Dryer Vent Wizard of Northern Nevada

There was 20 years worth of lint and the tech did a great job cleaning it out. I was not ready for the need of a new dryer hose at a cost of 85.00 nor was I prepared for a 45.00 replacement exterior vent that only costs under 10.00 at Home Depot. The tech broke my vent and told me it wasn’t code, so it needed to be replaced. 314.00 was a bit pricey, but considering the add ons, it all added up.

Our technician was running a few minutes late and he made sure to call and let me know. I appreciate this type of communication. We ended up needing the outside vent housing replaced due to age. He made sure we knew everything he was doing and why. This company is an exception in service and professionalism. I would absolutely hire them again and have told everyone out there that needs this type of work done to contact them. Thank you!

The dryer vent wasn't connected to the outside of the house so all of the dust was exploding out. They showed up early.

I could not ask for better service. The technician arrived earlier than scheduled (phoned first to be sure it was ok to come early) and was very personable and professional. He was unable to do a thorough job of cleaning due to a unique problem in our vent system. He did the best he could under the circumstances. He discussed the situation with Jeff, the owner, and Jeff came out the next day to check it out. Jeff took care of the problem, completed the procedure, took videos of his work (under the house) and offered suggestions to permanently fix the problem. It was a pleasure to work with this company.

Very well! I met the owner, Jeff Knudtzon, at an HOA trade show and after reviewing his and other dryer vent services scheduled a cleaning. Jeff arrived promptly in the window of time window requested, with a phone call saying when he was on his way. After a diagnostic check of the airflow, he related I did not need service – but wanted to check the vent line just in case there were any leaks to the attic. There was a very minor one and he repaired it right then in just a minute or two. Before hiring Dryer Vent Wizard, my wife researched Angie’s List, the BBB rating, business licensing, etc. Jeff and his company passed with flying colors. That information and my first impression made feel comfortable having their service. Again he was honest and very explanatory, professional and courteous, and only charged me the inspection price of $39.00 even though he did extra work and said I should call him in 3-5 years for another check-up. We had them inspect our dryer vent and look at doing the vent cleaning. Do to the cost of the cleaning we decided to not do it at this time. Jeff the owner was was very good at working with us and refunding our money for the work. I give Jeff credit for being a very good company owner and being responsive to the customer needs.

Went well clean dryer vent dryer works much better

It was a very painless fix which was a huge relief!! He was very nice and explained everything that needed to be done and the difference it would make. Also for me a big plus he liked my crazy dogs!! I will call again when its time for a "tune up"

Jeff was on time and very friendly and personable. He even greeted my pugs. Jeff explained the process and thoroughly explained what he was doing for each step. He also cleaned our dryers filter compartment because he could see something down at the bottom. He removed the object and lint. I appreciated his suggestions for maintaining clean vents and filter. I recommend his services to anyone and will use him again.

We recently purchased a house in the Reno area. The washer and dryer were left by the previous owners. They are higher-end appliances and only a few years old. We originally hired Jeff to clean the roof dryer vent because the dryer was not working efficiently and to provide an estimate to re-route the roof vent to the laundry wall. After inspecting the dryer and venting system, Jeff showed us the video of our existing roof venting system that had several crooks and bends that may be restricting the air flow. There was also a back-draft and lint into the laundry room. We decided it was more economical to install a new vent to the exterior laundry room wall vs cleaning the roof vent over the years. Jeff called before he arrived. He was early and spent a couple of hours on the job. He is personable, reliable and professional. He work is neat and clean. He even cleaned behind the washer and dryer.

Technician worked in a confined space under the house. He did an excellent job and explained why the work needed to be done from a safety perspective. We will use this vendor in the future for routine dryer vent cleaning.

The Dryer Vent Wizard showed up very promptly and cleaned our dryer vent and even inside the dryer. During the process he explained everything he was doing and why. I have to admit it was a little embarrassing to see how much lint he was able to get out of our vent! Our dryer was like new when he finished and he even relocated our dryer in the laundry room so the airflow would be better from here on out. We were very greatful that he not only saving our dryer from burning out, but more than likely he even saved our home from catching on fire someday.
