Dave's Window Cleaning

I had used Dave's services before and needed him again and he didn't disappoint. He fit me into his schedule on short notice and did his usual fine job. He is thorough and genuinely cares about doing good work. And his pricing can be beat!

What do you get when you hire a computer geek who is also a window cleaner? You get a person who is very detailed oriented. Dave has studied the characteristics of glass and generally knows which of his cleaning compounds work for the different types of glass he encounters while providing his services. There is no doubt that Dave Earle is a master; however, a team is only as strong as all of its links and I will address that in the con of this review. The pros: 1. Dave charges by the hour, and all the work he does is included in the hourly rate; and therefore, there are no surprises. This is great in view of the fact that we have a large sun room with 11 windows. 2. Dave and his crew not only did both sides of the windows, but they cleaned all the window "channels" and shutters, which are provided for all the windows, except those in the sun room. In addition, the window screens were quite dirty, and they, too, looked great after they were cleaned. 3. Dave and his crew cleaned all the fans and mirrors in the house. 4. As Dave had to cancel an earlier appointment because of sickness, he promised us an extra, and that was removing all the hard water spots from the shower area of our master bathroom. When he was finished, the glass and stainless steel sparkled, and I told our house cleaner, that we saw no need for him to work in that area until further notice. 5. Only Dave or one of his crew under his direct supervision performs work in the master bedroom or bathroom. 6. Dave provided us with his opinion about the condition of our glass, and based on that information, we don't have a need to replace any of the windows in the foreseeable future. This advice alone will save us many dollars as we were considering replacing several of them. 7. Dave and his crew arrived a little late, but worked constantly during the three hours they were at our home. The cons: 1. The third person on Dave's crew was an older teenager, and my wife and I had to redo several smaller areas where he had worked. I advised Dave by email after he had left our home, and he responded that the young man was still learning and offered us another extra the next time he provides his services at our home. Overall, Dave and his crew did an excellent job.

They responded to my calls and did an excellent job in cleaning the screens and windows. They went above what they said they would do because I had not expected my ceiling fans to be dusted. The job was done in a short period of time. This was the first time that I used their service and I would use them again.

I look forward to the service and know he will do a good job Dave does it himself, not his workers because he says tile roofs are too easy to ruin.

David answered the call promptly and gave me all the information over the phone I need to schedule the appointment. He arrived early, was professional, work was done above what I expected. I would definately hire David again.

I liked the owner however I thought that the workers he brought with them were a little strange.

Great! Had a large crew which he managed and he did most of the inside work himself. Do to cold weather and short days, they work over 2 days...9 hrs. BIG job..well done. Also we have 3 story windows, front & back on A-frame house. No problem!

Dave and his team were punctual, professional, and polite, showing every possible courtesy. Dave did most of the work on the inside of the house while the other two cleaned the outside. They were efficient and fast, yet methodical in their cleaning, ensuring no speck of dirt was left behind. The price was very reasonable and even included a military discount. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave's Window Cleaning in the future and anyone would find it very difficult to find a crew as competent. They went out of their way to ensure our satisfaction and happiness.

Very courteous, on time, respectful and did a beautiful job. quiet and thorough. Dave worked on the inside his hired men on the outside. Also removed the paint over spray that was on the windows for years. So clean the birds tried to fly through.

They brought a team of workers. They were very quiet in the house and worked quickly. The windows looked perfect when they were done with the exception of the windows /French doors on the east side of the house. All the windows were really grimy from dust and spotty from drops of rain initially. Those windows did not look as good as the others; somewhat streaky. In their defense, the sun beats in those windows in the morning and shows every spot. They did the east side last and it may have been difficult to see the streaks. Also, I think we were their last call on a really warm day so I know they were tired. I will definitely call them again because I think they can do a good job. :)

Three people came to do the job. Dave was injured so he was not with them. But he called to see how it was going. They called to see if it was ok to come early.

Dave handled cleaning all of the inside windows while his 2 crew members removed and cleaned all of the screens outside. His two guys went to work on cleaning the outside windows and when Dave finished the inside he helped finish the outside windows and replace the screens. They worked for 3 hours without stop. The bid from my initial call was estimated at 3 hours based on the size of the house and the location as Dave had worked in this area before. There was no counting windows, screens, etc. He said their policy was to remove the windows and clean them as well as the window tracks. I had some concern about a couple of the windows with some loose vinyl trim. We discussed it and I felt that it would be best not to remove them but to just clean the windows. Dave assured me that the window tracks would be cleaned the best they could, and they were. I have talked to several window people about repairing or replacing the vinyl trim. Dave was able to tell me the brand of windows and who to contact locally because he knew that the trim was still being made. That info alone was priceless to me. I have been wanting to put some type of covering on the glass in the garage door to keep the sun from shining in all afternoon. Dave told me exactly what to get to allow light in but to block the sun. And, he explained exactly how to do it. Have talked to several handymen around town and they were making this into a huge project. The suggestions today will definitely save me some money. Dave definitely has the exclusive contract to keep my windows clean and shiny -- thank you Dave -- your are THE MAN!!!

He was very good. He was very pleasent and took care of anything I asked him to do.

We've used Dave in the past, and always been pleased. Most recent experience is no exception. He closely supervises his helpers, and is extremely conscientious and thorough. And - gracious. He is also very knowledgeable about windows, screens, etc., and so is a great resource. We have a very large house with many windows, but everything got done very efficiently.

Left two phone messages over a 4 business day period inquiring to hire this company for window cleaning service. I received no response to my phone calls.

We will definitely have Dave and his crew out again, probably more frequently than he recommends. They were timely, efficient, and professional at a very reasonable price.

Several of the windows had serious hard water stains from years of sprinklers hitting the house. Dave worked diligently to get all the hard water off. The windows are now not only clean, but clear, for the first time since I purchased the home 9 months ago. I'm very pleased with Dave's efforts to go the extra mile for me.

Everything went great. The window cleaning was scheduled for a week earlier but due to rain being forecast, Dave called to see if I wanted to reschedule, which we did. On the day of the cleaning Dave called to say he had a cancellation and that he could clean the windows earlier in the day if that would work out better for us, which it did. Everything was done in a professional manner with no wasted time. Dave is very personable and easy to work with. He and his 2 workers are careful inside of your house and on the outside, even going to the extent to not wear shoes in the house. The windows and mirrors looked great when they were finished. I highly recommend Dave's window cleaning.

It must have been my lucky day. I gave Dave a call & as luck would have it he lives in my part of town. He said that we could make an appointment or since he was available he could come right over. He was here in about twenty minutes & asked what we wanted done. We told him & he went right to work. He did a thorough job of cleaning the windows which included the windows, tracks & screens. My wife reviewed his work when he was done & she was happy with the job he had done. He was punctual, efficient & reasonable. We would recommend him to anyone who wants a good job at a fair price.

We really needed to have the windows in our home cleaned. Having tried to do it ourselves before and having streaks and stuff, we decided to hire the job out. I went to Angie's List and looked up window cleaners. I chose Dave''s Window Cleaning because of the number of positive feedbacks he had previously received. We were not disappointed. I had called Dave and we originally scheduled the appointment for around Thanksgiving. Then came the rains, so I called and asked him to reschedule which he as able to do with no problem Our appointment was for December 3rd. Dave and his crew showed up promptly at 10 a.m. He explained to me everything that he was going to do and then they started. They were here for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. We were very impressed with the work that they did. They cleaned all the windows, cleaned the fan blades in every room that had a fan in it, and even cleaned the glass blocks in our shower and all the mirrors. Dave was very personable and thorough. We would not hesitate to recommend Dave's Window Cleaning to others. We felt that the price we paid was very fair for the work that was done. By the way, they charge a flat rate - not per window - which was great!
