Extremely professional job and outcome was impressive. Followed up three times a after drying to make sure the stains were completely removed.
Description of Work: Cleaned a very large, hazardous and deep stains on carpet and tile. Major effort required over a period of 2 days.

The job was poorly done. The carpets were not cleaned well. The service man was bored and acted put out just to be there. Had to ask him to redo obvious areas where he missed spots. I will not use them again.

UPDATE 1/18/2013: I contacted this company again 3 weeks ago to come treat and clean a sofa. Beverely stated she would let me know when the appointment time would be on Saturday. In the meantime, I found out that the prior owner (Scott) had pretty much sold most of the business to another person, but was still commuting from California part time to work on jobs. By Friday night, I still hadn't rec'd a call from this company, so I assumed they weren't interested in my business. Ce la vie - 200 carpet cleaners in this town, I would find someone else. Saturday, I get a call from Justin, he is coming over at 11:00 to clean my couch. HUH? I explained that I had no idea he was coming, and indeed, I would need to move the couch to a secluded area to dry, and I hadn't made any arrangements to do that, so I couldn't accomodate him. He indicated he would call his office, and tell them to call me to reschedule. Wednesday rolls around, no one from Empire has called. I called Justin back, he explains he is not surprised, he is running into this situation often now, and tells me he will call them again to see if something can happen on Saturday. Here I sit on Saturday, no call from Empire, no call from the tech. It's pretty obvious now that the new owners 1.) don't care much for their reputation in this area and 2.) obviously have too much business to mess with my little couch or practice any plain decency or consideration. I hereby remove my A rating, and give them an F for every catagory except price. This is unfortunate, but I guess this is what can happen when a good owner sells out to incompetent and lazy owners. 4/1/2012: I had two naughty kitties at my old apartment, and they urinated alot in several areas. I thought I would have to replace the padding in those areas, and have the carpet treated (and floor sealed) to get rid of the smell. I had 5 companies come in and give me an estimate to do the work. When Empire came in, Scott listened to my directions, and went around and did some measuring. He stated to me that he thought that because I had treated the areas and cleaned continously, that instead of replacing the pad, I would benefit in using an enzyme treatment that he had used in the past that was very effective. It would save me $400.00 in pad replacement (that is about what the other 4 companies quoted me on the work plus the cleaning cost). We discussed the matter, and he assured me that if the smell was not gone, he would come back, do the pad replacement at a lessor cost, and re-treat at no cost. The other companies never suggested alternatives to save me money, and instead agreed that replacing the pad was the only option. I liked Scott's attitude and his suggestion, and we agreed on a price of $200.00 to do the cleaning and the treatment. Sure enough, the treatment was effective. I had had Evergreen come out and clean, and treat (2xs) in the past year and the smell was atrocious. They never mentioned this treatment at all and I was convinced that pad replacement was the answer. I think Scott has a good understanding of the industry, and he certainly is looking out for his customer's carpet, and their wallet. The only negative I have is that the tech was not up to what I think are Scott's high standards. But the results were excellent. I can highly recommend Scott and I will use his company as long as he is in business.

Everything went great!
Description of Work: Did a great job cleaning the carpets. Although the square feet was a little higher than estimated, they only charged what was previously negotiated. Receipt was a little hard to read since not enough pressure was applied to the original and since this was a rental, the receipt was the most important part of the deal, but would use their services again anyway.
