Ezra here in less than 3 hours dispite their tight schedule. Ezra confirmed what I wanted, gave me a fair price with no hidden costs, and got to work fixing my house right away. He is so polite and professional I can't say enough good things about him. While he was working, his boss called to check on his progress and make sure I was happy with the service! My carpets and couches look fantastic! I will be having my tile and grout cleaning and sealing done next month. I will NEVER trade cheap for professional again. I have this done every six months and have had several different companies do the work in the past. I know who I'll be calling from now on. Thank you sooo much Evergreen, you saved my day and my carpets!!!

Went great, once we straighted out that we thought they were coming at 9 am and would be here until 11 am. What they meant, and what got cleared up, was that they would be coming BETWEEN 9 am and 11 am. As said earlier, staff were friendly and professional. The job was thorough. We were very pleased with their work and would definitely use them again. Appreciated receiving a follow-up call as well.
